I emailed Tornado Technologies (TT) on 6/27/25 at 10:56am asking for details about one of their services. TT replied the same day at 12:52pm, less than 2 hrs later, describing it for **** placed an order for the services online: 6/28/25, barrel work; order #****.I sent my barrel, return spring, slide with all internals and a reflex optic attached, via **** priority mail on 6/30/25. **** states package was deliver to TT, received by front desk, reception area, or mail room, at 12:29 on 7/3/25. I received an email from company on 7/10/25, informing me that they changed my order status to awaiting, and were looking forward to receiving my item.I emailed (orders@) on 7/11/25, telling them that the package had arrived on 7/3/25, and included my tracking info and screen shot. I emailed again on 7/16/25 (sales@), pointing out that I had not heard back from them and was concerned about the situation. I called their office on 7/21/25, received a voice mail system, stating that calls were not being accepted and to email them. I emailed them again on 7/21/25 at 12:05pm, informing them that I had still heard nothing and would be contacting the BBB if I did not hear back by the end of the next business day (7/22/25 17:00). Since they were able to reply to my pre-order inquiry (sent to the same email address) within 2hr, a full day (additional to the previous 10 days is a reasonable response time. It is now 7/23/25 and I have still heard nothing from them. I would like the company to let me know what has happened to my property, if they have lost it, and how they intend to either replace the lost items or provide sufficient compensation for my lost property. Amount stated below is based on a used slide on **** for $120, Barrel & spring on **** for $100, Slide work for optic $150, and Holosun HS507K-X2 2MOA Dot w/ 32MOA Circle $350. Totaling $720. I dont believe they have charged me for their services yet.Initial Complaint

On July 8th. of 2024 I sent a part to the business to be machined. They sent me conformation that they received it on July 30th. 2024. My order number was given to me ( 6633 ) on that date. I have called and sent e-mails for updates in the last month and have not received any response. Shipped of a slide/barrel for my ******** 1911 - 380 for threading services. My item was delivered two weeks ago, yet the website states "awaiting service item from customer". I've attempted to email/call for updates/additional information numerous times without any response. I'd like to have my item returned and money refunded ASAP should this not be completed. Shipped barrel to be threaded. Order was placed July 29, 2024 and credit card charged $170.00. Received email on July 29th stating item was identified as arrived but did not and changed to waiting on item. **** tracking identified item delivered August 6th. Current website of this business says it can modify a pistol barrel to fit a commerical supprssor so I sent the pistol barrel and its slide to be worked on and no information has come forth as to status but the credit card has been charged. Order placed 3/25/24 for $216.50, for barrel threading service. Service item bolt action rifle barreled action valued $600 sent and confirmed received by tracking. Sent part have work done and paid $185 Dec 2022. Received email Feb 2, 2023 letting me know my order (6216) had been received by tornado technology. This is the last I have heard. I have sent several emails and made phone calls to no avail.Initial Complaint

On 12/08/2023 I sent a barrel and slide as directed by the website via **** to TornadoTechnologies. My credit card was used to pay the $153.00 fee for the work to be done. I was supposed to receive an email when the items were delivered to TT. Using my tracking number from the ****, I saw that the items were delivered to the receptionist desk on 12/11/2023. After repeated attempts by email, and phone; no one will respond. After seeing all the negative posts on here; how is this business still open? I want my fee and parts back.
