  On April 23, 2023, I received an email from Govplus saying my *** status needed renewal. The email said it would be $97 which I paid via credit card. I went to use the *** and was told I needed to pay for it, that it was not paid for. *** said it was a scam and that I needed to file complaints with the Federal Gov. and the credit card company which I have done.

  We made an effort to contact you today, November 7th, at 1:30 PM EST via phone, with the intention of discussing your concern privately. However, we were not able to reach you and therefore, we left a voicemail instead. Please know that you can contact us anytime through our website's "CONTACT US" tab.
  
  Regarding your statement about receiving an email from GOVPlus, it's important to clarify that we do not send unsolicited emails. You initiated your *** PreCheck Renewal application voluntarily on April 21, 2023 and an email was sent to you on the same day instructing you to activate your account so you can track the status of your *** application on your personal dashboard while your application was undergoing a review to determine your eligibility.
  
  The only email communication we sent to you regarding your *** PreCheck Renewal occurred on May 29, 2023. In this email, we informed you that we had manually retrieved your Known Traveler Number (KTN) as it was not initially provided in your application. We also let you know that you were eligible to proceed with the online renewal process, which cost the mandated government fee of  $70. This fee is not for our software but for the mandatory government fee. According to our records you were able to open the email but never responded to it. 
  
  The $70 fee is an essential requirement for all eligible online renewal applications for *** PreCheck, and it is charged directly by the **** Ensuring transparency in all our transactions, we display a clear disclaimer on our payment page that explicitly states "Government fees are not included." Just in case you skipped over it this disclaimer is prominently positioned below the payment amount in bold, serving to inform our customers about the associated fees as they proceed.
  
  In addition, the one-time software fee of $97 is dedicated to providing you with access to our patented software. This software encompasses our autofill technology, making it effortless to complete government forms with just a single click. It also covers the entire process of filling out application forms, ensuring the accuracy of your application data, and granting you access to your personalized customer dashboard. This dashboard is thoughtfully designed to allow you to submit various other forms we currently offer and may introduce in the future. Furthermore, we take pride in offering several additional features of no charge, including swift and responsive customer service assistance for all our services, both existing and forthcoming. It's worth noting that our internal testing has consistently shown our customer service to be notably faster, aimed at delivering efficient and effective support. Also, please know that we offer many other product, not just the *** product, that can now be completed in a single click.

  We highly prioritize customer satisfaction and based on your review, you do not see our value at this time. We have processed a full refund of $97 your charged account today, November 7th, 2023. Our refund process is real-time but please allow 1-3 business days for the refund to appear in your account, as bank processing times may vary. An email containing the refund confirmation details has been sent to you, and we can confirm its delivery and the email being received and acknowledged at 3:48 PM EST. We believe we have effectively addressed your concern and resolved the matter. We consider this matter to be fully resolved and closed.
