      This company sent me a letter regarding an old credit card debt for $2,184.77 USD, on 02/20/2023. In the letter, the company states the following: "Our client has authorized us to accept a reduced amount to resolve your account. We can accept this reduced amount under your preferred option. Option 1: Pay the reduced amount of $546.18 to us in one payment." On 03/06/2023 I visited the link that they provided on the letter and selected the option to pay the reduced amount in full, and then I actually paid the reduced amount in full, $546.18. I visited their site a few days later to view my account, and I am seeing that they merely subtracted the $546.18 from the total $2,184.77, and their site is showing that I still owe the remainder. Their site is showing that my account is NOT resolved. I have attempted to contact the company regarding this, but to no avail. On their site, they have a form where you can dispute, report fraud, or attempt to get someone to email you. I tried all of these options, but no one has contacted me. I have tried to call them within their listed business hours, but their automated phone system informs me that they are not open. I would like to either have my payment recognized and account resolved, or receive a full refund on this payment that was made with the expectation of having my account resolved when it did not result in my account being resolved.

      Received phone call from caller-id stating "FBCS." Answered as I believed this may have been a travel contract I was inquiring on. They only responded hello, to which I replied. She then identified herself as "***************" and was "on a recorded line." Wishing to speak with a said party, told her I cannot confirm that the number she is calling is in relation to the person she wishes to speak with. She refused to identify what her motive was with the call. And abruptly hung up on me. I seen they have a 1.5 star review out of 5, explains everything. They call me again, I'll be getting the attorney general involved.

      Received a letter from FCBS, Inc on 1/10/2023 reference ********* offering to settle and resolve a debt from ******* hospital account ************ for 60% off of $1526.58. Letter states "Our client has authorized us to accept a reduced amount to resolve your account. We can accept this reduced amount under your preferred option". On 2/13/2023 I called the number provided ************** and spoke to ********************************* who provided his phone number of ************. During the recorded phone call I asked him if this payment would close this account and remaining debt and he confirmed this would settle the debt. The agreement was a 60% off payment at $610 to resolve. ****** then stated that I had another account through FBCS, Inc from ** ******* account ************ for $439.80. He stated that he would accept a 60% off for this amount as well and settle the account for $175.92. I paid $786.55 to resolve both accounts on 02/13/2023. On 02/23/2023 I received a letter from FBCS, Inc dated 02/14/2023 stating that I made a $610.63 payment on the $1526.58. It shows that I owe the full $439.80 for account 2 and the $175.92 is not listed. I have the letter offer of resolving this debt as well as the payment statement for this transaction. I want my accounts closed as resolved and no further contact about this matter.

      I have received over a dozen calls from FBCS and was asked to confirm my identity and address, when I asked who's calling, they refused to identify themselves. When asked for thier licence number, name, etc, they responded that the information was "not available". They asked to confirm my address and that too was incorrect. But when I said "go ahead", without confirming, they hung up. I have almost zero debt, and a 810 credit score. I pay ALL my (valid) bills proptly. This is either a phishing attempt or an attempt to collect on a "debt" that either doesn't exist or is a false or invalid claim. I have since blocked all calls from FBCS, but thought it best to report it to the BBB, as was suggested. This, by all appearances, seems to be some kind of scam.

      Continuous calls from this number person very rude just as a personal business matter claiming the ******* does not give much detail very belligerent argumentative but does not give any detail demanding. Simply asked if they could mail any information to them meaning myself I wouldn't proof in writing and hang up and become rude they continue to harass every time I asked to have something physically sent to me as proof

      FBCS called me asking that I make an immediate payment over the phone for a credit card debt on a credit card I don't think I ever had. When I declined to give bank info to a random person who called me they said I could pay via their website. I went to the website and accepted an offer presented to me. When I tried to actually make the payment I got an error stating "This account cannot accept payments online." I don't believe this is a valid debt and they will not allow me to accept pay on the offer they presented. I do want them to remove this claim of debt and refrain from contacting me moving forward.

      On 20 December, 2022, I received a call from someone named *********************************(? The last name may be wrong). They asked me who I was, I asked what they wanted. This gentleman told me that it would be illegal to give out that information until I confirmed who I was. I told him that I would not confirm who I was without knowing what they were looking for, expecting that to be the end of the phone call. ********* then proceeded to tell me in full detail the reason that he called, information that I was told was illegal to give out without a confirmation of who I was. This is a clear violation of consumer privacy laws. The call was recorded, and I asked *********'s supervisor to have access to that recording, and she denied my request.

      That is an obvious lie. I have not received any calls from said business since that interaction, because I informed them on the call that they were in violation of the law that they informed me of.       I WAS CONTACTED BY ******* FROM FBCS SAYING I OWE 1,487.00 I DO NOT UNDERSTAND BECAUSE THIS IS NOT ON MY CREDIT SCORE AND WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS OVER A FEW YEARS OLD AND HAVE NEVER BEEN CONTACTED BEFORE. SHE ASKED FOR MY ACCOUNT AND ROUTING NUMBER IN ORDER TO GET A DISCOUNT TODAY AND TODAY ONLY. THIS IS NOT OK
