Would leave negative stars if possible. Why does this company still have an A+ rating. Nothing but negative reviews. Terrible customer service. Took them 10+ days to make first contact after multiple phone calls regarding my claim. Went 2 weeks without an automobile waiting on their response to an open and shut hit and run by their insured. Still working through a settlement from this accident after almost 5 months. Last communication demanded that I accept their offer or they would deny payment. I will be retaining a lawyer after being threatened on the last email from them. If you are unlucky enough to have to deal with them, go ahead and get a lawyerits not worth the frustration trying to work with them.

I can't think of a single good thing to say about Sedgwick. Worst customer service. No way to contact a representative if needed. No contact for weeks at a time while waiting on checks to support myself and pay bills. Employees always seem annoyed to have to talk to me, and one of them even yelled at me over the phone. I was told I would receive my first check, already a month late, a week before Christmas. Didn't receive until a week after.Don't ever use Sedgwick. They should be shut down.

This company refuses to honor my claim to pay for the damages to my vehicle even though the driver they ensure hit my vehicle and fled the scene of an accident.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, don't use this company if you can avoid it. I have been working for a fortune 500 company for 6 years and have had to deal with sedgwick a couple of times...with them, it is apparent the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. This company should be out of business the way they operate...If there is a mistake with your paperwork, they deny your claim instead of giving you time to rectify the situation. Every time I have had to deal with this company it has been heartache and headaches.....AVOID THIS ***************

We had a very disappointing experience. Our van was hit by a commercial vehicle that was covered by Sedgwick. It was difficult initially to even get ahold of anyone there. Eventually we were able to make contact (2 weeks?) and it was an absolute mess. They were dishonest and said they appraised my vehicle (I had it with me the whole time and it was never appraised) but couldn’t name by who or when the appraisal happened. Obviously it never was as I was driving my totaled vehicle around town for MONTHS because of how long this process took. While on the phone, I was told she was looking at photos of the inside of my van (Honda odyssey). I asked her to email me the pictures. They were photos of a trashed Toyota sedan…. They only offered me $7600 to replace my van and I sent them pages and pages of comps. They said almost every singe comp was unable to be used even though I followed their instructions exactly. The ones they could use did not change my offer because they use an undisclosed formula to calculate the value and each comp was weighted differently. It was so frustrating. I finally listened to advice of friends and went through my own insurance company (I had worried the subrogation process would be a mess). My insurance company first offered me over $10K for my van, but after they looked at it they fixed it literally in 2-3 days. So Sedgwick could have fixed it initially, or if not should have obviously paid more for the totaled vehicle. They were dishonest and responded SO slowly, sometimes took two weeks to hear back. The only positive is that they didn’t give my insurance company a difficult time in subrogation process. They were probably glad to see they had to spend less than their initial measly offering since the van was fixed at a lower cost. The whole thing was SUCH a headache!!!

Will not return a call and if they do its just to say they are out of the office. They will drag their feet to help at all till all time has expired for getting help !! Terrible customer service, rude and unconcerned about an injury !! Rotten company to have to deal with especially when hurt and in pain !

I intended to have surgery in November 2024 and opened a LOA claim, however, I had to postpone my surgery until 2025. I reported o Sedgwick on ***** at 10:30 AM ET that I would not be taking the leave. The representative told me that she would cancel the claim. No other instuctions were provided to me to do anything else. This cancelation was not communicated to my employer and as a result, my 11/29 paycheck is short by over 1k. I called my HR and they told me Sedgwick needed to take action on their part to resolve. I called Sedgwick, however they are closed on 11/29 and no one is in the office until 12/03 to even address. There is no indication on their website or phone VRU that they are not in the office on *****. They representatves I spoke to was unable to assist me with anything other than an existing claim. If I could have left no stars instead of one, I would have.

On September 18, 2024, a golf ball struck and cracked the windshield of my 2021 ****** RAV4 while parked at the ************************************, next to the *****************************. I immediately reported the incident to the resort staff and handed the ball to employee ****** **********, who acknowledged that the newly installed netting was insufficient and promised follow-up within 48 hours. However, I never received further communication.A week later, ***** ****** from Sedgwick Claims Management Services reached out to me. My interactions with *** ****** were plagued by delays, and despite numerous attempts to contact her by phone and email over several weeks, I received no response. On November 8, Sedgwick denied my claim for windshield reimbursement, citing their inability to identify the specific golfer or ball, even though I had provided the ball to Mr. ********************************** handling of my claim was unprofessional and dismissive, showing a clear lack of accountability. Additionally, the resorts failure to install adequate netting demonstrates negligence and a disregard for safety. The denial of my claim is in bad faith and contrary to California law.

Worse company I have dealt with in my life. I am a firefighter and was hurt in the job, its been over a year and still not approving anything for me to get better. On top of that trying to get paid from them is a nightmare. By far the worse company I have ever dealt with in my life. It should be illegal for this company to be in business.

It takes forever for them to process a claim. It has been two months and I have not received an answer. When I told the adjuster that I want to have my own contractor to do the repairs, they started for finding a reason to reject the claim and yet I do not what would happen.First, their partner contractor came and visited my home. they were ready ro perform the repairs. However, when I told I want to have my own contractor, the cat and mouse game started.Stay away from this company as well as *************** and ***************
