1 starI really really wish whomever does research and considering Comdata for their employees PLEEEASE read an LISTEN to us because WE are the common people. We need SIMPLICITY, employees and customers are looking for a card the WILL MAKE OUR LIVES HELPFUL not FREAKING STRESSFUL!!!
I been avoiding comdata for years but I ended up going back to a job and they told me after a month of the hiring process they tells me we're using comdata cards and it has been a nightmare with them. Horrible... Horrible setup with their system, locking you out of your card with no notice, no 24 real person assistance, **** or **** don't mess around with comdata, just a horrible card. Even the chip *****. I believe comdata cards we're created for truckers over the road and I KNOW somewhere there's endless complaints about comdata. I believe it's the company's use comdata receive the benefits but they're a headache always at the wrong time. I was trying to unlock my card yesterday and they were asking for a employee id# that even the company I worked for couldn't find the id number they wanted. It's a horrible service. O stars for Comdata but I think I may have to give them a starComdata Corporation

1 starI didn't choose this company, and I wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone. Donating plasma already comes at a cost to me when I'm trying to help others, so it's easy to say comdata and the plasma companies using their "services" are thieves. You charge me to use the card, you charge me to withdraw my money, you charge for declined charges because of "insufficient funds". It wasn't so bad when I could pull my money for free but this is all bad business. I did find there was an option to transfer money to my bank, but I wouldn't trust them with that. I guess you can risk the $5 instant transfer fee or you can wait multiple days to get your money which isn't an option for many people these days. Sure seems like they are selling card info considering how often money gets stolen, or maybe they're just siphoning it for themselves.
The sad part is the agents have all been great for explaining ridiculous charges, but to tack on the "would you recommend" questionnaire only to deflect the blame on the agents when no one says they would? Abysmal. This is a horrible company, those in charge know what they are doing but only care about lining their pockets. Think about it, $1 charge for every declined charge. Out of how many people that are forced to use these cards, almost all of which are charged .50 cents per transaction, plus decline fees, the 1.50 withdrawal fee. That's outrageous.
This company is only here to steal from you. They are thieves. Avoid at all costs. -5/5 score as far as I'm concerned.Comdata Corporation

1 starOn 3/5/25, I went to ********* to withdraw money from the atm. I needed $500 and the atm machine did not give me the cash. Whenever, I get money out of my account, I always get a message regarding the transaction on my phone. This time a message came across my phone indicating that I withdrew $500. But this was not correct as the machine did not give me any money. I called ComData's customer service and filed a claim and waited the 10 days. I thought things were resolved when I received the $500 back onto my card, but on 4/4/25 they took the $500 from my paycheck. I called ComData's customer service again, but this time they said they couldn't help me. So, I am out of $500. I want my money back and I need BBB to assist me in getting this resolved!Review fromAshley C

1 starI activated my ComData card that *********** *** ****** ********** is FORCING me to use! Today, I want nothing to do with ComData!! Yesterday, I had an issue activating my card. Customer service agent were very rude. Foreign, Asian judging by the accent, which I have no problem with — as long as they provide a good customer service. Agent refused to help me without a 9-digit reference number. They require an 5 digit activation code AND 9 digit reference number. This was a bad very impression on a new customer. ComData agent asked me to call ***********, which helped me activate my card. Today I called in to ask a general question involving the use of a ComData card, can I use it at ATM, does it have a routing number. Agent refused to help bc I didn’t have the 9digit ref no. I said that I THOUGHT the reference number was for activating the card, that I can’t remember a 9 digit no each time I called, asked if I can setup a pin. She said no. I asked for supervisor. The person identified himself as MARK 606 from “escalation dept” was ruder than the first person. I called *********** and asked if I can get a check or use another means of getting mileage reimbursement. They said no, Comdata was the company handling it. So customers are FORCED to deal with some foreign “customer service” agents who must have a different understanding of poor quality service in their country! Logisticare answered all my GENERAL Qs without logging into my accnt, that Comdata insisted on doing to help me. Mark person from “escalation” was extremely rude. Is this is how their supervisor from “escalation”, you can imagine how horrible the first-line agents are. Desperate need of training on the quality customer service that we are accustomed in USA. If I could choose, no way would I do business with Comdata! And I began doing business with them YESTERDAY! That’s how bad customer service is.Comdata Corporation

1 starI am extremely dissatisfied with my experience using Comdata’s ******** Payroll Card, and I feel compelled to share my story in hopes of warning others about the lack of transparency and poor customer service.
I was an election candidate during the most recent campaign, and I received a direct deposit onto my Comdata ******** payroll card on October 31st. On November 2nd, while I was campaigning at an early voting center, I received notifications of several unauthorized transactions totaling $1,300 on my card. Naturally, I was distressed and immediately called Comdata’s customer service.
The first issue arose when I was asked for my card number, which I did not have at the moment. In the midst of a stressful situation, I struggled to recall the number, but eventually managed to provide it. I also filed a police report, reporting the card as stolen.
Customer service advised me that I would need to wait 7 days for the transaction to process before I could file a dispute, which I did on November 11th. At this point, I was told I would need to wait an additional 10 business days for an investigation to be conducted before any refund could be issued. This extended delay was already troubling.
On November 23rd, I followed up with Comdata, and was told to call back on November 25th. When I called this morning, I was informed that my dispute had been denied and that an email with details had been sent. However, I never received any email or notification of this decision. When I inquired about contacting the fraud department directly, I was told they did not have a phone number and could only be reached via email. I was informed that they would submit a request for the email to be "resent," but at this point, I am left with no clear answers.
If you are considering Comdata as a financial service provider, I suggest exploring other options. Based on my experience, I would not trust them to protect my money or provide adequate customer support.Comdata Corporation

***********,
We hate to hear about your experience with our service. We strive to make sure that our departments are able to complete their various jobs through out the day and many do not have publicly posted contact information since they do not interact with customers directly.
After researching your payroll card, we have contacted our fraud department on your behalf.
As a result, a credit has been submitted. Please allow 24-48 business hours for a new e-mail and the credit to appear. If you do not receive the credit, or communication, please send an email to [email protected] using the reference ID of ******** as the subject line.
Thank you for providing this feedback and sharing your experience with us. Have a great day.Review fromBetty N

1 starI have been dealing with their customer service department since the end of August. I have written down names, dates and times and still there is no final resolution. In the 8 times I have called I have only received one callback. In the last 5 calls I have made I always request to speak to a supervisor but oddly I can never speak to the same one it is always someone different with the same response, "your case will be escalated to the fraud department not sure why there is no response yet". At first I was told I would be refunded one amount for the fraudulent charges accumulated then I was told a different amount. I went over the dates and the amounts that were fraudulently withdrawn yet they only refunded me three amounts. Their service is horrible. I should not have to wait this long to get my money returned. I don't understand how a corporation with such poor reviews stays in service.Comdata Corporation
