1 starI joined Credit Associates in May of 2023. They assured me my debt would be paid for at a reduced rate by 2027. I paid them ****** a month and raised that amount to ****** a month about 7or 8 payments ago.Out of my ****** dollars in debt they negotiated with 4 credit card companies and were paying them very small amounts. of money monthly. I was sued by two creditors recently because they never paid tthem a dime. The others are just hanging out there as well. Every time t CA claimed they made an agreement with an outstanding debtor, they asked for more money. I refused. I didn't sign up for that. I asked them "where has all the money gone that I have paid you". Approximately 8.635.00? I was told 1.981.00 was paid to 4 creditors. ******* was paid to the company. That is outrageous . What's left from the total is 2.885.00. The company *************** is returning money left over from my payments that is left which is *******. That is rightfully mine.This company has stolen money from me. They payed themselves *******! They negotiated 4 accounts out of 12. That is since 2023. Something is wrong when a company pays themselves double what they they have done for me. They also breached the contract by moving the finish date without talking to me! I have sent them a certified letter demanding a refund of money paid to them directly. I would assert that anyone considering using this company to help you get out of debt rethink! They have taken advantage of me! The reason I called them was because I became sick with cancer. I needed help paying my debt. They convinced me my amount of debt would take no time at. Certainly not 5 years of taking my money for nothing in return. They are thieves.

1 stari am having the greatest difficulty with credit associates. When I started the account, I opened it up for my father who fell ill with Parkinsons dementia and is now living in this full-time skilled nursing facility and cannot talk. The lady who I open the account with Number no longer works so I was concerned I was scammed. I called the main number to speak to somebody and even though they said they had the *** on file they still said that they were not able to speak with me and demanded that I have my sick father verify the account. I explained to them that he cannot talk and they were not able to give me an information. Meanwhile, Im sitting here wondering if I am scammed or not.Credit Associates, LLC

1 starPaid almost $1700 and only 1 out of 5 cc settled, which was less than that. I paid more so that it could be quicker to pay off by their policy. It still wasn't. After asking to cancel, I was not allowed back in my account. I called and wanted to have a copy of my account, but it was going to take 5 days for them to send me a copy, which didn't match my original account. Then they sent a letter to the cc company saying that they were working on a settlement for me after I sent the cancelation form so the credit card bank closed my account. THEY also charged me for fees after the cancelation.Review fromParis E

1 starI have been working with Credit Associates for a few years getting multiple accounts I had negotiated. I did not have any issues with them until this year. I had a VERY large vet bill that I had to pay and could not afford to make my payment until I got paid next and that was only a week after my bill was due. I spoke with someone on the phone, and they assured me they stopped the payment, and I would just reprocess it once I got paid. The payment went through as normal and it over drafted my account. I called back and explained the situation and they stated that they would process me for a refund for the inconvenience. I never received a refund. I called again in early June to ask the remainder of payments I needed to make in order to close out my account, the gentleman stated that I had sufficient funds in my account in order to close out both accounts and he would process the payoff and would stop all future drafts. I had lost faith in this company, so I called back a week later to confirm that they had processed everything, they did not. I was told that I in fact owed $1,400 more in order to close out the accounts and no one was going to call me to let me know they were just going to keep drafting my account. They charge you a fee every time they make a payment to the Card companies, so I asked them why I have sufficient funds in the account to pay off one of the 2 remaining accounts with sufficient funds leftover to still make payments on the other card. They could not answer my question. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and they said one would call me back in 24 hours. I am very unhappy with this company, and it seems like they are just trying to steal my money, and not one person on their customer care teams has been trained properly.
