      Allied/Routes Car Rentals Review:Our experience with Allied/Routes Car Rentals was extremely disappointing and unsafe. To begin with, we waited 4.5 hours to pick up our rental car because there was only one person checking customers in. The manager was unhelpful and unprofessionalhe simply walked around and told anyone who complained, If you dont like it, then leave. Unfortunately, leaving wasnt really an option, as the reservation was non-refundable due to online prepayment.Once we were on the road in ***********, we encountered a rainstorm. The car handled so poorly that it felt like we were *********** on the highway. When we finally reached our destination, I inspected the tires and discovered that the front tires were completely dry-rotted, and the passenger-side tire had zero tread. This is incredibly dangerous. Despite the car only having ****** miles on it, the tires were clearly old and used, putting my familys safety at serious risk.This level of neglect is unacceptable. I have photos to document the condition of the tires.

      The car rented is not what I received. The car seats were stained and dirty. No way could I fit family that I was shuttling back and forth to Rincon. Staff was rude once my son in law rented a bigger car with a different rental for me. Upon arrival it was the same building as the small car. It was now 7 days and family was arriving for my retirement party. I was told I could not rent the bigger car once I provided the keys to the rental. The contract was taken back and voided and keys to the first car demanded. I informed I did not want two cars I was returning the smaller car. I called everyday for 6 days told yes they have bigger cars when told I would stop in the story would change. No cars and I could not speak with a manger to get credit since he was in the hospital. As a Puerto Rican American young men made racial slurs against Americans my husband is Irish American. I was called a liar and they were humiliating their female coworker while she seemed to be training. I was wrongly over charged and surprise a 250 deposit they inform they have no idea when you will get it. We were told to go elsewhere The hate and bullying experienced was sad that I experienced this. At the end seems someone was called miraculously the manager arrived from the hospital. Also upset mean face informed of credit for compact car. Indicated I could not have two of the cars offered. Seemed they have a conflict of interest with multiple third party rental. So then I was given a 2025 8 passenger van gasoline almost empty, I took a picture.. This location should have live streaming cameras. The manager was shown my out going call daily as he requested. As showed a text to the worker that called a 65 yr old QA specialist a liar and talked back to me in front of the manager. Employee with a screw driver playing with female who overcharged me while other had their heads down sleeping. They do not care to work and pick and choose whom to service.

      On January 12th 2025 I rented a car from Next Car. The car was returned January 16th 2025, The contract was not closed until January 26th 2025. As of today April 17th 2025 the refund of ****** dollars has not been returned. I HAVE CONTACTED THE OFFICE ON A WEEKLY BASIS SINCE FEBRUARY BECAUSE I WAS TOLD IT WILL TAKE 10 TO 15 DAYS. ALL I AM TOLD IS THAT CORPORATE IS MANAGING THE REFUND. PLEASE RETURN MY REFUND!

      Waited in line for 2 hours just to get our car. **************** *** was rude and combative. Vehicle was not what we ordered, it was dirty, wrecked and the brakes made a loud noise every time you touched them. When we asked about all this, we were told this is normal and how they do business every day.

      Unfair and what I categorize as unlawful business practices. I booked a compact vehicle to be rented an SUV. I was charged ridiculous fees including a $209 fee for tolls for 12 days. Unfortunately, in a minor accident, an individual bumped the rental from behind, causing a dent in the trunk. Although I wasn't at fault and a report to the police was submitted by the guilty party and I and a claim to the person's auto insurance was also submitted, Allied charged an unauthorized amount of what they call a deductible of $750 for the medium-sized vehicle, again I wasn't honoured with the compact I had booked which would"ve cost $500 instead. and ***** had also purchased an insurance for the rental. The manager wouldn't hear my concerns and wouldn't even acknowledge me. I WILL NEVER RENT from that company again.

      I, am going through exactly what ******** V is going through. Rented in PR and was charged ridiculous fees. Have been waiting for my deposit since December. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE COMPANY! NEVER HAVE I HAD ISSUES LIKE THIS.

      BEWARE I RENT A CAR IN ************ FROM ALLED *********************************** FOR $32.00 FROM PRICELINE WHEN I PICKED UP THE CAR THEY ADDED ALL THE TAXES NOT A PROBLEM BUT THEY ALSO ADDED A ENERGY RECOVERY FEE,VEHICLE LIC.FEE AND AIRPORT CONC.REC FEE WITH THE EZPASS THE TOTAL WAS $87.00 WHICH I AGREED TO PAY. BUT HERE THE PROBLEM THEY CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD A DEPOSIT OF $250.OO WHICH WAS TO BE ON HOLD UNTIL I RETURN THE CAR THIS WAS A ONE DAY RENTAL DEC.18 RETURN DEC.19,2024 AS OF TODAY JAN 31 2025 THEY HAVEN'T RETURN MY DEPOSIT I CALLED THEM MULTI TIME THEY SAID IT TAKES 15 BUSNISS DAY FOR THE RETURN FROM THE DATE OF RENTAL. I've PUT A DISPUTE WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY STILL WAITING FOR THIS CHARGES TO BE RESOLVE. SO RENTER BEWARE THIS RENTAL COMPANY IS SCAMMING CUSTOMER.RENTED ANOTHER CAR FROM HERTZ IN ************ NO ISSUES DEPOSIT WAS ON HOLD AND NOT CHARGED AND NO EXTRA CHARGES ADDED TO THE RENTAL 5 STAR TO HERTZ RENTAL AT ********************

      Simply put- Breathtakingly dishonest with no integrity whatsoever. Almost impossible to reach on the phone and if you do- they will hang up if you have any questions or concerns. Charged additional monies that we were not prior informed of - but knew we could not go anywhere else as it was the middle of the night after delayed flights caused us to arrive late. Con Men posing as car rental company. Should be looked into as they are ripping people off with impunity with zero consequences. Every prior review says the same thing- what needs to happen in order to reprimand them and make this company accountable for their complete disregard of accepted business practices??? Disgraceful - MJF

      Worse experience ever. Message * My name is Ulises Medina, I recently rented a vehicle from you San Juan Puerto Rico location and was taken for a total of $1230.05 for a three day rental, respectively I wish to be contacted in an effort to be reimbursed for the overage pricing. I attempted to resolve the concerns with the manager Nadia. She wouldn't listen to the facts and instead that I pay no mind to my American Express realized billing which I had on my tablet. She was not attentive to my concerns of being double billed. The entries on the computer were modified in an effort to support the agencies position. I have copies that show the truth. Please accept the narrative as an official complaint. These decisions and how they handle transactions seem to be s\border line illegal. PLEASE REACH OUT !

      Allow low fares to be rented online but then, when customes are picking up the car, they add the insurances Yes or Yes. Reservations go on the spot from $200-$300 to $500-800. They say they have no option but we found Sixt car rental very close to then that accepted our *************** from the ************* so did not force us to buy their insurance so we returned the car to Allied and saved money even adding my wife as a driver, we paid a lot less.On top of that, car smelled to cigarretes.
