1 starMy CO alarm was beeping today (10-10-24) and when I called them they said they have to send a technician out to fix it, The earliest they can send is in about 8 days ************** the meantime they cannot stop the beep from the alarm. This is horrible service, I have a yearly monitoring and maintenance contract with them and I have to live with that beeping sound for 8 days and no protection for those 8 days.Guardian Protection

1 starDuring my time with guardian protection, the equipment insatlation of equipment was well performed and also the equipment worked well for us.However, we now relocate out of state and requested to terminate our service contract (already over 3 years in) and we need to pay the full residual monthly payments (over USD 1000). It is not ok treating customers this way for a product that should be cosidered utility. We paid for the equipment upfront so that argument is also not inplace. No other option has been provided by Guardian.Terrible form of customer service.Guardian Protection

Hi Gijs,I am sorry for the frustration. Guardians authorized dealer consulted with you on your security challenges and handled all aspects of the sale, including the cost of the installation and negotiation of the terms of the Sales and Installation Agreement and five-year Monitoring Agreement. Guardian has provided 24-hour a day monitoring of your system by the trained specialists at our UL-certified monitoring centers including alarm signal monitoring and notification to first responders on your behalf when emergency situations arise, based on protocols that you have established for this. These services were formalized through the contract signed by you and the dealer, defining services to be provided, rates, your five-year term, and obligations. The contract identified all conditions such as an early termination fee that may apply if you wish to cancel prior to the end of your initial contract period, which is July 2026. Your satisfaction is important to us. I escalated your issue to our Loyalty Liaison who reviewed and followed up with a personal call to you on October 10 to discuss. She has offered to check your account periodically for the next 30 days to see if the new buyer signs up for the Guardian system at your home in which case she will release you from your agreement. If this does not occur and since you are moving to an area that Guardian does not service, our liaison offered you a significant reduction on your early termination fee . This consideration is available to you for the next 30 days. Notwithstanding the fact that there are still 21 months remaining on your agreement, a sincere effort to resolve your issue is being made, as indicated by the options that Guardians Loyalty Liaison has made available to you. 1 starGuardian Security does unethical business. We recently moved 1350 miles away, in another time zone and Guardian isn't available there and I was toldJuly 19th when I tried to cancel my service I was told there's a $1200 termination fee. I wasn't told this upfront, just got a copy of the contract today ( August 20th ). If I still lived anywhere in ***** I would have taken the system to our new residence and still be using it despite the doorbell camera only working half the time ( it wasn't working when my truck was stolen Jan 10th 2024 ). The deadbeats that bought the house haven't called to put it in their name either. I always heard ***** loves their Veterans when we lived there but this Veteran has been ripped off quite a few times while living there, part of many reasons why I moved out of state. I haven't paid the fee yet and shouldn't have to when you move 1300 + miles away and there's no Guardian Security where I live even if I wanted their poor service. Don't do business with them if there's a chance you may leave the so called great state of *****Guardian Protection

Since then, I understand that you and she have spoken in detail; that she has provided you with a full understanding of the agreement that was signed, the costs incurred by Guardian relative to the sale and installation of a new security system, and how these affect early termination of an agreement. In addition, as part of our commitment to customer satisfaction, she was able to secure you a reduced early termination fee and offer you a payment plan which you found to be favorable. 1 starI was having an issue with the doorbell camera, so I called customer service. During the call, they asked if I was willing to extend my contract with them in exchange for a discount to install an outdoor camera. They scheduled me for an appointment on August 16, from 8 AM to 4 PM, so I took the day off from work. However, around 2 PM, someone called me to reschedule my appointment for today. I ended up waiting for six hours for nothing. I regret signing the contract extension because this company clearly doesn't care about its customersonly about making money.Guardian Protection

1 starAfter over 20 years having their service they keep sending me technicians that have no clue on what they're doing and then when they have to come back they want to charge me $75 every 15 minutes plus parts even though it is their fault that they have to be here don't buy from this company don't use this serviceGuardian Protection
