Hello this is about claim 4A240558Q4Y-0001,I have been the run around multiple times, I was transferred to 3 different organizations to work on my damage claim. Sedgwick's employees are rather unprofessional and never respond to emails in a timely fashion (if at all). They do not keep me in the loop about the claim, if they are working on it at all. This company works for my employer for leaves , I went on fmla due to my sexual assault Im currently in therapy getting the assistance I need . This company has received all documents and information and still has yet to pay me for my time out of work . They also allowed me to go to work while I was also on this leave which is illegal. No one contacted me keep me updated reached out or anything ! I spoke with over 20 people every week and no one ever knew anything I had to make them go back and listen to all the calls just for them to approve the days and they still have yet to approve my pay . Sedgwick is practicing predatory and fraudulent attempts to solicit payment from both consumers and insurance companies.Sedgwick is a third-party claims handler for ***** I rented a vehicle from **** on 4/30/2024 at their ***********. The vehicle had existing damage prior to my rental start. This is documented in my pictures and video that I took for my own protection. Additionally, prior to exiting the parking garage, I notified the **** employee checking me out about the damage and he inquired if I had taken pictures/video. I confirmed and he advised us that was all that was needed from our end. After my rental period, I was contacted by Sedgwick via mail and email to file a claim so that they can be paid by my insurer (Amount Noted: $875.56) for the said damage that was already on the vehicle prior to my rental. I provided evidence, as well as witness contact info, to support my statement - however, they refused to contact the witnesses and still claim the evidence I provided does not show any damage. Sedgwick is not doing their proper due diligence in this matter. Throughout all this, I've seen online others leaving reviews of the same situation. This is not the first time they are trying to defraud the public and corporations. For the record, I am fully insured but I do not want Sedgwick to fraudulently bill my insurer, when I am clearly not at fault. My desired outcome is for Sedgwick to close the claim without payment from my insured and to prevent this from happening to other consumers and insureds.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction: 4/17/2023Amount of money: 417.95Business(epicpass.com) committed to provide access to Epic mountain resort for skiing for entire season and one season pass covers the entire open season of 2023-2024. I was charged for 2 passes.Nature of dispute: Due to already having a 2023-2024 season pass for which I paid on 12/04/2023, I asked for refund in person of above amount (which in essence was duplicate billing as I already had a season pass) from employee @ payment ******* counter @ ************, ******************* in April 2023. I was told by this employee to email a request for refund which I did in April 2023. I did not receive any message back. On 7/11/23, I contacted online chat ******* of ***** A name of *************************** appeared and s(he) was able to verify that I had 2 passes on record for 2023-2024 season(I don't need to have 2 passes for one person to ski, *****************, my phone number ************-which she used to look up my account). Also she commented: *************************** says:As per checking with your previous purchase 2023-2024 season, you do have 2 pass. To check the status of your refund request, please visit our website; ************************************************. Scroll to the middle of the page and choose "check status" under the "Personal Event Refund Request" heading. As Sedgwick processes these requests I would be unable to check the status, I apologize.There was no information when I checked under "Personal Event Refund Request" as instructed.She suggested I contact Sedgwick @ **************. Sedgwick representative states that I need to contact Epic Mountain pass for this request.Sedgwick individual at this number states to contact ***** Epic: We already ended the season 23/24. And your pass has already expired.To clarify, I had a 2023-2024 personal season pass which was paid for 4/17/2023 and then another pass for a lesser amount was paid for 12/04/2023. I have filed twice with **** on a property damage claim. When **** buried a fiber optic cable for my neighbor, they tried to bury the cable on my side of the property line. The contractor tore through our 4" corrugated drain pipe that affected about 10 feet. **** advised that their insurance company Sedgwick Insurance would handle the claim. For the first adjuster I call 4 times and they did not return my calls. On the second claim, the adjuster advise to call their team phone number and I have spent over an hour on hold. Secondly **** advised to register on line at mysedgwick.com. I tried that and the site said we are unable to process your registration. This company is totally unresponsive. I attempted to contact *************************, Workers Compensation Claims Associate for Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. on June 12, 2024, and June 13, 2024. I attempted to contact his supervisor ******************* on June 12, 2024. I left messages for both individuals who stated in their messages that they would return phone calls within one day. On my first attempt to contact ****, his message was for the week of May *****, 2024. My first contact was on June 12. I have not heard from either party. I was calling about my husband's ******* compensation from May 14, 2024. I want to know how we submit a claim to Sedgwick to be reimbursed for the compression stocking he needed because of his injury. No one will answer my calls. I want Sedgwick to pay for the compression stocking. It cost $24.56. This company is terrible for helping the consumer. Thank goodness my husband was not in a life-or-death situation because his calls would not have been answered.Business Response

Sedgwick CMS is a third party claim administrator. This complaint arises from a dispute related to a claim ************************* filed against our client, NASB Workers Compensation Pool.
A review of the claim file reveals that Sedgwick CMS has administered this claim in compliance with the laws and regulations governing the alleged loss.

I am writing this complaint in regards to a current ********* compensation claim that started on March 22, 2024 and currently it's been 14 weeks and counting. Since the start of the claim, ********************************* has been my adjuster. She has been acting in bad faith and demonstrating fraudulent intent to deceive treatment and payment. After numerous conversations going back and forth, I have been left to file this claim and seek the help of a lawyer.Iowa Code 85.33 (4) "shall pay the employee weekly compensation benefits (provided ***** is met)"On May 10, 2024 12:52 pm I got my first response regarding indemnity payments. Apparently 2 1/2 years ago, the adjuster calculated the wrong AWW for the claim and now has accrued an over payment of *******. I asked for documentation but never received any documents affirming this item.May 22, 2024 8:57 pm she confirms calculations are done and owes funds to be issued. Nothing.June 14, 2024 9:22 am asked again about weekly benefits.June 14, 2024 11:44 am we have calculations reviewed again and will be issuing a check.As of today, there still has been no communication nor any payments issued.They are claiming Iowa Code 85.34 (4), up to 50% of the check can be used to pay back overage. **** damaged the grade of my lawn when burying their fiber cable. Sedgwick is handling the claim and have been unresponsive with my claim. It's causing more damage everyday and needs to be fixed asap.Business Response
