      Allied Car Rentals is a SCAM!! They tried to charge me an extra $400 3 DAYS AFTER I LEFT. I called and asked for an explanation and they said my reservation was canceled and we agreed upon a different rate, TOTAL LIE. I wouldn't have been able to pick up my car had it been canceled. I had my receipt and so I asked for one of the charges, it was the SAME receipt with the SAME charges, just at COMPLETELY different rates. They also sent me someone else's receipt with their HOME ADDRESS and PERSONAL INFO. The billing department has been ignoring my emails since I told them this and asked for an explanation as to why they are trying to charge me more than we agreed upon. LYING FRAUDS

      On 3-18-2023 we rent a car on Allied Car Rental at *********. Our contract number was ******. When we made the reservation we choose an economy car which was a ****** Corolla or comething similar. We received an old ******* Accent that was not in optimal conditions. That was the only available car there so we had to take it. The day before the return the engine light turn on and a burn odor was smelles. I called the company and were there like an hour waiting the decission of your company to pick up the car. The employee told me to drive the car like that to the rental office because ther was not a towing available. I told the lady that I would drive the car lik that to the rental office but the responsibility would be on her and the supervisor. When we arrived at rental office the supervisor check the car and erase with a computer the engine light. He explained us about some mechanical issues. I had to continued with the car because there was not any car available to change. Next day the engine light turned on again and we returned the car. Also I used the toll label one day but has been charged for the remaining days of the rental because is a companys policy to do it. How would you charge 7 days of tall when we used just one day? This is a very shame way to take persons money. With this experience we will not rent anymore a car form Allied and Priceless. The experience was very bad since the beggining of the process.

      Travelers be cautious! If I can give zero stars I would. Arrived at reception and employee was sleeping in back office, after 15 minutes waiting she came to the front and stated person in charge is out of the office and would return soon. We waited for over 1 hour. When the employee shows up he advised me that the reservation was canceled by allied because we didn’t arrive by scheduled time of pick up, this was due to a flight delay. I was offered a new rental but I had to book through online booking only. The catch, the price would be doubled from $700 to almost $1,200. for the same car and dates. We had to take an Uber to our destination, we were informed by the Uber driver that many rental car companies are doing the same thing to tourists and visitors. The next day while picking up my rental I was told that the insurance was an additional cost of almost $450. and no other options are offered. Most travelers are not even aware that their CC offered rental insurance and I witnessed two young travelers being asked to pay the additional insurance coverage instead of being advised that the CC may offer rental coverage. And purchasing coverage through online sites is not acceptable by the rental companies. Luckily I was able to get a new rental through another car company for the next day for $350.00 for the 8 days and I had to email a copy of the CC insurance coverage to avoid pay the additional $450. Insurance coverage they offer.

      Poor customer service. Made us wait for 4 hours + after a long flight with no explanation or apologies. Threatened to cancel our reservation if we left their parking lot. The place was both understaffed and overbooked.

      Horrible experience from beginning to end! Rented through ************* website. Rented for week Dec 13-20/2022. Rep. claimed my car was older than 2017 so MY ins. was unacceptable (ins agent said different), my credit card was an issue bc rep didn't recognize credit union, had to call **** to verify rental coverage. Was given a different car than what was assigned. Turn in day, *** stated my bill was emailed and 250 security released, checked email bf leaving premises to airport, they charged me 350 for a lost key! Never happened!! Went back in to dispute rep stated I had to call # on contract. I immediately called # ,explained charges were wrong and I wanted a correction and new receipt w/ correct charges. Was told the claims **** would review my complaint and get back to me. They sent me an email bill of ******. I called my **** co. explained what was going on trying to freeze my acct until the bill was corrected. On Dec 23, Allied charged ****** to my card. I've been calling everyday since Dec 20th and have been hung up on, put to a voicemail box that is full. Sad thing is I rented from them in Oct, had no problems, rep took all my credentials, checked in/out w/no problems and charged correctly. I feel they need to be investigated bc the complaints/ reviews ( read afterwards) are to severe to be ignored!

      ******* If I could give a negative star review I am so disappointed with Allied Car Rental Car, I was quoted a price of $ ****** for one week. After returning the car rental, They add extra taxes & free $ ****** that was never told or listed on website . I have tried to reach you several times without no successful response I would never recommend this place be really careful!

      They are not worthy of any stars from my behalf.. paid my rental in advance in Expedia , got to PR and they did not have a car ready for me.. a wait of 3 hrs so they can hand me a car.. and at all this Im with my 81 yr old mom. My $ 300 rental and every that was added came up to $1,013.23. Ridiculous charges for tolls that were used 2 times to come and go. Plus fees even for breathing.. the lady at the desk had a nasty attitude. Is this how a customer should be treated. At all this had to put air on the tire every time I had to use it. They have a star because I had to put it.. not because I wanted??

      Place is a SCAM! They have their tactic well planned on how to scam customers. I made my reservation through priceline, when I got to the counter, Rep. said "you just made this reservation "..I said "No, reservation was made weeks in advance"...then I already knew that he was going to try and get more money out of me. Rep. then proceeded with the costs of tolls and Insurance..so my $500. car reservation was up to $923. (Tolls, Insurances, taxes and fees) I then told the Rep. that I will be using my own insurance like I always do when renting a car in PR. He then asked what year was my car, and when I said 2015, he said they can't accept insurance for cars older than 5 yrs. When I asked where does it say that in writing, he says its on their Website and coworker who stands around the counter unfolds a piece of paper and shows it to me, obviously he was prepared, such a SCAM! The wording on that policy was not clear on the policy of 5 yrs and I mentioned to the Rep that was not written on the policies on Priceline. I then asked to speak to a manager, Rep said it will be half an hr wait, thinking I will refuse to wait. I asked him to call his manager and tell him the situation and an exception had to be made. He called the manager, walking away from the counter, very fishy! They gave me the run around, he then said manager gave me a choice to take insurance from my credit card but I'll have to pay $15. A day for collision. I refused! Made no sense! I asked to speak to the manager, Rep called him for the 3rd time, after the back n forth with manager(Diego) for about 10mins, he then asked me what kind of car i have, after i told him he said he will make the exception this one time and let me use my own insurance since my car is more of value than the one he's renting me, SCAM! Then when I get the car, its dirty! It was replaced, but left still unsatisfied. Also noticed how they passed the dirty car to the next customer. I don't recommend this place. It's a SCAM!
