      Bought a custom made couch last year. Sales person did not tell us the difference between plush and firm. So we opted for plush. Turns out plush is filled with feathers that stick you from every direction and the house is littered with feathers. Worst of all when you get off couch there is a depression that looks like an elephant was sitting there.

      Free delivery is a total lie. I asked twice, both the store manager and salesman said delivery was free. After leaving the store I noticed a charge of $179 for delivery. The furniture was placed in front of my garage door which is considered a free curbside drop off delivery. Very sneaky, unprofessional, and thievery. I'll never step into a Mathis Brothers establishment ever again.

      Looking at Mr. ******** purchase, there was not a delivery fee charged. The delivery was free doorstep dropoff delivery. There is not a charge for $179. Please send your receipt to *************************************************** and we'd be happy to go over it with you. Thank you.

      I purchased an $1800 recliner January 27. The leather stretched on the seat and armrests had indentations on them. We purchased the protection plan. They agreed to replace the chair. We did not want the same chair again so picked out a different chair that was $2178 dollars but within the 3 months that we had the chair they had raised the price to $2178. We had to pay a difference of $300 out of pocket because THEIR chair failed to hold up for 3 months. They offered to exchange even up if we would accept the same chair. We opted to pick a different chair (same price the original is priced at now). Why should we have to pay more because of the quality of their chair.. I have purchased a lot of furniture from them and was actually going to purchase a coffee table and end tables today but they no longer will get my business. I will be telling everyone I know about there less then satisfactory customer service.

      I bought 2 $800 chairs from Mathis Outlet and picked them up at the distribution center. After they loaded my chairs I asked if they needed to tie them down and they said NO. Not a mile from the store down **** one flies out of my truck. I was able to get it back in the truck and got it home to discover it damaged. They said I had to bring it back today for them to look at it to see if they would replace it!!!!!!!!!!!!

      We bought a ******** recliner sofa on special order to get the fabric color we liked. We worked with a really personable salesman *** and had a chance to visit with the super friendly and totally knowledgeable sales floor manager *** ***** I gave *** **** the nickname **** **** ** *** ******" Delivery from the factory in ******** came faster than expected. The two Mathis delivery men were experienced and fast. We made sure all was in perfect order and it was. We give the entire experience at Mathis Home five stars.

      What a disappointing experience this turned out to be. While the in-store shopping and interaction with the salesperson were positive, it was completely overshadowed by the poor performance of the delivery team. Despite arranging for inside delivery with the salesperson (not set up, just inside rop off) , the delivery team was unprofessional, dismissive, and unwilling to move the boxes just two feet beyond the front door.This was especially frustrating given that this was my third purchase from the store, with a total value exceeding $20,000. To make matters worse, when I called the store to address the issue, the salesperson I had worked with was unavailable. The sales manager, who initially promised to call me back, failed to follow through. When I finally managed to reach her, instead of resolving the problem, she made the situation worse with excuses. While she was polite, her lack of experience in handling customer concerns was *********** the end, I decided to cancel both my current order and an upcoming one. Their claims of "free delivery" are misleadingthe service falls far short of expectations.

      We apologize for any confusion with regards to our delivery. We also apologize that Mr. ******* didn't get the type of service we both expect. With regards to delivery, our free delivery is doorstep drop off, where we drop off the item(s) at the front door or in the garage while still in original factory packaging. We offer this for customers who want to take advantage of a free offering, but are also comfortable in bringing in the items themselves. If we were to bring items inside, it adds additional risks which include more costs, etc. That is why we also offer our Elite delivery where we bring items inside. Again, we apologize if this was not made clear and that it resulted in frustration.

      horrible. No one knows whats up. they lie and continue to promote false advertisement. THERE IS NO FREE DELIVERY oh wait if you pay lol or of your in the zone then it's free but no one knows that until you buy

      ***** - We're sorry if there was confusion on our free delivery. We actually do have free delivery!! It is Doorstep Dropoff delivery where we place the item(s) outside your front door or in the garage while still in the manufacturer packaging. You do have to be in an area where we have scheduled routes which covers most of the state and even into *****, ******, ********, ******** and **********. You don't have to wait until you buy to ask anything, we'll gladly answer any questions you have at any time. If you're in the zip code that is listed with your review, then we deliver in that area every day except Wednesdays. If there was confusion on where you need delivery, please let us know. Thank you.

      Don't trust the home delivery times and dates. The delivery drivers will try whichever route their gps tells them saves the most time, and if that route is an unsafe backroad they will just say it was undeliverable instead of taking an extra 5 minutes to find safer road conditions. The company does not have an internal policy to prevent drivers from doing this, and even if you call and to give them proper directions to your house, they will not come back if they have moved on by even 1 stop on their route. You will not know about any of this until they notify you that they have moved on. You will even be notified that your delivery is only 5 minutes away only to learn later that your delivery is canceled. The service *** was gracious enough to schedule us for a next day redelivery but since we were already p***ared for the correct day, our toddler does not have a usable bed tonight.

      I have been a Mathis Brothers customer for many years. The last sales associate we had was very distasteful. A problem occurred with the on-line order. He drugged his feet regarding the matter. When he was confronted his customer service was negative. It appears he refuses to work with us. Terrible. horrible customer service!!

      Do not ever ever purchase the product replacement the salesman lie about the coverage when you have an issue on the internal materials of a product they say its NOT covered.

      We apologize if there was any miscommunication on the furniture protection plan. This plan is an accident plan that covers an accidental rip, stain, burn, tear, puncture, etc. It is not an extension of the manufacturer's warranty. If your cushions are breaking down and your item is still covered by the manufacturer warranty, we'd be happy to take care of it. Again, we hate to hear that you're having an issue with your item, but we honestly believe there was a misunderstanding. Our **** have extensive training on the protection plan.
