January 12 2024 i went to Jefferson off of *********** in **** ***** for a free braces consultation. They tricked me into getting braces, when i told them the next day they need to remove them they said no we will not remove the braces. They signed documents without my knowledge and they have been trying to charge my card on multiple occasions, i had to go somewhere else outside of Jefferson dental to get the braces removed i had the braces on for no more than 24 hours. They have been trying to charge my card since January multiple different amounts. I spoke to Jefferson and told them to stop calling my phone and to stop trying to charge my card and bank account. and quite frankly im ready to sue for fraud because in no form or fashion did i tell them i wanted braces that day, i did not sign the documents and they manipulated me in to giving them banking information. the dental assistant started doing braces and i didnt realize she was doing it until she pulled out the blue uv light to dry the bond. the manager said dont worry about it they wont charge me until i come back and decide if i want the braces or not. i called the next day and asked them to remove the braces, the manager then said" no we wont remove it and we wont stop charging the card". I never signed any documents stating they could do dental work on me other than the free consultation. this caused me to have physical mouth pain and i had to spend money out of pocket to have them removed at another location causing a week worth of dental pain.Initial Complaint

I've never been lied too so much. This is not the right location but it appears.I worked with the ******** Location, the manager there sold me so many lies. I can't close my mouth for weeks now. Im calling daily no one calls me back. Or emails me back. This dental tells you everything is a route canal. But its exactly really damage. I would not recommend anyone go there for dental treatment. She even called me and provided someone else information and I was like do you know who you're speaking to. Everyone is nice in your face. But once you leave, you have payment you owe that you have no clue about. They mess up your appointments. I was left in severe pain and no one cares. I've been waiting for a call back for weeks. I call customer service and I'm told someone will call me back ...never happens. My feelings are hurt. I gave thousands of dollars and they just abandon me. I have a infection in my mouth and the doctor told me nothing. My face is swollen. Its been going on for months and I have no dental insurance allowance left because I used it with this company. We came into this place and Jefferson dental for a basic cleaning. Yes, my daughter told them that she had a little pain, but we wanted a basic cleaning. Their attitudes were very nasty after two hours of being there only get x-rays done. We never asked him for x-rays they are overcharging people ************ that they are not asking for We never asked for X-RAYS JUST CLEANING WE FEEL USED AND ONLY BECAUSE THEY KNEW MY DAUGHTER HAS A DISABILITY IS THE REASON THEY GOT THIS OFFInitial Complaint

On my initial visit to Jefferson Dental, the dentist told me I needed all of my teeth removed because of dental decay and that the cost of upper and lower dentures would cost $1,358.00. I paid for the dentures on the third visit. On the fourth visit, the technician produced wax dentures that did not fit and eventually broke while she was trying to place them in my mouth. There was a disagreement between the dentist and this technician about how many teeth I needed removed because the dentures were incorrectly made. Also the dentist admitted that all of my teeth did not need to be removed because my husband insisted that the diagnosis was incorrect. The dentist reexamined my x-rays and agreed that I only needed partials. Before the next visit, I went to the dental office and terminated their services. I requested a refund of money I had paid. The office manager told me she had to refer this matter to the headquarters for a refund. I called all of the telephone numbers on the internet JDC references and have been told all numbers were to clinics. I have not received a refund. I would like my money back because I am a 78 year old retiree.Initial Complaint

I was supposed to get same day services. I went into the office and had the impression done and waited for 2 weeks. They were supposed to pull my teeth and remove the bridge I had and insert my new dentals. When I went back, they pulled my teeth and removed the bridge, but the dentals didn't fit. They were plastic and they did another impression when I went back, they had more plastic teeth. They were supposed to have my dentals ready the day they pulled the teeth. I could have gone to Baylor Dental College if I wanted to wait 2 months. That was the reason I went to them. They stopped answering my call and to this day I have no teeth but still paying the bill on the credit card. I would like to have my money back.Initial Complaint

I had an appointment for a dental cleaning at Jefferson Dental ******* on 2/09/24, I paid a copay of $6.80, as well as $206.80 before leaving the facility. On 2/12/24 I realized the office had the wrong insurance on file, so I tried to reach out to the office to update it. I asked the person on the phone if I could send the updated insurance card to their email, she provided the following email, ******************* I sent the email on 2/12/24 @2:23 pm. I followed up with my insurance that week to make sure the dental office sent in the claims for services rendered which was a cleaning, but my insurance stated they never received any claims. I then f/u with the clinic again that same week to make sure they received my email, and they stated they did. Two weeks later I still did not see any claims submitted so I called the customer service rep and asked if the office had updated my insurance, the csr stated they still had my old insurance in my chart, my old insurance is MetLife and my updated insurance is ************* I started receiving bills from the billing ***** and then called again to let them know I sent in my insurance card, I asked if I could send it to them instead. I received the following email from the billing department ****************** I sent the email with my insurance card attachment on 4/03/24 @8:25 am I also included my Rabpay# *******. I still received bills afterwards and they never sent in the claims to ************* I received a call from ****** (I'm not sure if that is the correct name) I explained the whole issue and gave her the date of the emails sent, she apologized and said she will contact her supervisor. I thought the issue was resolved, but I still didn't see any new claims. I received a bill on 7/07/24 stating that they will be sending my account to collections for non payment if they don't receive payment in 10 days the amount of the bill received is $347.00. I have been compliant regarding this issue despite of their negligence.Initial Complaint

I am getting billed from 2022. I have an outstanding bill that has accumulated since then. I have paid all my portions asked and every statement during this time. They said I owe so much due to my insurance taking up to 2 yrs to pay my claims. My insurance informed me that was not the case. Jefferson did send me my ledger, but no one at the office or the 3rd party billing company can explain what the charges are since they are just generic terms, such as restoration. It is just a sea of unpaid claims that they resubmit over and over again. I really have no idea what has been paid and what hasn't. December/January they had authorization for a lower partial, I have been without my lower since then. They were about to finish the 4th attempt at completing my lower when all their businesses shutdown in ********, while attempting to complete my lower they made adjustments on my upper denture and voided my warranty with the company who made my upper, they offered to replace it, but now they have closed all locations and left me out of pocket for my upper that was not replaced by them for damages, and never completed my lower, and refuse to call me about it. They have no corporate number to lodge complaints only a call center to which nothing gets resolved by their message board. They also cannot be reached at the number listed on your BBB site
