    May 31, 2022 my husband and I purchased Jeep Wrangler. We were told it just arrived on the lot. When testing driving, the engine light came on. Our sales guy Corey said it still needed to go to the service department and they would fix whatever was causing the engine light to come. I returned the next day for a scheduled appointment with the dealership. They fixed an electrical issue June 1, 2022 with the lights. An appointment was made at Butler for June 26 for the Butler dealership. They said they were sending it over to Butler, a dealership in town that works on Jeeps. An appointment was made and the vehicle was seen at Butler on June 18, 2022. They communicated it was the torque converter and that Stokes told them they will fix it in house. Another appointment was scheduled with Stokes on July 26, 2022. I was provided with a company vehicle on July 26, 2022. During this time ***** ********* was unreachable. I called weekly for updates on the Jeep. I reached out to the GM at this time.on August 24, 2022 My vehicle was driven from Beaufort Sc to my home in Columbia by a stokes employee stating the repairs were finished. Finally it was fixed. Well that was no the case. On January 13, the Jeep left me stranded. Fortunately the parking lot had an auto shop. The mechanic there checked it out for me for free. As soon as he turned the vehicle on he said “that’s your torque converter” and that the transmission may be damaged because of it. Called Stokes and spoke with **** and apparently there is no records stating they worked on my vehicle and there is nothing that could be done. He said I need to keep my expectations realistic. Why are there no records of my torque converter being replaced? Why would they provide me with a company car for a month free of charge if you didn’t have my vehicle? Information is not being disclosed to me!
