Worst possible option for a QR code. The company I work for (small business) bought this for business cards and then we cancelled our subscription immediately. They are now charging us $35 a month EVEN THOUGH WE DON'T USE THE SERVICE ANYMORE!! I have tried reaching out to them for 3 months now and we are still being charged. They just keep telling us our account is not active and we shouldn't be charged next month... Until the next month rolls around and we get another charge! Absolute scam. Now we will have to cancel our card or seek legal action.

1 star is pushing it. I would rather give 0.Worst business and customer service I have ever dealt with. We built a QR code for out wedding invites and then lost all access to it after signing up to pay $35 a month. They take days-weeks to respond to anything. After asking several times to cancel it we finally got someone saying it was cancelled. Here we are two months later and we are still being charged. I have asked again for it to be canceled and for a refund, I have told them this time if it is not I will be pursing legal action.

The promote free static QR codes and free trial on dynamic codes, but when you register for a static QR code, it automatically sets up a dynamic one. I had tried to create a static code for my wedding invitations, but then got a notice (after they were sent out) that it was deactivated unless I paid a fee. I reached out to their customer service and was offered a $50 buyout or $35 monthly. I opted the $50 one time payment and thought it was done. Then, in the months of planning a wedding and starting graduate school, i didn't notice that they continued to collect $35 off my account monthly. Nearly a year later I noticed the charge and brought it to their attention thinking it was a technical error. After a few emails back and forth, they refused to reimburse beyond the most recent three months. I tried to work it out with them but they started ignoring me.

The ** code wasnt working after I paid so I asked for a refund. The company stopped responding. I charged back my card, and the company responded to the chargeback saying they already refunded me, which they did not. So then I emailed them again asking for my refund, which they ghosted me again on.

I tried QR.io free trial and it worked find for a month but at the end of the free trial my qr code was deactivated, so I had to pay for a subscription to activate it again. I was giving three options for payment. Out of the three options, I purchased the "Most Popular 60% Annually Plan for ***** /mo". (I was tricked into paying $239.40 for the Annually instead of ***** per month. So they took the full 12 months payment $239.40 from my debit card at once instead of the ***** per month amount, and there is no refund! All of a sudden my QR Code stopped working "404 Page *** Found!" I filled out a Technical Issue request email twice. I received an email responding to my request for help but my QR Code still don't work. This a very deceptive business with little to no service. They just took my money and I have a inoperational QR Code on my posters for my scheduled events in 4 days!Do not use this business!I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!

Scam. Same issues as others here. Advertised as free then disabled account after free trial that is unadvertised. Then the ** code function is held hostage for exorbitant prices.

Do not use them. Period.Classic bait and switch. Their FAQs say the static ** codes are free and will remain active after your free trial ends. What they don't tell you is that they make your codes into dynamic codes by default. After 7 days, you get an email saying your codes have all been deactivated but you can reactivate them for a mere $35/month. It's unconscionable. They have me hostage for now because the ** codes I made are out in the world and I need them to work until I can reissue the documents with ** codes from a better company.

After printing and sending hundreds of invites, they notify me that someone has scanned a deactivated QR and I need to pay them monthly to keep it active. While I could have made it a "static" QR code instead of a "flexible" one and avoided the subscription, it now cannot be unchanged. I will be out over 200 dollars for a service I don't even need. They make this mistake way too easy. I definitely feel scammed. I hope others don't fall for this mistake as I did!

They claim to generate 100% free QR codes. I downloaded mine to direct people to a production music website that I own. I had them printed on my business cards for a production music event. Two weeks later, my QR codes are disabled and I'm told that I have to pay $35 per month to keep the code active. So NOW... the music library owners and music managers will be taken nowhere when they try to listen to my music. If one searches for "100% free QR code generator", the first website that shows up is QR.IO.

They do not disclose that QR codes are not FREE. Very misleading and deceiving. Do not use this company, as soon as they give you the free q r code, you will be charged to use. The charges are Never disclosed, ************ needs to be investigated for not being forthcoming on business practices.
