      I ordered 2 sim cards from Consumers cellular and my carrier would not release my phone so we never got to switch to Consumers and I had to cancel and stay with my carrier well I ended up with a bill from Consumer Cellular that I had to pay. I told them I would report to the BBB.

      Have been charged for services not received. They will not only not reimburse the money they are now charging late fees. They have been notified twice and today is third time regarding this issue. Very disappointed and disgusted with how they have handled this. I filed complaint with credit card company who said I have to pay it. Talked with them today and was again promised a refund. This is the second time I have been promised a refund. I would not recommend them to anyone.

      I'm a senior citizen that was wrongly done by consumer cellular! Completely ridiculous situation!I order specifically the IPHONE 14 PRO *** PLUS, and they had shipped out the wrong IPHONE which was an IPHONE 14. The basic one. I had used it for ONE week because I had no other phone to use and no choice. I then called to complain, and then finally they shipped me out the correct IPHONE 14 PRO *** PLUS. I tried to return the other phone that was wrongfully shipped too me which was the iPhone ***************************************** my mailbox with an attached letter saying, "they could not take the phone back because of minor scratches." I called once again to see what that was about, and they will NOT take the phone back!!! I even asked if I could replace the screen so there wouldn't be any "scratches" and then return it and their answer was NO. The lady was very rude and unprofessional. Mind you, I have INSURANCE! I should be able to replace the screen on my own dime with insurance, which is still BS but even if I did, they said NO. I am now stuck with this phone I didn't even want in the first place!!! I DO NOT recommend consumer cellular!!!! They are very awful people too deal with. The lady even said on the phone too me "well maybe you ordered the wrong one if it showed we didn't have the 14 plus in stock" Which was a lie because it absolutely was in stock, and I know **** well I ordered the correct iPhone. This is complete BS and now I have to try and sell this phone I got stuck with and going too loose money trying to sell it anywhere. If I could leave no star, I would. I don't even recommend 1 star for this terrible company.

      I received a phone from Consumer Cellular. I am 63 years old and have had cell phones for years. I had my phone for TWO MONTHS, I went to plug it in one evening and the charger wouldn't seat in the phone. When I contacted the GARBAGE COMPANY I spoke with around six different people and got six different answers. It must be in the training manual because they all said that they understand but that was their only answer. I called again and asked to speak with a supervisor, the woman who answered kept asking what she could do for me, I kept asking for a supervisor. How many times do I have to keep asking the same question. When I FINALLY was allowed to speak with someone who was ALLEGEDLY IN CHARGE, I explained the problem, and was told that the problem was of my doing. Nobody even wanted to see the phone, IT WAS JUST CONSIDERED TO BE MY FAULT. I know how to plug in and charge a phone. Maybe if they received better QUALITY PHONES this WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. I have dealt with many cell phone companies BUT THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. How they get away with this is ABSOLUTELY MIND BOGGLING TO ME. Supposedly according to their commercials they are number 1. They will end up getting their money from me I am sure of it because I don't have the money or the means to fight it. How are companies like this getting away with this, is it because they have the money to S**** PEOPLE OVER. SO DISGUSTED WITH THEM THAT EVERYWHERE I GO I AM GOING TO WARN PEOPLE AGAINST USING THEIR SERVICE.I doubt I will get anywhere by posting this, Hopefully I can STOP OTHERS FROM GETTING SCREWED. If there was a NEGATIVE STAR ? I WOULD LEAVE THAT

      Im a senior citizen that was wrongly done by consumer cellular. My services were terrible and phone didnt work most of the time lost service for 16 hours in one day. The phone would drop all my calls and didnt allow calls or messages to come through. Their service was awful and trying to change my service cause emotional pain and stress. I had a lot of time wasted and money going back and forth with them over get these issues resolved. I feel as though I have been totally done in this situation. There was money taken from my accounts without my authorization and theyre still saying I owe them money. They will receive when Im able to pay!!! Im still having anxiety attacks due to these issues.

      I turned to Consumer Cellular after being completely ignored,lied to and disrespected by Straight Talk with ******** I purchased a plan and phone on 9/26/22, was told I could upgrade before 14 days passed. Ordered a phone on line and it was sent back for an incomplete address. I go to a Target store to get the phone I want so I don't have to wait for a 10 day turn around for the first phone, AND can't get it because I wasn't properly advised to wait for the first phone to be returned. THEN, I return to Target to get the upgrade and NO PHONE REPS WORK ON TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS!! It NEVER occurred to ANYONE to let me know this.... at Target nor on the phone!!! This has been the WORST experience with customer service, as a NEW CUSTOMER that I've ever experienced!! I'm stuck now since I had to change my number and have a service I can afford. So very, VERY frustrated and annoyed by the lack of genuine service and concern!!! Don't really want to give ANY STARS AT ALL!!!

      I'm a new customer with CC and was pleased with the service. I recommended CC to a family member and they switched to CC. I accessed my account online and noticed a box about **************** referrals (see How Referrals Work below as copied from CC's website). I called to let them know I had referred a family member and inquired about the $10 credit. I was told company policy does not allow family members who live at the same address to get the credit! Their website mentions NOTHING about exclusions. I hate to break this to CC - many family members live at the same address!! The $10 is nothing, it's the principle of the matter. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The "supervisor" wouldn't let me speak, kept talking over me and, in my opinion, was very unprofessional. Now I want nothing to do with CC.HOW REFERRALS WORK We appreciate your business and would like to pay you back as well as give you the chance to pay it forward.       I'd give negative star if I could. Signed up for service with their home phone box. Paid for it had it 4 months. Every month had to call to get it reconnected every month. They sent a new box to me and I returned the other one and that one didn't even go 1 day without working. Called to cancel service got a supervisor for the 2nd time. Asked what would I think if they traded that box for a regular flip phone to keep me as customer. I told them ok 1 more try. Got put on hold for 10 minute only to be told they couldn't because it had been 4 months so I'm out hard earned dollars for nothing. This should fall under a lemon law thing because in 4 months with the same problem. But no. So if your thinking about going this cheap route for phone service this is not where you should be looking. Oh and by the way their customer service hot line is only available from 8 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday and 6 pm on weekends so hard to get help for problems. They advertise their big hug care about you but in the end they are just like everyone else. Take your money and run. AARP needs to stop teaming with them also because the so called discount you get is a joke.

      We are being charged $5 monthly because we don't do AutoPay. We don't allow anyone to access our check books. Just don't think that is good business to charge because we are cautious with our money. May cause us to lose a phone line and a phone number because of the charge that is not necessary. We have excellent credit ratings and don't think that the charge is warranted.

      I switched from **** to consumer cellular and have received 2 bills on my checking account that says ****, but I closed their account 2 mo ago. I went to the **** store that I canceled service with, they said they have had 3 other people come in to make the same complaint. I called consumer cellular to file a complaint, the lady got hateful with me and told me to have my bank file fraud charges, then hung up on me.
