      My account matured and I waited over 14 business days for my payout only to have not received it. I have been calling several days only to get an error message when I call from the number associated with my account and its says technical difficulties. If I call from a number not associated with my account it lets me put my information in but then once I do that it says technical difficulties again. My fianc just started an account so I put his information in and waited on hold for a rep for an hour. Only to be told they dont know why my payout is froze and they couldnt help me that I had to send an email and that it takes 2-3 business days to speak with a supervisor. I sent an email 2 help and disputes and no responded. I commented on their fb post and they told me to DM them. I DMd them and no one responded.

      I started a personal loan through self in August of 2020. I even spoke with a customer service representative before starting to make sure it was legitimate. Things went fine all the way up until this morning, 2 years later when my payout is due. There is a large amount of my savings in the cars deposit, which means my payout is about 30 percent of what it was supposed to be! They never told me about this and I'm a single mother who depended on that whole amount! Im livid and confused as to how a company can scam people like this! They don't tell you everytime you increase your credit card limit, your savings decreases and you can never get it back. I'm at a loss here.

      I am rejecting this response because:
       I was filing the complaint because of their loopholes and lack of communication with customers. Reviews on Self can confirm this company does scam people into increasing their limit to reduce amount of payout at the end of term. When I had my credit card closed, the woman did not tell me I couldn't make payments on the balance. Instead they still took $200 off my payout to satisfy the balance on the credit card. Again the lack of communication. Very unprofessional and a blow to my savings as well as others who anticipate a larger amount at the end of their 2 year term.

      I am not liable for this debt with Self **************** and do not have a contract with them. They did not provide me with a copy of the original contract like I asked.
