Waste of money this company tries to claim they process passport applications online and then all they do is send you some stupid kit that is of absolute no value. First off, I am not even eligible to renew my passport application online due to it being over 15 years. I entered my passport number and GovAssist went ahead and acted like I was eligible and took my money. After finding out I paid 300 dollars (for me and my husband) for essentially a stupid pen, I then go the correct government site. I entered the SAME passport number and was advised straight-away I cannot renew online. However, you figured you would scam me didn't you. You are also falsely mimicking yourself as an official government site. What a rip off! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.Business Response

On 03/17 I paid for passport renewal services. They charged me over $250 to send me a quick filled out copy of a passport application and then I never heard from them again. I have followed up multiple times the other day requesting to cancel and a refund and have gotten no response or acknowledgment. I would have never applied for a passport via .com website. The ending suggests that it is a business and not the government. I needed to get a passport renewed with **************************. They gladly took my personal info and a credit card charge of ******. However, when I tried to submit a picture, it would not accept any picture ( over 40 attempts, including 2 professional pictures).y This appears to be a scam that I reported to my credit card company. I placed a legitimate Governmental website address in my browser and without my knowledge ended up on GovAssist site with the fill in forms. I filled it out, and though it seemed a much higher price for my passport renewal, I gave my credit card. Still unaware I had been scammed by a company and not rightfully renewing with the ******************* I immediately got an email asking me to upload my picture but the email had no heading and no name associated with the email.
