Bought a Jazzy 613 less than a month ago, quit working. After trouble shooting with a tech on the phone, the problem couldn’t be solved. Chair is under warranty but days have gone by with still no response from the repair team as to when they can come fix my chair. Very disheartening when you depend on this chair to get around. I would not recommend this chair or pride mobility due to customer service.

Ordered a power wheelchair. Said in stock and ready to ship. Waited months cos not in stock. Kept beeping, told me that's normal. Finally someone fixed it (wasn't normal afterall). The controls are confusing. Forward moves the chair DOWN, backwards moves it UP. Opposite of any known joystick. No safety thing to turn it off if you're out of it. I ended up running over my foot and falling cos of how it operates. Not to mention the arm/joystick panel bent down when I tried to grab the arm for support! Been waiting weeks for someone to pick it up and get it out of here. Was told last week, but then said no cos they're waiting for a shipping box. How many weeks does that take?? Ridiculous.

I purchased a Heritage 358xxl light chair in March 2023 due to I’m disabled and was in the hospital and couldn’t go home until I got a lift chair so after shopping around I found Med- Mart so I ordered the chair on the recommendation and customer reviews after 3 months of use I heard a cracking noise and stopped the chair, found a piece of broken wood so I contacted MedMart the said to send pictures and all information I had I did that.. so then I was told I need to pay$210 for a technician to come check the chair which I hesitated to do but did because I need my chair, so the technician comes says it’s broken bad needs replaced nothing I done so I waited for 2 weeks and I get a text saying they need a official letter from my doctor stating my weight and height I do that wait another week got a text message yesterday stating Pride will not replace my chair because it will probably break again, and won’t sell me any chair somewhere else.. so I think first it’s false advertising because the chair I have is supposed to be weight limit to 600 lbs which I’m not and 6”1 which I am second not selling me another chair is discrimination , so Med Mart says they can get me another chair for a additional $300 which I think is ridiculous because of the money I have already spent.. so I have been 2 months without my chair and the new chair to get here is going to be 4-6 more weeks my health and mental and physical health are deteriorating Med Mart and Pride Mobility are absolutely the worst companies to deal with .. I’m on disability with a limited income I can’t afford to be paying and paying i feel I have been taking advantage of ..

Just over 1 year ago we purchased a Pride lift chair from MEDability in Markham. Very helpful and very happy to take your money and offer great service.
The chair was working fine until one week ago it stopped working completely.
I called MEDabilty and was informed that it was under warranty, however we would have to pay $175 plus GST for a representative to check out the problem.
I was asked to give them all the info required to explain what the problem was.
A representative was sent out to my Mothers (95 yrs old) and assessed the problem to be a faulty control box. They could not fix on site and we were informed the chair would be fixed when the part was available.
When the part came in, they called me to arrange anther appointment and informed me there would be another $152.00 to replace the defective part. Unfortunately we had no recourse but to pay again or the chair would not be repaired.
This is probably one of the biggest scams I have ever dealt with.
The warranty is a joke and I would recommend that purchasing a PRIDE chair is not a good idea and purchasing from MEDabilty would not be a good place to purchase these products from.
It is obvious, this company is really great when buying but not so great when warranty issues arise.
There are many other companies out there that provide much better service so just be aware to check these companies before even considering this company that is much more concerned with making extra money on warranty repairs than actually providing a good service. Especially to seniors that may not be able to afford their astronomical extra charges

I bought a Go Go Elite Traveler Scooter and the battery would not charge. I call there customer service and the person was very rude. On facebook I message them and was told I would get a call from a member of the management team. Two days later I got a call but this person knew very little about the items. He would say one thing then I would tell him what there book said and he would change his story. He would say I think or it should be. I will take to have the battery and charger tested. They were not helpfull at all.

Very poor customer support. Will not provide manuals for preventive maintenance, or repair. Said they will not allow customers to purchase parts. Only way to get assistance with repairs is to call local dealers ( which don’t repair the model I have. ) or a nation wide repair service they recommend. Phone tech suggested I send an email to Pride Mobility, no response yet. This is the only way I can get around outside my house. I have all the tools and training to take care of this myself if they would provide the necessary manuals. The tech at one point claimed this is a medical device. I am a certified medical equipment tech with 25 yrs experience. If this is a medical device as he said they are required by regulations to prove parts, PM, and service information. I self purchased it on line through a authorized Pride dealer. I can’t take to the original dealer for assistance. Unless they change their policy I can’t recommend purchasing anything from them.

Be careful if you order a new TS19 Tansport Chair. It is defective and unsafe. The person for whom I give care got her thumb caught between the seat and the bar alongside the seat because the seat did not go into the support bracket correctly. Once the seat did snap into place, her thumb could be extricated only by helping her to a partial stand and creating space by partially collapsing the chair. (This was extremely difficult when we were in the middle of an access road at the time and the transport chair user cannot walk and requires assistance to stand.) Fortunately, an urgent care visit revealed no fractures, but she was splinted and left with pain and extensive bruising.

We have used and made recommendations for the TS19 Transport Chair for years, so are extremely disappointed with our post-pandemic purchase. After having the problem (described above) with the chair ordered, we received a replacement chair that has the exact same problem. Pride Medical has not been quick to respond nor have they shown any particular concern about our plight and the plight of other potential customers.

The situation has been reported to the governmental office for defective products, the company from which the chair was purchased, and Pride Medical.

We are looking for a hassle free, no cost return; a full refund; and reimbursement of medical costs.

My new scooter failed after less than two years. I was told the warranty is no good because the corroded electrical harness had gotten wet perhaps from condensation. The machine is kept under roof cover and under a vinyl protector. I was told it should have been kept in a heated room. The owners manual says it can handle -45 degrees to +149 degrees F. I was told it should not be kept outside. The model I purchased is not for inside the home use and is described for use on lawns, gravel, asphalt and cement surfaces..
I seems that these machines are not for anything but perfectly ideal, dry, climate controlled conditions. I cannnot recommend them.

Hello, we're very sorry to hear about the issue with your scooter. If you'll notice that sentence is our owner's manual specifically states that it can withstand those temperatures for "short-term storage." Also, the previous two bullets before that sentence state:
Store your vehicle in a warm, dry environment.
Avoid storing your vehicle where it will be exposed to temperature extremes
    Thank you!

I have a pride 9, 4 wheel mobility scooter that Medicare with the help of my doctor and a deductible that I paid. This scooter has opened my life so much I cannot begin to describe. I have heart failure and can arrive somewhere without huffing and puffing and I am in control and I will not fall down. I also have scleroderma and acute gout which limits me quite a bit. I recently went to Georgetown hospital in Washington DC for a check up and had 3 women asking me about my scooter and their husbands were out of breath pushing them in wheelchairs. I explained to them how to go about getting a pride scooter. They, husband and wife will live longer after the stress is removed from pushing them around and the women have a little independence operating their own vehicle. They will feel better. Believe me, this cart is my legs and I could not survive without it. Thank you Pride, Medicare, Dr Serrano and nurse navigator Rowena.
