Hello, on 5-07, I received a call/ notification from QuickBooks Intuit that my account had been hacked and they were going to shut my account down. I am a small business myself and use QuickBooks to keep track of expenses and for any wholesale vendors. I remember having a few open invoices left and they completely just shut my account down. They allowed my account to be hacked for over $5200. The hacker was able to get into my account and past my 2 step authentication process by QuickBooks Intuit, make a fake invoice to themselves, and pay it out with a stolen credit card. The hackers then changed the merchant processing for deposits to a gift card debit card and QuickBooks allowed this. They were able to quickly make that deposit and then changed the processing back to my account. I was completely locked out and unable to do anything as QuickBooks closed this account out but left my processing open for some reason? They could not release any details to me or give me the name/ debit card info, or fake invoice names that were used. They allowed for my information to get stolen along with the business info/ tax info. Whoever had their credit card stolen, made a report and reversed stop the payment and now QuickBooks took that money out of my account instead of the hackers debit deposit card they used. I have gotten no where with talking to a legal team member from QuickBooks Intuit. I am reaching out to inform you that they are just a platform that steals small businesses money. They have NO answers for me and are saying its the merchants responsible (me). I had $5200 stolen out of my account for FRAUD! They allow hackers to just go in and compact accounts to get free money. They allowed for the security to be disabled and for these hackers to slide in. They are not refunding my money to my business account and have no answers for me. They told me its out of their hands. I have a small business to run, checks pending, and a family to care for. Docs attached.

Our account has been hacked since 04/01/2024. That is the same time we initially called quickbooks, and spoke to someone and has given us case#'s after case#'s that did not mean anything. We have been since, calling daily as well and everytime we spoke to someone, they claim that the case#'s was either none existent or no notes to our inquiry. Ever since we discovered that our account has been hacked, we also lost money and most importantly, we lost our access to our account within quick books including our client info. We have strangers calling us that is being billed by us from out of state that we do not even know. We have called tirelessly spending at least 2 hours per day, to no resolution. Requesting for management to assist is none existent and multiple call back request has not been fulfilled. We just need some resolution to our account and to have access back to our clients as this is the whole business continuity.

I added the receipt to this. We also had about a two hour phone conversation which they just stopped responding on and just left me sitting on the line and not responding.

I had major issues with this company from the beginning, at first I understood but now things have gotten ridiculous. I started my service with quickbooks and was collecting deposits from a couple of clients. Because my account was new, they were placed on hold. It was frustrating but I understood. 5 days went by until I had information on my account that said they needed more information from me. I provided the information, and waited 2 more days. After the 2 days, they asked for MORE information, and still had me waiting longer than another 2 days. I contact customer service multiple times through all this and they are completely cut off from any sort of real support, and were not able to connect me to a manager. There was no email or phone number they could give me to connect me with somebody who could actually make any sort of changes or impact.I called again and one customer service agent actually mentioned this is going on with a lot of people and recommend I do not use quickbooks services. She also told me to have my customer dispute the charge.I did that, and my customer was denied the dispute and neither of us have the money. I contact you all again to get my clients money back, and now I am being told it won't be return for 30 days.At this point the money isn't even the main concern. Its the fact that the people I talk to have no real way to make an impact of change for my issue, or connect me with somebody who could. I believe this is illegal? They also, half way through all this were removing features from my account. I started out with a "deposits" tab that was removed, and I could no longer check ***********. You will also see in the images that attached, that if I click certain things to get more information on the issue, the page has 404'd and isn't even available. This highly effected my business and now I have to talk to my client. Who knows how much this effects things in the long term for my business.

I am a CPA with a Masters of Management Degree from Northwestern ***********************************. I decided to launch my own Accounting / Bookkeeping firm and spent a lot of time and energy getting certified in QB Pro Advisor so my profile would be published on the *** site and help kick start my firm. I found out today that QB is changing their Tier structure and my profile will be unpublished because I do not have sufficient points based on new *** point structure. I am in disbelief, in despair and certainly seriously depressed that I expended all that effort only to see my dream of starting my own company crumble around me because I can't possibly get the points needed to remain published. It was truly a dream now completely gone. QB should grandfather in published profiles that occurred before the point structure change not derail someone's dream

On 12/20/23 I created a Quickbooks online account and setup the quickbooks checking they provide through ************** At the time the checking account was approved and the checking account card was issued. On 12/21/23 Quickbooks charged my personal account for the recurring $129.85/month. This same day, a client made a payment of $450 that was deposited into the GreenDot checking account. On 12/22/23 a merchant account fee was charged to the funds in the GreenDot account of $13.46 On 12/26 my clients reported they were unable to make payments through the Quickbooks invoice they received. On 12/26 I received an e-mail from Quickbooks stating my GreenDot checking account was closed successfully. On 12/27 I contacted Quickbooks and was advised the account was closed for business decisions. I requested a callback for further clarification on what the business decisions were and how to retrieve my money out of the GreenDot checking account. They stated at the time that someone will contact me within 48 hours to clarify and provide resolution. At that time they also put me into contact with a GreenDot representative. The GreenDot representative stated Quickbooks shut down the account and would also have someone call me back within 48 hours. On 1/8/2024 I still had not heard back from Quickbooks or GreenDot so I called back again. I was informed by multiple departments that they will again escalate my complaints. I was then connected to a another Quickbooks member that stated the account was closed for business reasons and he would not be able to tell me why and that no one in the company could give me that information. I was also told that the money would be kept as a security deposit and may or may not be returned in an unknown amount of time. They have no offered a resolution or a refund at this time.
