      I always would give Consumer Cellular 5 star until lately if I could I would give a 0. I recently purchased a home Base Verve to transfer a land line to a different city. My God I don't think they know how to do this. I have been on the phone with them and the cable company already nearing 6 hours I beleive. I did as they told me to get it transferred. Here it is over 3 weeks and still not hooked up. Both parties blame the other for not doing it correct. They told me it would be hooked up the following week after Thanksgiving. Stilll nothing. Tried it again and again and still nothing. Had a conference call between them and my cable company. ************* said they weren't getting anything from Consumer Cellular. ***** told Cellular it should work and told Cellular just resubmit it again should work. Didn't work. Called for the 3rd time I beleive,nothing. They resubmitted it again and said it will or should be on, on the 11th, 13, 15 and all days nothing. Each day contacting Cellular between those days. Everytime I call in I hear something different. On the 18th again nothing. On the **************************************************************************** He explain something then and I acknowledge him and when I tried to explain he repeated it again. This happened approximately 3 4 times. He would not let me speak or he didn't want to hear about it. Asked for supervisor and explained and he did say it would take until the 18th and if it doesn't work call in and ask for a ticket on the number. So I called Monday and asked for them to submit a ticket as I was told. I was told they don't issue ticket numbers WTH. Runaround again. Now I was told wait till the 21. ????. I would not recommend this home Base Verveq. If I was a gambling man I would bet my monthly check that it still will not be hooked up. This is totally unacceptable.

      This is the worst telephone company I have ever had to work with {I have worked with Sprint, ATT, ******** Spectrum in the past). I set up a home phone for my father with a base that his landline plugged into. I needed an extremely reliable phone because he is 97, blind and lives alone. Problems started immediately. It took over 3 weeks for CC to port his phone number over and with every call from me there was a new excuse. The reason I left today was that my father's phone has not been able to receive or make calls for FOUR DAYS. We called and chatted with CC multiple times daily for four days and they finally just said "ATT towers are out, there's nothing we can do." We checked with ATT and they said that was false. We were never followed up with, nor did the company ever reach out to us to give us a time frame or respond to our concerns. I absolutely regret being involved with this company.

      Consumer Cellular is unwilling to provide a hard copy of your agreement. The customer service representative provided it over the phone and I has to write it down. They are unwilling to resend a bill if not received. I requested the roadside assistance information to be at least sent in an email. I was told that was not an option and I needed to write it down on paper.This company caters to Seniors but is unwilling to assist in any meaningful way. They very readily say no we cannot do that. Not a consumer friendly telephone company!

      Horrible. From the order being placed! Not shipped when promised so couldnt be there to help 88yo mom set up. Phone had no service message. Spent hours on multiple calls. Some reps hung up on us. Some were super kind. Reset phone and then couldnt make calls. Supervisor sighed, exasperated when I started to tell her what weve experienced then said she needed to get a drink. Ask for her superior. He told me we had only called once with the current problem (couldnt make calls now) but THAT happened bc they had us rest the phone! **************** does t exist. Awful. Our policy talk without a real explanation. Dont trust them!

      The customer service is horrid, no offer to escalate a problem. No offer to assist in reducing the bill for the problem. Phone is a flip for a senior non tech person that never worked correct never stayed charged even when no used. My dad hated the replacement that was sent. Sitting on the table it went dead. Garbage. Canceled service never offered to attempt to save the service. No stars would be my review.

      I changed to Consumer Cellular to save money , but I had to buy a new phone that I got on payments , moto 5g stylus 2023 but it's junk and yesterday I had to go to town couldn't get it to work , it only works at home on my own wifi and I still have problems , I wish I would of stuck to Apple I phones because this thing is junk and I owe for 2 years on junk and this is my second time writing this review , because it keeps dropping me , wish I would of never changed because now I'm paying more for a junk phone . My life 360 won't even work says I have no service when I leave my house and I called them to see if they could help me with this junk phone , but they were no help .

      Great Idea, wonderful plans and add ons, but the coverage where I live in Southeast ******* quite plainly *****, and has done so for years. **** is obviously complacent and content about furthering their coverage area as this area has been without improvement for more years than I can remember. Sadly due to the lack of signal coverage, I will be "porting out" to another carrier. Today in fact. So Sad.

While we can absolutely report coverage issues, it is ultimately up to AT&T to build towers in low coverage areas. If anything changes in the future, we would love to work with you again!
