So these folks are ****'s have had my car at least two months and still not complete, I had a incident as someone drilled a hole in my gas tank to steal my gas and needed a new fuel tank, I asked about a loaner three to four weeks ago and they said it would be ready before one is available. I am now in the process of wanting to tow my car to another mechanic to actually have it done, I asked for an update and was put off with let me check with my production manager and no reply after that. I strongly feel you now should be paying for my rental being you said no when I asked.Business Response

I dropped my car off on the 20th of June expecting minor repairs be done, on the 26th I called in for an update only to be informed that my care was being totaled out by the insurance company, the insurance company has since sent me a check for the value of my car minus the salvage value however leifs refuses to give me a invoice or amount I need to pay and refuses to release my car meanwhile they have it sitting on there lot racking up storage fees I presume in an attempt to get the billed owed over the $2000 **** so they can put a lein on my car and legally steal it out from under me I just want my car back I've been asking for an amount I need to pay them since the 26th of June it's now the 5th of July.Business Response

Greetings your Honor,My name is ******************************* And Im a disabled navy veteran that is having trouble with ********************** Collision Repair in ******. I had a small Fender ****** and took it to ********************** because they were available right away. Well, when My insurance adjuster got the Estimate, he couldnt believe it. ********************** ordered a New Alloy Rim for a small scratch, and ordered parts that I did not sign for. I went to ********************** in person to inquire why the excessive repairs? *** is the Representative at **********************. He was extremely Rude to Me and yelled at me about being there instead of waiting for his call or email. *** was so aggressive that he Set off My PTSD BAD. I wanted to take My car elsewhere to get the correct work done, but he bullied me by threatening to charge excessive storage fees and parts fees. I am waiting for ********************** to release My Car, so I can return My rental. I am paying out of pocket each day that ********************** has My car. USAA sent them a Check for repairs, but ********************** will Not accept a Screen Shot of the incoming Payment. I desire to Sue ********************** for the cost of excessive repairs, Emotional damages, Blackballing, public humiliation, and Rental costs incurred by me while I wait for my car to be released to My Possession. ********************** also stated during my service call that USAA and State Farm are Crooked and Bounce Checks. Thank you for your letter. And thank you for your service. We believe you misunderstood our policy. Your vehicle has been done and ready for pickup for some time. Your insurer failed to issue payment for your repairs from when it came in. We explained that USAA has not honored checks issued before, and we will need to wait until we have checks verified to be correct. As we explained to you before you wrote your letter, we explained that you can cover the bill and pickup. Then USAA will send you the money direct. You declined. And decided to wait.Initial Complaint

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I should have listened to the reviews but instead I got caught up in the advertisement on the radio that was so catchy. I thought ****'s was going to take good care of me but I was SO wrong!!! In the beginning everyone was so nice but once they got my car that's when things went don't so fast. They don't have any loaner cars available like there advertisement promises. They do if you want to wait 2 months... my car has been torn apart for a month now. They finished painting it almost 2 weeks ago and have done absolutely zero work on it. When I asked to see what my car looked like the 3 ladies at the front desk when I came in where extremely rude, calling me all sorts of names. *** the guy who showed me my car told me it would be 2-3 more weeks before it was done. I have to turn in my rental car in 2 days because Safeco is no longer going to cover a rental because of the constant delays caused by ****'s. They told me they work on my car 2 hours a day which is BS. *** even had the nerve to call me a "*****" I am so disgusted by this place. I've filed a complaint with the ****** ********** of ******* and I wish everyone else would do the same. This company needs to be shut down. No wonder my Safeco claims adjuster refuses to work with ****'s and makes me the middle man. I wish I would have seen through all these red flags before hand. Now they have my car, all torn apart with no timeline of when I am going to get it back. My car got towed to ****'s on 1/12 after delays from my insurance company. When I first called ****'s I said that the insurance approved repair shop could not get me in until mid-February and I was assures they could fix my car before then. I was called on 1/12 to be told that my car had arrived to their location. I received NO communication from then until 1/31 when my "adjuster" from ****'s asked if I had a copy of ****'s repair costs. I emailed it to him with the phone number of the person who is supposed to be working with me(I've only spoken to the **** adjuster once). I emailed ****'s today, 2/1, stating I was unhappy with the lack of communication and that I wanted my car fixed and given to me by 2/10. I got a response that was absolutely reprehensible in it's treatment of me and the scathing way the employee spoke to me. I was also not told at the time of signing a repair authorization with ****'s that if I did not choose them, they would demand an exorbitant amount of money for me to get my car back from them.Business Response

We appreciate your letter. Here is a timeline which we gave you earlier before you wrote us.
Vehicle arrived on 1/12
USAA was sent paperwork with the cost on 1/16 after we disassembled and analyzed all the damage.
USAA finally, after using two different sources on their end, sent us approved work authorization on 1/31. We kept you informed about this. when it came in, when we sent off paperwork and when we received authorization. Parts are on order as of 2/1. Contact USAA to find out why they delayed the paperwork for two weeks. Sometimes picking the correct insurance makes all the difference if you need your vehicle accident repaired quickly. Progressive is very fast.

I am rejecting this response because: I have had issues from Leifs since I got my car towed to their shop. I had filed a BBB complaint in January 2023, but they never responded. Im back because they are still NOT communicating with me, *** tried repeatedly to get answers or to speak to someone & I got a nasty email almost 3 weeks ago, with nothing since. I called on 2/15 at 11:54a & asked to speak to a manager. I was told there was no direct extension, but one would get back to me without ***** hours. I NEVER received a call. I keep hearing their commercials, which after my experience with them are FALSE advertising. They do not help you, treat you rudely & do not communicate with you. They need to be held accountable for how unethical they are and how poorly they treat customers. It is not ok!

My husband took our car to leifs auto collision center 1 month ago after he was in a small accident. My husband unknowingly signed a contract which would charge him $100 a day for leifs having his vehicle. Leifs has not worked on the vehicle as of yet. When we call they tell us that our insurance company is refusing to pay for some of the repairs so they cannot work on it. When we talk to the insurance company they tell us that they are charging for things they do not cover under insurance and when my insurance calls leifs they will not talk to them at all. So my insurance suggested taking the car to a ************** in their network. So I called leifs to pick up the car. A guy named ***, who was so extremely rude to me, also the manager, laughed at me and told me I cannot pick up the car unless I want to pay them over $3000 for storage fees. So the only way to get our car back is to pay for the repairs the insurance company will not pay which is over $2000 and have leifs fix our vehicle or pay $3000 for their storage fees. We don't have that money. And if we agree to have them fix the car we have to sign a contract saying that they are not responsible for any problems that happen at their shop and nothing they will do will be under a warranty now. I have done a lot of research on the complaints that have been given to leifs. This is a common scam that they use on people. They have completely turned our lives into a an anxiety filled h*** We have only one vehicle and no money to get our other one out. I don't know what to doBusiness Response

We recommend you write a letter to the BBB and the state complaining against Allstate for not covering your claim. Our rates, charges and storage are customary and standard in the market. Allstate has a legal obligation to cover market pricing. I am rejecting your response because I am ******. You guys have not a care in the world for your clients. All you care about is getting your money. When I called to talk to *** the "manager" he was so rude to me for no reason! He laughed at me! I have read the reviews from all of your customers and I honestly feel like *** does not like women. When my husband calls he is so nice and professional. This is not ok and I am shocked that you as a business owner would allow this kind of disrespect to your customers. Also, why do feel the need to talk s*** about my insurance company to me? That progressive is the only insurance i should have?? That sir, is a scam. I would also like to know the reason you refuse to have communication over the phone with insurance companies? This causes extreme delays in work and is extremely unprofessional. It also causes extreme anxiety to your clients without thier vehicle for unbelievable amounts of time. Stop comparing your shop to other shops. For all of the customers who have been scammed by leifs, your complaint needs to be filed with the secretary of state. I have talked with the district attorney and they are absolutely in violation of our human rights as customers. Please follow thru and help me shut this disgusting business down. As a resolution again, please just give us back our vehicle. At this point, I feel like they are punishing us for taking a stand and now will take as long as they can to give us our vehicle. Wretched experience. Took our car in on September 29, 2022. with what appeared to be a simple fender ******, as shown in accompanying photo. A month later, not having heard anything back, we called to inquire about the repair status and were told it would take about three more weeks. Three weeks later, when we called to ask when we could pick up the car, we again were told its repair would still take three more weeks. At the end of that time, in response to another call from us, we were given an estimate of another two weeks but after that we were told it wouldn't be ready during the Thanksgiving week. Then yesterday (December 12,2022), our obviously irritated and angry ****'s representative said he could not give us any estimated completion date. Meanwhile, from what we have heard from our insurance company, it appears that the repair costs now have run up to almost $9,000 -- about 25% of what the car cost new in 2020.Initial Complaint

I dropped off my 2019 ********** Eclipse Cross to have damage repaired from an accident on October 28, 2022. While dropping it off I was told it shouldnt take longer than a month but its possible due to back order, to which I asked if they can order the parts for my car while I continued to drive it as I was only able to rent a car for 30 days under my insurance policy. Im a single mom and unable to afford to pay for a rental out of pocket which I also explained to them, they told me I should be fine in the 30 days and that they cant allow me to drive my car while waiting on parts even if its still drivable. 2 months and a $1000 rental bill later, I still dont have my car, I have been unable to get any information on my vehicle until today despite several phone calls to the shop and multiple messages left (with my correct phone number) and was just informed its going to be another 2 weeks and they dont have a loaner available for me. I was told the phone number on file was the one they had been leaving messages at, which wasnt even the number I left for them every time I called. When speaking with the customer rep he said I was lying about the information given to me at drop off and was basically left with a tough luck. Now with just a couple weeks before Christmas Im strapped for cash scraping by to make bills, because of their lack of communication, efficiency, and unwillingness to compromise with me despite me attempting to find different solutions to this problem. I will never do business with them again. My family has taken several cars there and this just feels like theyve been taking advantage of a mother in a vulnerable position.Business Response

We sent our suburban to be work on after an accident in August of 2022. We were told in October of 2022 that all the parts were there and it was ready to be put back together. We were told by the manager *** that it should only take a couple of weeks. Two weeks later I call to check the status and he said that there is no update to give that there has been little to no change. That the industry standard is 2hrs per vehicle and then laughed at us said deal with it there is nothing I can do I dont work on the cars. The manager is very condescending to my wife and continues to laugh at her. We have a daughter with disabilities and this has put a major strain on our family and the emotional stress of my wife has her in tears daily. First and Foremost, skip this ****'s shop entirely. If you dont expect you will receive nothing but attitude from their condescending a** hole employees. And i dont say that lightly. ***********************, that has been named in many other negative reviews, truly lives up to his name on here. Condescending, Blames the insurance companies for how long they take. And blames you for having such a cheap insurance. (Have 2 emails from him call me names like a child.) They have had my truck in shop for over a month and a half before they were finally able to get a quote approved from my insurance. (MIND YOU, This is a Non-collision repair. Someone had vandalized my truck. They ordered parts and received everything within a week of ordering so they can start repairs. Quote totaled out to just barley over 40h worth of work. They have had my truck for another month with absolutely no Completion date in sight. I ask when my truck will be done and *** tells me something like, "it will not be completed before Thanksgiving" no other updates. I fear they're are some theivs that work here so i will be going over this truck with a fine toothed comb before signing back into my possession. The "Release / Intake forms" are actually a binding contract make no mistake. They tried to tell me that i was going to be held liable for Storage days totaling to the amount of $4,000 if i wanted another shop to make the repairs instead. ( at the point of telling me this they only had my truck in their shop fpr 3 weeks) So for some reason they can do 4k worth of work in a matter of days but take months to do the work if its approved by the insurance. This place is a joke and an embarrassment to **** himself. Completely un-professional
