      Starmcount life insurance under name UNUM scam not starmount life insurance. Cannot contact starmount life insurance. Taking premiums for over 10 years.

      If I could leave no stars, I would. How is this company BBB accredited with all these terrible reviews? I provided them all the information they requested for my FMLA timely, and a month later, they send me a letter telling me I did not provide the information they requested, which is a bald faced lie.

      I filed a claim on 6/11 and was approved and begin 6/20/25, I have still not received any payout and now have not gotten paid for 2 weeks. I keep calling the person over my claim D****** several times and she never returns messages nor explain what is going on. I finally was able to speak to her only because I told the 1-800 people I was not going to hang up until I spoke to someone who can answer my questions. She told me they email my company twice needing information but yet my company never received any emails. They sent over the information on 7/3 I call D****** like she asked to expedite the paperwork but yet nothing, no response to me not phone call.. This is sad instead of my trying to recover having to deal with this, i had to move doctor appts as a result of not being paid..

      I had a customer service rep have several conversations on the phone with me and they never listened to my questions. They ignore you and go around your back to talk to other people in your company first. If I wasn't required to use this company, I WOULDNT.

      This company consistently fails to meet deadlines, delays paperwork, misrepresents non-essential tasks as crucial, avoids accountability, manipulates and refuses to acknowledge errors, and misguides its employees.

      I am submitting this review to report ongoing issues with Unum Vision’s provider network and customer service. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to find any in-network providers who accept my insurance. I contacted seven providers listed in their network, including two recommended by Unum representatives, and none accepted my coverage.
      Furthermore, a provider who contacted Unum directly was told they were not in-network — a claim Unum later denied. This contradictory and inaccurate information has left me without glasses for weeks and unable to use my vision benefits. Customer service has provided inconsistent and unhelpful responses.
      I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance and am seeking resolution. This experience has been deeply frustrating, and I urge others to be cautious.

      Skip payments lie to you terminate benefits without notice generally a very ****** company if any company should have ***** go after them this would be the one.

      After 3 months and hours of gathering info, my claim after being off work was &17.86. They are a rip off company and the worst as they gave no clear explanation when I called to why my payment was so small. I had to have surgery and take several weeks off of work. How insulting and complete waste of my time. They should be shut down for fraud.

      This company does not even deserve one star. They make mistakes and the customer suffers the consequences. They got hacked and one of my payments went somewhere else and they said there was nothing they could do I just did not receive my payment. I submitted paperwork they did not give to right department so I got overpaid and am stuck repaying because of there lack of doing there job.
