Milestone MAstercard uses Russian Hackers to spam Americans for their bad credit card. I receive 35 to 100 spam emails a day from Milestone Mastercard, I traced the emails to a ******* caf used by hackers. Why does a credit card company need Russian Hackers???? PLEASE MAKE THEM STOPBusiness Response

This company is illegally robo-calling my phone multiple times a day. I have never opened any accounts with this company. I have never made any type of inquiry with this company, and I never wish to do business with this company. I called them to let them know I am not a customer and to stop calling, and the agent asked me for my Social Security number. This looks like a scam to me. The phone calls have continued. This is harassment and is illegal.Business Response

I applied for the Destiny Mastercard on the Credit Karma app because the app suggested it as me having excellent approval odds, it also advertised that the Destiny card was for people with less than perfect credit and it had a credit limit of $700, which I perceived as phenomenal...so I applied and was approved, however upon activating my card on destinycard,com/activate I noticed that my credit limit was $300 and I called Genesis FS card services/Destiny mastercard and informed them of the issue, I was told that my credit limit would NOT be raised and I am not interested in having a card with a $300 limit, so I complained to them about false advertising and closed the account on July 12, 2023. Genesis FS card services not only false advertised a $700 credit limit for people with less than perfect credit, they also placed a hard inquiry on my credit report and engaged in predatory, illegal and unethical business practices. I want them to be investigated and made to honor their agreement of $700 credit limit or remove the hard inquiry from my credit report.Business Response

For brevity, I am including this information in bullet form:1. On Credit Karma, my wife found a credit card application.2. She applied, and was accepted, with a credit limit of $300.3. There was nothing in the application that my wife would be charged interest, including the fact that my wife never received the credit card, even after numerous attempts to do so!4. My wife, obviously, could never use the card, and yet, my wife received a bill for $64.03 which was interest owed on the account. Her credit limit was decreased by the interest owed, even though there were no monetary transactions on the bill! I have provided the evidence which incontrovertibly proves my point!5. As a result of what would be, at best, several disconnects within this company's systems, my wife is very concerned where a delinquency could be reported to a credit agency, where no such delinquency exists!6. I will tell you what is the only settlement points that will be accepted, and upon good faith agreement to these resolutions, no further action will be taken, although there are substantive evidence for it!A. All records relative to this account will be destroyed as if they never took place! (the account number allegedly ends in 3940!)B. My wife's fake account will be immediately ended!C. There will be no money owed, and in return, upon sufficient proof of this good faith promise, I will even sign an NDA, protecting both sides from actionable circumstances of which there are many!D. You will not engage any collection practices on what amounts to be a fraudulent debt!E. You may not report this to a credit agency!F. I have already discussed this at length with the *******, ***** office, and based upon their most valued assistance, I believe that this is the best course of action for all parties concerned!G. If you agree to all of these good faith resolutions, and provide evidence you agree, including an NDA if necessary, than I will consider the matter closed, and wish you well!Business Response

I have read the next step in my negotiation with Genesis FS Card Services, Inc., and I believe that we can come to an equitable solution! I understand in their last response, that they wish to speak with my wife, but they already know that all negotiations go through me. That was established when these negotiations began, and that is how we will continue; it is in their best interests that this will continue! At this time, I am willing to hold them harmless, since I believe that this was a great misunderstanding between Genesis FS Card Services and Milestone, whom they serve as their billing agent. In their communication back to the BBB, they have indicated they understand the resolution, so all I need from them is a good faith letter indicating that they will not pursue further payment of interest fees, that they will destroy any alleged account information relative to this case, and that they will not contact any credit card bureau concerning an account that does not actually exist, since no credit card was issued, personal information relative to this account is not correct, and no where within any specimen issued by Milestone, meaning that there is a per diem and per annum interest rate calculated beyond the usual APR, was there any mention that interest is calculated from the point of acceptance!
I appreciate how out negotiation has the potentiality of turning out, and this is not a very hard request to ****** Once they provide their good faith letter to me, with each resolution satisfied, I will consider that satisfactory, and I will sign the resolution letter from the BBB, and I will consider the matter closed!

Late June, I received a text message that I had a random charge attempt. It was blocked. Several days later, I get a letter in the mail that my address has been changed and they sent the notice to the old address. I have not moved in 13 years and have no plans to do so. I called immediately. I'm told on the phone that nothing has been changed on my account however, my account has been locked due to potential "account takeover" and I have to fax a copy of my id over to them. This was done two weeks ago. I have not heard anything. I am unable to log into my account to make my minimum payment. The only way to get ahold of someone is to sit on hold forever.Business Response

I previously called Genesis card services on July 5 2023 after I was received an annual renew notice in the mail for the two accounts I currently have with them. One is a Destiny Card ending in **** and another is Indigo Card ending in ****. These accounts are inaccurately reported on my consumer report. I continued to explain to them that I got there letter. But I went on to explain to them that I didnt receive my privacy notice disclosures; which under the **** is a required disclosure which shouldve be given to me the consumer at the beginning of our contractual relationship. The agent of Genesis went on to tell me that it isnt there policy to issue privacy notices to customers. After being on the phone with the agent for some minutes; I then referred the agent that under the **** pursuant 15 USC 6803(a) Disclosure of institution privacy policy; specifically under (a) Disclosures required: At the time of establishing a customer relationship with a consumer and not less than annually during the continuation of such relationship, a financial institution shall provide a clear and conspicuous disclosure to such consumer, in writing or in electronic form or other form permitted by the regulations prescribed under section **** of this title, of such financial institutions policies and practices with respect to. So if this is a requirement under the **** how is it not apart of their policy to issue a privacy notice. If it is required that this notice be issued at the time of our relationship being established. And as for pursuant 15 USC 6802(a)(b) with respect to disclosures of personal information. (a) Notice requirement Except as otherwise provided in this subchapter, a financial institution may not, directly or through any affiliate, disclose to a nonaffiliated third party any nonpublic personal information. I will like to be mailed all my privacy notices including my opt out disclosures with respect to the **** and my protected consumer rights.Business Response

Iv been getting bills from genises after visiting aspen dental. I never had any work done whatsoever. Yet genesis claims I owe them *******. ** tried to call and resolve but have gotten nowhere and been informed iv been reported to the credit bureau. I set up 3 monthly payments so my card wouldnt be charged off. The person I set up the payments with set up 3 scheduled payments from my bank acct. Starting June 3rd. The last week of June I received an email saying if I didnt pay the past due balance right then, the account would be charged off. I called immediately, and the customer representative said no you have a scheduled payment for July 3rd as long as the payment goes through, and isnt bounced back from your bank your account will not be charged off. After talking to 3/4 representatives and an Account Manager, they didnt pull the payment. I think the charge of department over rode the payment and charged off the account. Today(7/9/2023) I received a text from credit Karma about a charge off. I called them today and it wasnt resolved and I need to call back to talk to the charge off department. On June 3rd they also took not only the $47 dollar payment, they pulled a separate $20 dollar payment, that wasnt applied to my account. Picture of the extra $20 attached.I would like to know where that money is and what did they do with it and where did it go? Thats theft, it wasnt authorized.Business Response

I was approved for this credit card. I waited a lot longer than the time I was told it would arrive. It never did. So I would call to find out where my card was. They didn't get my mailing address right so we fixed it. So I waited even longer for the card. Never came. But they charged me $75 for the card as well as reporting that I owe them for this card that I never received. Now it states I'm using the card but I never received it. I received it today and they tell me they blocked my card and that I need to wait additional time to mail in documents and additional time to wait for their response. They even lowered my credit score. Now they closed my account that I never opened and it is reported on my credit.Business Response
