Avoid this company at all costs. Was told that I was signing up for a free trail and was charged $35. I sent them an email asking them to delete my account which they said they did. Was charged the next month again for $35 and had to request a refund. Nothing but trouble and not worth your time in the slightest

It appeared I was signing up for a free trial of their site ************************** that would convert to a month-by-month subscription if I did not cancel (which is a common online business practice), but they immediately charged me a whole year's subscription. I realized the mistake immediately and immediately reached out, being sure to not use the service at all. The company absolutely refuses to refund my money. I never used the service and reached out within minutes of the error.

We used their online service 2 years ago (9/9/22). We were unaware that they were charging us a monthly $35 fee. We tried calling them and even exchanged emails before they stopped responding in June of 2024. Looking into them, they have tricked many other customers out of many hundreds (over $800 in my case), simply because of their fraud of adding a recurring fee without notice, coupled with my lack of watching my expenses more carefully. The biggest issue I have is the fact that they keep charging us despite our written requests to cancel (multiple) after having not used their service in 23 months.

Last September I used my personal **** to pay for a subscription for my employer with QR code generator. I have since left the employer and have contacted QR code generator to request they delete all of my personal information as I do not consent to them retaining it. They would not remove it as I am not the account owner. I do not consent to QR code generator nor more former employer having or using my credit card or private information. This has been expressed to QR Code generator in writing and they are unwilling to remove the information accordingly. The next annual subscription amount is due to be collected in September.

I used QR.io to generate a ** code. I did so during the 7 day trial period and I was not informed that there was going to be a charge to continue to have the ** code active. Like many others I used this code on printed materials, now instead of linking to my website it goes to an error page and is essentially being held hostage until I pay $35 per month. There is nothing in their marketing or follow up emails that tell you this is going to happen until after the 7 day period ends. This is deceptive practices and is very frustrating. I do not want to pay for their services and I would not have agreed to it if it were presented. Now I have to print new materials with a ** code company that will not extort mony from me.

The website is designed to simply generate a ** code. Many websites similar do this for free. There is no advertisement or pricing or anything that alludes to it being a subscription service. Only hidden in their ***, which isn't something that you need for a site such as this. For instance, if a website allows you to search for products, you're not going to read the *** or the website. Their business model revolves around users generating ** codes. Qr codes usually are included in business or apps. They provide a 7 day trial, of which you learn when your ** is disabled. They do this so unsuspecting users whom print ** codes on business pamphlets, business cards, etc that are reliant on the ** code. Then they ask for $350 a year or 35 a month for a service other sites provide for free

A little over a week ago I wanted to create a ** code to my website that I could add to some business cards I wanted to print. The top result was for qr.io. The search result for qr.io said that I could generate a ** code for free so I clicked the link and the first page that pops up is to create a ** code. So I created a good and selected to download but it asked that I sign up first. So I signed up. It didn't say anything about a free trial, that I was creating a dynamic ** code and not a static, or that I was using premium features. After seven days I got an email from qr.io stating that I was no longer able to use that ** code unless I paid for their premium subscription. Even on their FAQ page that mentions their subscription service it doesn't state what service are in fact premium. I feel like I was completely scammed. I already printed the business cards and now they are worthless. Their site should be required to clearly state which services are premium and which are not as well as the fact that if you create a dynamic ** code that when signing up you need to acknowledge that you are signing up for a 7 day trial after which time the ** code will no longer work. After a quick search on Reddit I see that many people have lost a lot of money printing ** codes made on qr.io only to find out the same as me that they can't use them unless they pay. qr.io should be required to update their website to no longer scam people into using their premium service.
