I made a purchase via Gerber clothing company in February 2023. Said company used a division of FEDEX to deliver my merchandise which I never received. I was in the process of changing addresses and had not my package been delayed by many days, I don't believe the issue would have occurred as the house appeared empty the day of. Upon notification of supposed delivery of the package, I received a blurry picture of an upclose box only. Not the normal delivery pictures where the driver takes a picture of the package sitting on the porch of the house for verification that it's been delivered. I've reached out to Gerber on numerous occasions and they told me they would look into it. I never received any updates from them. I happened to call them back regarding the situation only to be told that they don't go by delivery pictures they go by what the delivery company tells them. So they basically told me that means I had received the package which I have not. Gerber supposedly reached out to FEDEX on my behalf as I was only able to speak with automated assistants on the numerous occasions I tried. FEDEX delivery pictures are supposed to show an exact location of packages once it's delivered to a doorstep. The photo I received clearly does not and I've tried explaining that to Gerber. Yet they've told me that it's not significant. This company has basically refused to resolve my complaint even though the proof is in the picture.Business Response

The proposed solution from the business has already been discussed/and or attempted multiple times via several customer service reps. Their last solution was to contact the carrier themselves because according to them "it is a special division of fedex that we use." I was notified that they contacted FedEx and was told that the package had been delivered despite the deceptive delivery photograph. That's when I was told that regardless of the delivery photo not showing the actual delivery spot/house and or porch it was of no significance because they didn't go by photos.Initial Complaint

I placed an order and when I checked the status of the orders it said delivered . This was not true . The package was never delivered I checked with neighbors then called federal express. I was told gerber used a third party ground shipping and they said to contact the shipper (gerber) I called and sent emails, no one returned my call finally I called and a woman named Vicky answered I told her my package was not delivered and I called federal express and was told to call gerber to file a claim and I wanted a refund.She said she would start a claim and call back in 2-3 days . I called back and the same woman answered i asked about my refund she said she did a claim and federal express said the package was delivered and case closed and that I should have received an email. I explain I didn’t get a email and I’ need my refund I never received any package she became very disrespectful and rude talking over me saying the package was delivered. I explained it was and also there was no proof of delivery and she gave me a number and said call federal express again. I called *** * and gave them the number she gave me . They said it was not a claim submitted only a trace package number. And gerber needs to reimburse me and file a claim. I called gerber back and ask the Vicky lady to transfer me to a supervisor because now this is theft of my money and fraud because she lied and I have not received my package she started talking loud to me and over talking me i asked again to speak to a supervisor or manager she said no. I ask was the call being audited she was screaming yes the calls are recorded. I then ended the call and went to gerber children social media page going to extreme methods to get someone to help me get my refund. Still no one from management contact me or issued my refund. They are trying to make me at fault for their failure delivery and not give me my refund on merchandise I never received. Order#******* . I placed an order on their website on 6/13/23. I placed my shipping address in the appropriate spot while checking out.
Immediately after placing the order with ***** ***, I saw that they used an old shipping address with ***** *** and not the one manually placed on their website. Literally seconds after placing the order, there was no option to cancel the order, so I sent an email to customer service requesting an address change. We received an email back stating they could not change our shipping address or cancel it and that we can return our items for a refund. How am I supposed to return items I will not be receiving since I live in another state? They have refused to give us our money back or to send us the items we paid for.Business Response

My order said delivered but i have not received it. I called the carrier and they said it was GERBER who didnt put the correct address. A customer service agent contact me and i told her what fedex said , she was so rude and very dismissive . She hung up on me without even helping . I then tried calling back several time and no response . I sent several email with evidence (picture proof) and still no sort of resolution!!

My name is **********, and last year I placed a order for a friend who was having a baby. After placing the order it took so long in receiving the order that I called Gerber Baby Customer Service to inquire about my order. And yes the person finally got the order. I call the Company back and told them to please remove my account information and Emil because I wasn’t a very happy consumer. And that I could go to ****** and get it faster. This about my third time calling Gerber Baby Customer Service asking to remove my Emil & Account. I just spoke with Ms. ****** and she said she would Remove my contact information from there on March 2, 2023 @ 10:50 am. And today is March 10th 2023. And why did I get another email from Gerber Baby Clothing stating they we’re have a sale. This is very bad customer Service. And this is why I am filing a Complaint against this Company, because this is harassment. My children are adults. And grandchildren are grown too.Business Response

When i had dispute the transaction with my bank during their investigation they provide me with a credit because the merchant wasn’t cooperating they took their credit back and charge me a $70 overdraft fee along with it and I’m actually in their 3rd investigation with them and the merchant still never provide any refund and they are not cooperating with ** bank also and that’s the reason i reach out to you guys

Customer using 4 different email addresses, placed 5 orders. Two orders did not ship because they were declined by our fraud protection agency. Hey I ordered lots of baby items from Gerbers on January 9th which was $182.32 and I reached out and contacted them on January 13th to tell them I never got my items that I bought which was upsetting because my neighbors even said they didn’t see the package once I checked with them after seeing it said it was delivered. They contacted the carrier and received false info and now refusing to give me my money back jus responding on March 6th that’s very unfair I needed those for my baby I jus had and I’m out of money that I spent in items that I never got, out of all customer service and stores I didn’t expect Gerber to treat a situation like this so harsh my order number is ******* my name is ******** ********Business Response

I placed an order (ORDER #*******) on December 21 through Gerber site. The order showed as delivered on December 26th by ***** but I did not receive the order. On reaching out to ***** about the missing package, I was advised that if no update is received by December 30th , I should reach out to Gerber customer care for refund processing. After several repeated requests to the Gerber customer care, I still haven't received any update. I am told that since a enquiry is opened until it is closed No refund will be processed. I fail to understand this policy as it does not concern me. It is close to 2 months now and as a customer I have not received the ordered products nor the refund. The issue is between merchant and the delivery partner. Moreover the customer care is also not providing any updates which is highly unprofessional. This is the last time I am purchasing anything from Gerber. At this point I just want my money back. This seems to be a pattern with Gerber where the packages are lost and NO refunds are processed even after repeated follow-ups.Business Response

Often times, packages are located after the stated delivery date so we do ask customers to give it a little time, especially with deliveries to apartments and/or condos where there is a leasing office. Packages are delivered to leasing offices sometimes, where customers may retrieve their packages. After a review and since you unfortunately still have not received your package, we have processed a refund for you.
