I have lived at the ******************************* Commons since ****. Never had a single incident in my file. I HAVE seen and gone through every ******* and asst ******* from when ********************* built this place. Back when we had the Crack epidemic and they put up a new ******* that is now 23 yes later the place where many of our homeless very drug addicted to the worst drug ever used by a human being xyzylazine. It's slaughtering so many people and it's not a drug made for human beings. The ******************************* is one of a number of private owned, Federally funded Apts in downtown ******** ******. I have watched over 30 plus Mgrs and 50 plus asset *******s or "leasing agents", many asst ***** There are some very good people in here trying to get by day to day. I have grown up with ******************* and ***********************, and my father. Three people who have helped shape real-estate, of coarse the Goodmans made some good investments. ******************* platforms on helping the homeless and new low income housing. I have a section 8 based apt that I HAVE watched in awe of the things I have witnessed at this address. People are to scared to say anything because of retaliation that can be impossible to fight. We have people living here and working here here. I'm disabled and put in for simple blinds that are plastic and there are boxes of them and we have a maintenance worker that lives here. I have not gotten drapes since 2015. My sink got fixed which is fantastic but the guy never came back. This is a hard building to work at because the police don't really care what happens up here so you know in the end, these buildings are privately owned. Federally Funded. NO matter what you pay as a tenant, something is getting x amount for your apartment. Am I scared of repercussions. Yes I am. It's one of the reasons I am writing this and I'm a very lucky and blessed to have a father that taught me INTEGRITY is everything. Shame on the people making a lot of money from people that have stick it to out. Scared

Since PInehurst recently took over our building (**********************) service and response has declined. Often times the office is closed when it is scheduled to be open (one week it was open only two and a half days). I have also never had a phone call returned (even though I left messages on the voicemail) This was rarely if ever an issue with the former management company (IPM).This lack of direct communication is frustrating, particularly during my annual income verification which is critical to our ongoing residency. The process seemed to be haphazard, particularly due to the spotty office hours and lack of communication in comparison to previous years.I was informed about a month ago when I brought this up that it was because they are understaffed which makes me wonder how Home Forward even allowed them to take over management of the building (many units here are rent subsidised). They said they were hiring more personnel but office hours are still very inconsistent and I never can get a live person on the phone. There is also no local email set up (we used to have one)) and messaging goes to their company;s central office, not the on in the building. I get the feeling management here is somewhat over their head trying to operate such a large property (over 181 units) along with the others they manage in the metro area. Also since the change in management, we often receive notices about maintenance and such where personnel must enter the unit on very short advance notice. Again, the former owner would issue such notices a minimum 5 to 10 business days in advance. so we could schedule to be home, or request a set time and day for the work to be done. Again the lack of more consistent communication tends to make this extremely frustrating.

They have "good" sales people in middle and upper management. A company thats quickly growing- with horrible morals and ethical values. They do not have an HR department, IT, *************. The place is crumbling from the inside out- and somehow staying afloat by suckering in property owners with empty promises (same with the hiring process).Dont expect equal pay, treatment, or honesty from this lot: they will do whatever it takes to make their page pretty.Sexual harassment, pay discrimination, meandering, and the list goes on. I wonder how long they can keep this up. Hopefully, for humanity's sake, not much longer.

I was a live in maintenance tech. From the minute I started I was working on fixing back orders dated clear back to 2019 for these tenants that are 55 and older. I take pride in what I do and I do it to make the lives of the retired much easier to live there lives. But Pinehurst Managements owners do not care for the people who live in their units, who pay their bills. I have seen it first hand. I'm not tooting my own horn but 90% of the tenants said I was the best thing to happen to that complex since it was commissioned. I worked long hours for the people that lived there and the property to look its best. But then I was fired for a bad reason which is against oregon state laws and had 3 days to move out of the apartment my dog and I were living in. Which we are now homeless. The point of my complaint is this company needs to be held accountable for treating people so poorly, to the point where a couple seniors had been living in a wet molding apartment for over a year and wasn't addressed until I was put into this position to help, which was my main purpose and ************* And *********************** took the tenants lives and my hard work and livelihood for granted all for money. ************* needs to be held accountable for deaths that have been caused by his negligence. Please if I can't be helped, that is fine but please help these human beings from being treated like they are nothing.

3 years in, they seem great to me. Emails, phone messages answered promptly.Management in the apartment works well, polite, informative, patient, communicates well.Appts are well maintained, minimal problems, tenants are pretty easy to get along with, no problems that I can think of.

Wish I could give zero stars. This company is an absolute joke and I wouldn't be shocked if they had multiple lawsuits against them. If you want to live in tweaker infested apartments owned by slumlords, you'll find yourself at home on their miserable properties.
