    I parked in front of my apartment complex moving things into my car and came back with boxes to put in the car to find my car gone. Called around trying to locate my car cause I was moving that weekend only to find out they towed my car stating I was parked in a fire lane. The signing is illegible and they have no markings on the street that says it's a fire lane. I have a permit in my car to park in the lot. An **** ride and $205 later I got my car back.

    I was accidentally parked in a private lot for about three minutes . The towing company who was sitting in the lot saw me get out of my car-didn't tell me I was parked illegally. Hooked the tow truck up to my car, my car was never moved when I came out of the store. The ***************** told me I can only pay $200 in cash. After I paid 200 cash, they gave me a 26 dollar PPA ticket.

    My car was towed on private property in my apartment complex parking lot with a permit sticker in my windshield. I went down to george towing company and I explained to the man who worked there that my car did have a permit sticker and why was my car towed , he was very rude and nasty and still told me i had to pay $205 afterr seeing my permit sticker on my car ..he told me since my sticker was peeling off i still had to pay

    On 10/16 I was called on my cell phone by George Smith towing telling me to come outside and pay the driver $200 to take my car off of the tow truck; I was not blocking a driveway like he said I was; he said cash or venmo, so in a panic I venmoe'd him. He is a convicted felon with outstanding gun charges from the Philadelphia gun violence task force. Somehow he had my phone number?? There was no sign for his company by the overhanging door; and no curb cut for a drive way - upon researching online there are hundreds of complaints about this company.

    9-27-2024 George Smith Towing illegally stole my 3 tractors and 1 trailer from a private parking yard , hid my equipment throughout the city of ************, refused to allow me access to make sure my stuff was not damaged before payment, demanded $8000.00 , still. refuse access to my equipment and have been very rude in communication, this company has a track record as a ******* private tow company with numerous legal judgments against them for this very stuff,, to date i do not have my vehicles back

    On the evening of August 9th 2024 at some time between 5:33 and 7:22PM, my gray 2021 ******* Elantra was by George Smith Towing *** towed before informing the police from a spot on the east side of ************** south of Master St.The spot is poorly marked with 2 signs obscured behind a chain link fence and graffiti.@7:24-7:28PM, I called their listed business number 3 times with no answer. My wife *********************************** also called between 7:42-8:04 and left a voice message. We never received a return call.@7:35PM, I called the Philadelphia Police 26th District to inquire about my vehicle being towed or stolen. The officer stated there was no record of my vehicle being towed at that time and recommended that I file a stolen vehicle report. I proceeded to the 26th district Precinct to file the report, where the officer who was receiving my statement was able to contact GST *** by phone, who relayed to me that they had my vehicle and could obtain it that night only if I brought $205 in cash. Police ***ident Report filed: ************. I paid for an **** ride to their lot and arrived @9:25PM, where an employee **** tried to charge me $205 ($175 towing fee + $25/day of storage per their sign) in cash before allowing me to inspect my vehicle. I asked to pay card, and **** claimed they did not have a card reader. I refused until after I saw my vehicle, which then revealed that my vehicle was not on their lot.~15-25 min later, the towing vehicle with my hitched vehicle arrived. The driver George abrasively refused to unhitch my vehicle, threatened to stow the vehicle in the lot forcing me to return the next day to retrieve it unless I immediately paid the $205 in cash to ****. After I agreed to pay under coercion, they refused to give change for $220 claiming they had none, coercing me to forfeit $15 more. After releasing my vehicle, George threatened to re-hitch my vehicle if I did not leave immediately, then yelling "Why don't you **** my dick" at me as I drove off.

    George Smith Towing company illegally towed my car on 24 July in my private apartment complex. I was parked legally, white line, not a single no parking sign.

    PPA and George Smith Towing are running a racket. Both hiding around the corner of 34th and *********. Soon as you leave you vehicle it is on the tow truck faster than the PPA agent can write a ticket. Then charge $200 cash to get off the tow truck. Paid the fee with no other choice. Then followed the tow truck for two blocks where he met up with PPA agent and handed them cash. Total scam! Tow truck also damaged my vehicle. Scratched wheels and dent in lower quarter pannel.

    Was towed from a spot that I was parked in for only ten minutes. There was a sign that appears to have been there at one point but is now removed. Asked for 200 in cash and was extremely rude. Paid *************************** and pick my car up and then drop it when there werent even any signs by where I parked (which is right in front of my apartment)

    My car was wrongfully towed on 5/17/2024 for "blocking a garage." The photo evidence the company showed me for blocking the garage was taken from an intentionally deceptive angle. (The black and white photos attached). In person, my car was definitely not blocking the garage. There also wasn't a "No Parking" sign from the edge of the garage to the end of where my car was parked so my car was not parked illegally and had no business getting towed. I even replicated my park job when I got home and was able to replicate the photo from the same angle, which also proves that my vehicle was not blocking the garage whatsoever when I provide photos of the park job from other angles showing the garage. (The colored photos attached). I also took a video to show proof as well, but I cannot attach a video file type to this. I've also included a photo without my car in it to show that there is not a "No Parking" sign until behind where my car was parked.I wasn't able to retrieve my vehicle from George Smith Towing **** without paying $230 via credit card. I would like to get this money refunded back to me.
