      I'm very upset about experience bring my car there. My car was not fully fixed at the repair shop. I don't think the repair shop fought for me to get my car fully fixed. I had both of my passenger doors on my right side damaged and only 1 door was fixed. The insurance didn't pay the whole bill and I had to pay out of pocket $222 and Leifs didn't do anything to help me.

      Thanks for your comments.  You asked us to only repair part of your vehicle due to liberty mutual not covering your entire claim.  We asked you twice and in writing to make sure you were ok with this.
      Additionally liberty mutual refused to cover a tow bill that was pre approved by them to take your vehicle to the dealer for dealer only electronic work.
      As a consumer advocate shop.. ****'s can help you recover the funds liberty mutual owes you if you so desire.  Did you file a complaint yet against liberty mutual for not paying your claim?  Let us know.

      In July 2023, I entered into a contract with the company to repair our 2019 ***** Colorado from a vehicle mishap. It was difficult to obtain a repair status during the repairs, and the insurance company was continually updating me. On one occasion, the insurance company mentioned that Leifs was trying to have them pay for repairs or for damages that occurred during the other maintenance. When I asked ***** about this, I was told I would not see any documentation until completion. When the repairs were completed, we looked over the vehicle to see if everything was completed to our satisfaction. After the trip home, we noticed our bed cover had opened, so I closed it and locked it. The next day it popped open on the drive. to the grocery store. Again, I closed it and returned it to Leifs two days after accepting the vehicle. I explained the issue and left it with them. They called two days later at the facility I was told that the door latch was worn and the spring did not function. I informed them that it worked perfectly before I brought it in and that the cover assembly was less than a year old, so how could it be worn out? I was informed that one technician inspected it, which was his conclusion. He said that I needed to close it and lock it to keep it closed. I informed ******* that I would take it back to the dealership. I would also charge ****'s for the repairs, as it was functioning before I brought it in. The dealership inspected it and found the bolt mounting the rails to the side had been damaged. and given an estimate of repair costs. I contacted ******* by phone and e-mail with the results. I did not hear from them at all. I proceeded with the repairs, and they were less than initially projected. Afterward, I went to Liefs with the receipt and conversed with *******, who told me he would give it to his supervisor. I did not hear anything from ****'s for over a week, so I emailed them regarding the claim as I could not reach ******* by phone. Two days later, I received an email refusing payment as it was damaged before arrival for the initial repairs. Now, two technicians have looked at it. Originally. They will not take any phone calls or emails to discuss the issue ti come to an amicable solution. From discussions with my insurance company and experience with these repairs, silence is their normal routine, and they ignore you, hoping to go away.

      The bed cover mechanisms were worn.  We confirmed this with you and several different technicians.  We did not work with or touch these mechanisms.  Leifs has been in business for 32 plus years. We have helped hundreds of thousands of northwest clients with their automotive problems. We are the Northwest's premier shop and largest independent shop in *******.       The company did affect the cover when working on the bed of the truck. The informed med during the process that they took the side off, to complete the work.  I pointed out their root cause and the installer root cause not the same, I have not had an issue since the installer foung the part was stripped when ***** accomplished work, They will not accept responsibilty for damages caused by them

      My truck was at Leifs for 2 months. I pointed out the repairs that needed to happen that i noticed, when they picked it up. **************** was terrible. My truck was returned to me and the repairs were not made. i had to drive back out to them to inspect my truck again and i pointed out the items that were not done, bent mud flap, flat spare tire from being rear-ended and still needed front end alignment. All of these items should have been caught, checked and repaired before sending my truck back. I asked them to draft up a repair quote and send to insurance for remaining items to be repaired. I have not heard back from them, i have emailed them 2 times and called them once and no response. Their commercials are misleading, they are not watching out for the customer. They don't even have the ability to make all of the repairs. They dont communicate with you once they have your vehicle. They are terrible.

      Leifs is the largest independent collision center in the country. We are on our fourth decade in business and pride ourselves on our consumer advocacy, quality and service.  We have repaired or serviced well over ******* vehicles and have a stellar reputation with over 97 percent satisfaction among our customers.  ************ put some air in your spare which was low, but not part of the repair or your concern when you dropped off vehicle.
      Remember when you stopped by and we Let you know your tires rub because they are oversize and were rubbing before the accident which we pointed to old rubbing area on other side of your vehicle. We let you know we would ask a second time on your behalf for an alignment and bent brace. This request was sent to insurance last week. The insurance company, the general,should contact you since you already have the vehicle and they will need to look at it again. We sent in supp to the Generals rep on ***** and advised them to contact you.

      My car has been sitting with a Leifs auto body collision since August 19, 2023. They are causing delays and neglecting to respond to communication from either myself or ****************** unless pushed. They still havent made any repairs. They still havent provided any information that my insurance is requesting including information concerning if the car is actually totaled or not which they are claiming it is. They have miss handled this service in every possible way and have caused extreme emotional distress and financial duress as I have had to have a rental car on top of everything else added into my budget which quite frankly I cannot afford. At this point they are holding my vehicle hostage because they have refused for the third week in a row to provide the fees required for my insurance to tow it to another auto body shop.I am requesting that they pay at least partial charges for the rental car that Ive had to continue to pay for due to delays directly caused by leafs collision auto body repair.

      The following is the timeline of events.  We do not repair vehicles until we receive authorization of what is going to be covered and by whom.  This problem is between the two division of liberty mutual that do not communicate and Sallows, a Liberty Mutual adjuster, being dishonest.


      8/30 Insurance tow in. hard right front hit. Vehicle non-movable
      9/1 Emailed *****, liberty mutual adjuster, est/photos.Told by her an other division is handling.  Adjusters name is ******* sent him estimate and photos.
      9/12 Received sheet back from *************************. 7kish short.
      9/12 emailed customer. Went over sheet. Advised she invoke her appraisal clause per ****** state Statues.  She agreed.  Waiting for customer.
      10/3 Followed up with customer about her invoking appraisal clause
      10/5 Received email from ************************* stating customer doesnt want to do AC due to having to pay for it. State law requires insurance to pay. He lied to customer.
      10/5 Emailed customer to confirm she cancelled the ***
      10/9 Received confirmation that customer revoked her *** *******.****@libertymutual also told customer they would be sending out an IA to inspect vehicle.
      10/13 Customer now is telling me she didnt revoke her AC but wants to have the vehicle moved to an LibMut DRP and they will pay the charges.
      10/13 received email from ************************* requesting charges.  Charges emailed to *************************.

      Trying to get an estimate for damages on my vehicle. Needed an autobody shop to do an estimate for insurance purposes. I came to discuss the terms, and they said the car had to stay with them for the estimate. I explained, I do not have the money to be paying their storage fees and I couldn't ****** on them not been capable of getting the insurance company to pay, they assured me they could since I was hit and that I shouldn't be worried about it. I mentioned it a second time before handing the keys.Come a week later, they say the insurance company refuses to pay and will be holding my car until I pay.I visited earlier this week and the only "repairs" done was taping the car shut to keep rain out and won't accept a repayment plan or credit card to cover it, probably to run the clock on storage fees.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The answer is not satisfactory.  I explained when trying to get the estimate that the insurance company was been difficult.  Their client claims I opened the door, which is false.

      I was closing the door, and there was enough space for the car infront of him to speed past me, he was hugging the right shoulder hard enough that if I wasn't in the process of closing the door, he would of ran my left mirror right out.  I have attached pictures taken in the crash, which I offered to show during the estimate, and was told wasn't necessary.

      I also explained during said meeting, that if there was a chance that I needed to take the bill I would need financing, since I need the car to make money and the bills had just emptied my bank account.  I was told that only the owner could authorize such, but you guys hung up the moment I asked to talk to him.  I proceeded to write this complaint the following afternoon, as it was clear there was no intention of giving me the option.  Which still shows on your website to this very evening, as shown on the screenshot attached.

      I dropped my 2021 Dodge Ram off at Leifs on 5/29/23 for a repair. I took my vehicle to Leifs because I would always hear their advertisement on the radio and after talking to them on the phone, they said they could start right away on my repairs. They sounded amazing, especially because they promised to return the vehicle to pre loss condition, highest quality work, factory parts, and pick your vehicle up and return it. Leifs will not converse on the phone about your vehicle. It is done by email only and if you do get someone to talk to you, they are rude. ****'s had my vehicle until 09/20/23, and I was able to pick it up on 09/22/23. They had my vehicle for 4 months and when I picked up my vehicle this is when c*** hit the fan. Leifs put the wrong rear bumper on my truck and how this came to my attention was during my inspection of the work and noticing that the rear bumper put on my truck was damaged (I paid for new one) and then I realized it wasn't even the correct bumper. The production manager met me out by vehicle and spoke to me like I was an idiot and I didn't know what I was talking about. He acknowledge the damage to the rear bumper but kept telling me it was the correct bumper, no plan to even fix the damage. Then I found a large scratch on my front passenger side of vehicle. This area was supposed to be new and new paint. I took my vehicle home, provided picture to the person handling my case at Leifs. I also went to the dealership I bought my truck to get proof that the bumper was not the correct one and emailed that information also. Today is 10/05/23, it has been 13 days since I picked up my truck. We have been told **** would contact us, a manager would contact us, we have sent several emails (NOTHING). When we call all we get is that there is no one for us to talk to or the manager isn't in or there is no direct line to talk to any management. Just a huge lie and our ***************** has tried multiple times to call and get the same run around.

      I am rejecting this response because: The response from Leifs is BOGUS! We have documentation of several calls with no return calls, or if a call is picked up, the receptionist (Receptionist A, no names are given, EVER) refuses to forward the call saying there is no direct line to a manager. NEVER one returned phone call to date. The last email communication was on 9/22/23 informing me that they would be in touch once they hear back from management. Today is 10/11/23, not a word back but they do respond to this BBB complaint. Leifs refuses to take calls from our insurance company that has called multiple times. Leifs has done a poor repair job on my vehicle, it did not come back as pre loss condition, as advertised. I have a bumper which is incorrect and looks like it's a used bumper with scratches all over it. My vehicle also has scratches that were not on it before I dropped it off. The dealership where I purchased my vehicle also verifies its the wrong bumper and I supplied the information to Leifs. My truck is a specialty truck called "built to serve" to honor our military, mine was for the Marines and only **** were manufactured. Leifs put the classic **** bumper on my truck but it is the wrong bumper. After searching online and seeing how many negative reviews that Leifs has through yelp, ******* BBB, and multiple other places online, I can't believe Leifs is still in business. After reading all the horrible reviews online, I don't feel alone in this horrible encounter with Leifs Auto Collision and Repair, it sounds like this is how they conduct business! They tell you **** will personally call you, that is a lie!!!! NO ONE EVER CALLS YOU BACK!!!

      Took my car to Leifs 7/31/23. There were no loaners available even though they advertise loaners. I was 40th on the list. They have now had my car for 2+months and Im not sure when I will get it back. They charge more and take longer than other body shops. They also tried to extort an additional 300$ that they said my insurance wouldnt pay. They said if I dont pay it then they will not fully warranty their work. I really just need help getting my car back. They have final payment from my insurance already. They falsely advertise loaners and fast track repair.

      *************** Repair is the worst company I've done business with.My son had an accident on April 7. I usually check out a business, but after hearing their commercials on the radio, we had his truck delivered directly to ********** on April 8, by the tow company. WORST idea ever!!******************* was our main contact, she was rude and very unprofessional. It seemed to extend the time when we called for updates. I'd leave messages with the receptionist (Tory the awful), the rudest person Ive dealt with. Because of the rude and unprofessional behavior from ***, we requested to work with someone else. Thats when we were introduced to *********************** (a verbally abusive gem), immediately he accused me of being difficult to work with because I called (once every month) checking on the truck. Leifs must be hard-up for employees if they hire this caliber of people to represent their business! We were told that Leifs had free loaner cars, that is a lie.Every interaction was a nightmare with Leifs, on Sept 5, 2023. We walked into Leifs Auto Center and told the receptionist that we there to pick up our truck. She asked us to wait in the lobby. First thing out of his ***'s mouth once he identified me was I didn't know you were coming, you never answered my email, I told him I did reply to his email on the Sept 1. While waiting for the transaction on the debit card, *********************** (little coward b!+ch) decided to verbally abuse me about my disability. When my friend called him on his remark he didnt even apologize to me. I feel abused and taken advantage of by Leifs. We are still trying to figure out what the final check from ***** was for as weve left a message with the insurance agent in charge of the claim. They are rude, condescending, unprofessional, and quite possibly thieves (waiting for insurance call). If you have been burned by Leifs please shoot me an email and lets make them accountable for their corrupt practices! *******************

For over 33 years we have helped over 100K consumers and held our standards to the highest possible when it comes to quality,service, and integrity.       It is their standard blip that is full of lies, they DON'T treat customers right, just read all the responses online and you will see a consistent similarity of all the reviews! They lie to you when you drop your vehicle off, they don't have loaner cars as their advertising suggests, they are extremely rude when you call ****** for updates, and hold your vehicle hostage if you don't agree with them or wanted to take it elsewhere for repairs after months of the run around! They don't do updates on a weekly or monthly basis, instead they treat you like the months it takes for cosmetics is normal in the industry (it is not)! They are confrontational and rude when you go to the business to pickup you vehicle, they discriminate against the handicapped! All facts that I have witnessed and been a victim of!

Fr over 32 years, we have been the premiere shop of choice for those who want a shop that does not work for the insurance companies.  Our satisfaction rating is 97 percent year after year. of course we have loaners.For all of our 32 plus years, we have had loaners. We are number one for a reason.

      On 7/29/2023 I was in a car accident. I had my vehicle towed to Leifs auto. On 8/23/2023 I picked up my items from the vehicle and released my vehicle to State Farm as my vehicle was a total loss by the inspector of statefarm. My policy only covered storage through 8/25/2023. I was billed for the storage of the vehicle past the 8/25/2023 because Leifs failed to communicate with State Farms request for payment In time according to State Farm and according to Leifs State Farm approved storage through 8/27/23. Or 8/28/ 2023 , according to State Farm. I then paid for the storage due to vehicle not getting picked up on 8/25/23. Even though the morning of 8/25/23 it was confirmed a tow was to pick up my vehicle. It stayed through 8/28/23. I was told they will not refund me the weekend storage . Leifs and State Farm are playing a back and forth blame game and not doing their jobs to stay within what I was avoiding. Me paying for additional storage . I am owed the difference of receiving $5934. To $5,604. Due to storage from my claim .

      Hi I went to Leifs my vehicle was in accident and they said they had no loaners and its a 2 months wait*** list which they advertised on radio say*** their are loaners available plus they would start on the repairs right away I said ok so next I know when I called to check on my repairs they were wait*** on the checks to clear from the insurance company and my truck was sitt*** *** the total lot and they kept tell*** me my vehicle is total so my insurance said no so they are fix*** it every time I call the women claim they dont know anyth*** and they are rude and they ask me to stop harass*** them to get information when is truck is gonna be done I said its been 5 months plus I contacted my loan company they want updates what go*** on plus my insurance has not heard from they either. As right now Im pay*** ******* a month on a rental plus my truck payment is additional **** I think Leifs should pay for my rental since they dont have loaners vehicle available since they are false advertis*** I want my truck fixed and repaid for my rental sorry I cant upload documents from my phone but i have documents Id there any you can help me please On June 13 I got a email say*** that the truck was be*** put back together and be go*** to the dealership but I did find out that they only have 1 tech 1 hour a day 4 hours a week so there is someth*** really wrong with this picture and they keep say*** if the insurance totaled the truck we wouldnt have to deal with this problem well its still a problem its needs to be done fix and go to the dealership and get fixed there to.As right now I have no clue what is go*** on or my truck is just sitt*** there

As you know, we are the only body shop in the market that stands up for your right to a pre-loss repair. We understand your insurer allegedly prompted you to write the BBB. If this is so, please let the BBB know.  We often see insurers attempt to undermine our reputation,using false reviews, as we are the only shop that is not submissive to insurers and their demands for cheap repairs, imitation parts and overlooking hidden damage.

      Looking through the notes and email exchanges, you are fully aware, as we have communicated with you,  that your vehicle is not a total.  We know you wanted it to total, but the insurance company has the last word and has not done so.  This is a 20k repair, two claims, two insurers.  Your vehicle still needs to go to the dealer for mechanical inspection and repairs.  all dealerships are back up due to the lack of techs. This is a fact across the ***.  It still may be several months before the dealership is done.
