I received a notice that I have a collection from RECEIVABLES MANAGEMENT C on my credit report. It says it was opened on 09/20/2019 for $4,598 with account number starting ********** that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. To Whom It May Concern: My husband has been receiving phones call from The Receivable Management Services LLC, who was trying to get my updated address from him. The company, during many initial calls, refused to state what the calls were about if my husband would not confirm my identity to them and give them data about me. We were concerned they were a scam or phishing company. Finally, Receivable Management Services LLC said who they were and that they were calling about a debt they said I owe. When we pressed them about who/what the debt was about, they said it was to **** *****/** ** and that I owed $142. I asked what the date of the doctor visit was, and I went through all of my doctor records. I never saw the doctor on that date, and we have no outstanding debts with the doctor or insurance company. We never received any bills or any other type of communication from my doctors or **** *****/** ** about this. This debt is not mine. We told the person on the phone that the debt is not mine. They then sent a letter to a former address of mine, stating I owe $142 in debt. The reference number on their statement is: ************. This debt is not mine, and I ask that The Receivable Management Services LLC remove me from their system and cease and desist all contact with me and my family. I also do not want this incorrect collection to be reflected on any of my credit reports. Thank you.

I recently have received calls and mail from Receivable Management Services LLC ("RMS") for an alleged debt that they say I owe to ********* in the amount of $180.77. I asked them to supply detail on what the charge was for and they said they did not have any detail. I have never received any correspondence from *********. about any debt with them prior to this contact from RMS. I contacted *********. three times now and they have no record of a debt in my name, the account number that Receivable Management Services LLC is referencing does not exist in *********.'s system, and they stated that consumers DO NOT and CANNOT carry debt with *********. as all charges must be paid via credit card for consumer products ordered before they are shipped.

I am rejecting this response because: If anyone takes but one second to look at the validation from Miele, it clearly shows a credit card on file for that order.  ***** confirmed they do not ship consumer items without payment, in advance.  Further, they confirmed that the credit card charge must clear before the items are sent. When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.

As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
