    I applied to rent an apartment I liked with Kismet Property after I saw that they had an excellent BBB rating.After I applied, and paid the non-refundable $50 application fee, I heard nothing for 2 weeks regarding the status of my application. I finally learned that they had found an issue in my application but it took 2 weeks and going to the office to find that out. I wasnt allowed in the office but a lady was sent to the front door to tell me that. Apparently their emails were not being received in my emails, so I checked in Spam too. No email from Kismet Property. I asked them going forward to communicate with me via text or phone call or use a family members email address, but that never happened. That initial issue was resolved and they restarted review of my application and once again they are not communicating with me or returning my numerous voicemails and its been another couple weeks. Kismet Property has not replied to my numerous attempts to contact them at any point during my application process. I am very disappointed that an A+ rated company with the BBB treats their customers and potential customers this way. And Im very concerned about the type of response I would get if I had any issues as a resident. I gave 1 Star instead of zero stars because the initial sales lady, *****, always was kind and tried to help, but she wasnt the one who could.

We did promptly send you a letter the day we processed your application, October 14, and we sent you the letter again twice via email after you informed us you had not initially received it. Our team is more than happy to work with prospective renters as much as we can, but we must also act equitably in accordance to our policies and criteria. After reviewing information from the property management company you previously rented from, we sent you an additional letter on November 1.     Kismet is overall one of the best realty company I've ever dealt with the people are very quick on responding to any issues I have.They are very understanding when it comes to their communication and customer satisfaction also they make you assured how much they appreciate you as a person almost. 3 years an never had an issue they couldn't resolve I'm a timely manner 5stars for the whole team
