This company is terrible. I'm on an injectable diabetes medicine that they automatically processed and shipped. The drug company offers a discount program that when you click online to find discounts on the caremark site it doesn't even come up. With express scripts they automatically found the coupon and applied it for me. Caremark is refusing to reprocess the claim that they automatically processed when the doctor sent in the prescription. This means that instead of paying $25 for my medication, they want me to pay $125 and I simply don't have it. They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The supervisor claimed that the discount program, "is a new experience for us." Seriously! This is a manufacturer program, not good rx. I know that discount programs for drug companies have been around for a long time, for many medication. What they may as well have said is, "we don't care about our customers.".

I received a letter from CVS Caremark on Saturday 5/11/2024 stating that they would no longer fill my prescription for ********. Note that their formulary states that they must give 30 days notice before removing a drug from their list. Two days later, on 5/13, my endocrinologist sent CVSCaremark a prescription for Mounjaro 15 mg. Two days later, on 5/15, CVS Caremark called me to announce that as of that date, they would no longer fill mail order prescriptions for ********, and that I would need to attempt to get refills at a local retail pharmacy. Someone else called again the next day, 5/15, to say the same thing. Both callers claimed that ******** was not in stock due to shortages, that they would never again fill ******** in all doses as pens or in vials via mail order. These were scripted lies. I received my order, perhaps just under their garrote of a wire, on Thursday 5/16. I think the real reason is profits. Its an expensive drug; ******** and recent legislation mandates a mere $50 co-pay for us ******** customers; and the overnight shipping for a nearly 20 pound styrofoam cooler, ice packs, and outer box is probably expensive. CVS Caremark failed to set up protocols to deal with shortages, which, according to the CDCs website, are intermittent and should end by the end of June. Logically, if Mounjaro is available through local retail pharmacies, then CVS Caremark can get it too.CVS Caremarks website has been a disgraceful mess since January 1, when it started covering ******** Part D prescriptions. Lost prescriptions, inconsistent information, a total dearth of information on shortages, and more plague the site, despite numerous, days-long shutdowns for repairs over the past few months. They would rather leave seniors in the lurch, many of whom cannot shop at local pharmacies due to health problems, than solve their appalling poor quality coverage.

I have never posted a review this negative.I am 71 years old.I was a member of CVS ******** Part D prescription plan for years.I recieved a bill for 29 dollars due on May 1.I paid 11 hours later on May 2.CVS Silverscript ended my membership on May 2.I had a prescription for a diabetic medicine. It was denied on May 2.I called Silverscript on May 2.Phone records show 1 hours and 3 minutes.I begged them to reinstate my coverage. On May 7 I sent emails to CVS begging for my medicine.Pharmacy continued to deny my medicines.I think I may be required to re-enroll.I'm on multiple expensive medicines.Re-enrolling would just set off rounds of prior authorizations imposed on busy doctors.Reinstating benefits would be fast and easy.My medical information has been the same for years.Even if I owed CVS money denying life sustaining medicine (I have never posted there's words)is simply corporate greed.Phone records show CVS called me Friday.I returned the call and encountered a run around involving 3 different numbers. I received another call today Monday.Apparently CVS headquarters doesn't work on the weekends. The pharmacy has denied my medicine since May 2.I was turned away without medicines on Sunday May 13.I sent records to CVS by *****.The documents included requesting CVS waive HPPA privacy laws.I hope if CVS responds it will be publicly posted.I do not hold any information confidential.I would be happy to pay Silverscript more money to reinstate coverage.CVS may be operating legally but denial of these medicines involves moral and ethical failure.I am posting this experience to warn other seniors to stay away from CVS Silverscript ******** Part D Prescription Plans.

When you cancel an order, they don't give you the option of reversing that cancel, but instead cancel your PRESCRIPTION! Also, they sent orders to my old address in another state, although I updated my address online. What a crummy website! Their website is a nightmare to navigate!

This is the worst insurance coverage Ive ever had in my life. Ive been taking a diabetic medication for over a year and now theyre telling me I cant get it anymore because my A1C is in a normal range. What do they think helped with that? Forget the fact that a certified doctor says I need it. What a joke!

The worst. Every time. Always some kind of problem. They run you around and never actually solve the problem. In each communication they state " The timeliness of your medication delivery is of the utmost importance." but that could not be further from the truth. If I had the choice I would not use their services. The stress of having to deal with them every month is almost has bad as the condition I need the Rx for!

ABSOLUTELY TRASH, I seriously cannot stress this enough, if you need medication DO NOT USE CVS CAREMARK. they wont fill it then they also wont tell you that they didn't fill it, they wont even tell you if they cancel the prescription. All in all they are one of the most unprofessional healthcare services I've ever used. No communication and they also cant even do the one service they provide so seriously save yourself the time and hassle because its not worth it. PUBLIX PHARMACY IS 1000x better

CVS Caremark is without a doubt the worst online pharmacy on the planet. Every time my provider sends in a refill prescription they flag it as a new prescription. Then on top of that they automatically bill and ship anything that is sent in to them, be it a new prescription or a refill, whether you are ready for it or not. My prescription panel is so screwed up, with no way to fix it. It really is frustrating. I have orders way back in December of last year that show on hold, that never should have been there. Some with medications I no longer use that have been archived yet still show up every time. The customer service is absolutely terrible to deal with, and it seems that it takes days and days every time I need to place an order for them to get things right. It takes a minimum of 4 phone calls and many times 6 or 8 to get my order billed out correctly and shipped, and its never on time. If it were not for my insurance forcing me to use this online pharmacy, I would never ever use them again.

I've tried four times to fill my prescription and have gotten nothing but technical failures and excuses. First they sent me an email and told me I was ordering too soon (false). The next day they sent an email telling me to try again, but their website locked down and I could not add what I needed to my cart. When I got on the phone, the rep claimed my credit card had expired (false) after keeping me on hold for 25 minutes. The next time I tried, their representative claimed the system wouldn't accept my credit card info tapped out on my phone, and that she couldn't enter the number manually herself.Do not use this service.
