    My rental was supposed to had been 9/28/2024 (1:30am) to 9/30/2024(1:30am)Me and my family arrived at the Next Car location around 1:30am or so and we had originally reserved a Jeep and come to find out the Jeep they were going to provide us, they couldnt find the keys and then that same Jeep was not there Jeep to begin with.Its already 2am, were tiered and just want to make it home and the front desk clerk offers another vehicle in place of the Jeep and I said sure anything works at this point in the early morning.We finally get the car around 2:30am and leave. Not even ************************************************************************************* them with us. (Very funky smell) but its late and kids need to sleep. Now about 30 min into our drive, here comes NEXTCAR little creatures (roaches) and at that point Im very upset because that is disgusting! But have no choice but to continue home. We went to sleep and woke up the a few hours later and drove to **** and I picked up another car and proceeded to return this rental back to its nest(NextCar). We only lasted with the car approximately 10hours if that and 6-7 of those hours (3-10am) we were sleeping.While at Next car, I asked at the counter to speak to a supervisor / manager and they told me his name was ******* and I explained it to him and he stated that he would take care of it and issue a full refund, because of this situation come Monday and not to worry because I was getting a full refund. He was very courteous and understanding and quickly offered another car but I mentioned to him that I had already picked up one at **** rental. Now, my credit card was charged $369.00 by NEXTCAR and I haven't received any refund and futher more the deposit is included in that amount. Its outrageous!!!I proceded to send multiple emails until I finally got a hold of a manager who was and is helpful (Ms ****** but she referred me to *** ******* who is the site manger and he has not refunded my money.

    Attached is a screenshot of the last email I received after I mentioned I was going to file a complaint with the BBB.

    MS ***** has been spot on with her responses and is the only one concerned about this situation.

    The real issues falls on Mr ******* (manager) who barely responds to my emails and lacks on communicating. Ive spoken with him on the phone 2-3 times and he has excuses ready to go when Ive asked about my case.

    I reserved a car rental using a third party called Priceline, I paid $255.63 plus $91 for collision total cost of $346.63. But ********* offers there own collision insurance so they only took the $255.63. Once I got to the Next Car rental place I had additional services added such as ezpass access and there own car insurance came out for a total of $597.31 Plus an additional of an $250 deposit which i haven't received. So a total of $852.94.

    I booked a reservation with NextCar rental cars through ****** (a third party booking agency) for our trip to **. When booking, we declined rental car insurance, as our personal car insurance covers rentals. I selected a car pickup time of 4-6PM, as our flight was originally meant to land at 430P. Our flight to ******* was delayed 1.5 hours (we were sitting on the tarmac as they did maintenance to the plane). Upon arrival at 5:45P, I called the Nextcar representative , *****, and he picked us up in the shuttle and drove us to the office location. Once at the office, ***** stated he needed to charge us another $150, for insurance. We stated we did not need or want it as our personal insurance already covers rentals. ***** was then saying the charge was because ****** cancelled our reservation since we were late for pick up- even though he picked us up right before 6P. I knew that was false because ****** would have no way to know that our flight was delayed. I proceeded to call ****** on speaker phone for ***** to hear when they clarified that they indeed did not cancel our reservation. ***** continued to say that ****** was not releasing the money to him, which was also disproven by the ****** representative who said as soon as we book, the money is released to Nextcar. We felt we were being scammed for more money, as he wouldnt provide us with a car until we paid him an extra $150 after already paying $250 to ****** for the reservation. We decided to leave, stranded in the ******* heat with our baggage and infant with no vehicle. I later called NextCar to sort this out and the woman on the phone was extremely rude upon hearing my explanation, and proceeded to hang up on me. Before hanging up, she said that the extra charge was for an upgrade because they gave the car that I booked away since we were late, which made no sense since we werent late, and we were told two other reasons to be charged- 1. for insurance and 2. Because ****** canceled the reservation.

    Rented a car from ************ location on 01/27/2024. In addition to the car rental charges I was charged a deposit which has not been retuned/re credited to me despite multiple phone calls and attempts to have this resolved. Agreement # ******

    I scheduled to rent a car from NEXTCAR on 11/17/23 on their online website for ****** for the rental agreement. Within the fine print of the agreement it states that if you don't cancel the agreement within 48 hours NEXTCAR will keep the money regardless if you can't rent the car. I came on the day of the rental and explained i could not rent the car and the management told me it would be credited back to my account. I got it charged in my December billing and had to file a dispute in which NEXTCAR submitted the information from the website even though they knew i didn't rent the car on the day and their management at the store in ********* notified me in person that it would be put back on the card. I went home and destroyed all the paperwork thinking that the problem was resolved. Today, when i called to find a hopeful resolution with the company help service staff, they informed me that the money is non refundable even though i never rented the car. I believe that there advertising on the website is deceiving and the management staff poor because now i had to pay for a rental car that i never rented.

    I made a prepaid reservation ($231.09) with NextCar rental at *************** International Airport to pick up a car at 4 pm on 12/28/23. Upon arrival, I was asked for my driver's license, credit card, and proof of insurance. I told the attendant that my credit card provides insurance coverage and I also have my car rental. The attendant asked to speak with the insurance company and said everything was fine, but I must take their liability insurance, and if I didn't, I would not be able to pick up the car. I refused and asked to speak with a manager. The attendant left the station and attended to another customer. I waited for about an hour and no one came. I eventually left and made a new reservation with Thrifty. This entire operation appears to be a fraud and should not be exploiting customers.

    When I went to pick up vehicle I was told $100 total for my rental. When I entered the vehicle it was disgusting and dirty, I mentioned it and nothing they can do. I accepted it. I asked specifically how much is it for a lost key, the representative said $500.00 I look at my statement and see a charge of $1000 and all they can say is, its $800 for lost key nothing we can do. *** asked for a contract signed by me showing such charge agreement and nothing has yet to be sent. They stole over $400 from me without reason. Lastly, I want my $100 back as well for the rental since it wasnt what I was promised originally! A clean car.

    I went to PR for vacation and was charged $219 online for the rental car total. Then when I arrived they told me I had to pay 10+ fees which racked up to $370 in total. So not only did I already pay $219 but now I was told at I was going to pay $370 plus $250 deposit. I agreed to it but when I got back from vacation they charged my card $565 and when I called they hung up on me 7 times and then finally gave me a managers number and he was extremely rude and said I dont have the contract right now Ill have to call you back later. They have not called me back and still have my money I do not know what to do

    On September 29, 2023 I picked up a rental vehicle around 1am. I was originally suppose to have the minivan but the ****************** said it was broke down and he was putting me into an suv for the same rate. When it was time for payment he told me that the rental was a $300 deposit and the rental was $301.36. He said he could only put $50 of my deposit on the card and the rest had to be paid in cash. I asked him about my rate because it was suppose to be the same as the one renter and he changed it due to it needing repairs. I also asked about my military discount and he assured me everything would be taken off when we returned the vehicle. I paid him $250 cash. I asked for a reciept and he said we would have to come back in the morning because he corpulent give the company copy which I thought was weird. But after traveling a night and having 4 kids we were ready to go and tired. We stayed in ********* so we weren't close to return the next day. He assured us everything woukd be handled. The day we returned the car, they didn't refund any of my deposit. It's been a week and no contact from the manager. I've emailed him several times. I am owed $300 and it hasn't been returned. The employee, ***** had access to my personal information and bank cards. I left *********** on 10/3. My card was charged 10/7 for a hotel in ************ so I think the employee stole my credit card number and paid for a hotel. We stayed in an airbnb which was fully paid for so now I feel like your employee cheated me out my money and stole my card information and my information was not secured and I want this handled Agreement number ******

    "They are forcing me to purchase additional insurance, even though I already have sufficient coverage with my current insurance company. If I don't comply, I forfeit the amount I paid for the car rental. Furthermore, they don't provide any information about the car's condition. They file claims for damages that were already present on the car. Additionally, their employees do not speak English clearly. This appears to be a major scam, pressuring customers into buying unnecessary products without clear disclosure of what they're purchasing, ultimately inflating the overall cost." If they see damages they need to file a claim with my insurance. They took the information and policy number.
