      We like our new phones, but were not impressed with the so-called Consumer Cellular departments in our Target stores. I finally set the phones up myself, then had to do lots of trouble-shooting (2 days worth) to get my husbands email account and contacts to load on his phone.

      My *** stayed with me for almost 90 minutes while I contacted ******* support to get my new phone set up properly. All this while a thunderstorm hit her **************. It's folks like her that ha e kept me a loyal customer and brand ambassador (love to all at Consumer cellular) for almost 20 years!

      I called into Consumer Cellular to transfer my number from Virgin Mobile/Boost due to their own questionable legal practices and was forced to provide a credit card number before they would even look at doing so. After attempting to transfer my number I was told that they could not do so and thus they could not provide service. Imagine my surprise, when checking my credit card statements (several month back due to illegal eviction and lack of access) that there were recurring charges from them for service they never started and knew they were not providing(rep at cancellation stated this was recorded at the time of initial contact). After finally being able to get ahold of one of their representatives and cancelling I was then told they would absolutely not issue a refund for those charges and that i had to write a letter to their corporate office to request one. After contacting the Attorney General of WA State and filing a complaint one of their "representatives" emailed me telling me that I would be issued a refund if I provided a physical address(even though it was stated clearly on the **** complaint that I was homeless). Consumer Cellular also has the ** number they've charged without my consent and for service never provided and can very well issue the refund to that **.

      I've been a CC customer for several years and have usually bought my new phones from CC, mainly because of the ease of installation. For my recent purchase, it took me over an hour and contact with two levels of tech before the new phone would allow me to make calls. The instructions included in the box were limited in value and somewhat contradictory. The switch to an eSim seemed to be the problem. The first tech was patient and friendly but seemed only partially trained. The higher level tech - ******* - was really great but it took her significant time to figure out the source of the problem. She had to make configuration changes herself. Years ago, you could call to make a simple activation, download the backup files from the old phone and be on your way. What happened?

      Have enjoyed the service that I get with consumer cellular. They made everything easy on setting up the plan. The plan is a great price. Almost two thirds less than the plan that I was on with another carrier. Had to get a new phone. The purchasing was easy to navigate. I got a great phone. Enjoy it's qualities.
