      My wife and I bought a bedroom suite on March 25, 2024 from Mathis Brothers and set a delivery and set-up date for April 2, 2024. When they delivered the furniture they did not have the hardware to the bed frame we purchased and could not assemble the bed, so we had to schedule another day for them to come finish the set up. We set that day for today, Saturday, April 6, 2024. When they just arrived, they realized that the warehouse sent them here with the incorrect hardware, so once again, they couldn't get our bed put together and it is still leaning against our bedroom wall. Now they are telling us it will be next week before someone can bring the correct hardware. What is so amazing is that they know what bed we bought so how is it they send the wrong hardware in the first place? Whoever is working in their warehouse is totally incompenent and should be fired! This is ridiculous!

      We apologize for the inconvenience of receiving the bed without hardware. Although this is rare, when we run into this it's typically unintentionally left out of the packaging from the manufacturer. In order to expedite the issue, if we don't have the piece in stock, we try hardware that is from the same manufacturer. Unfortunately, it sounds like this bed needs different hardware. It has been ordered from the manufacturer and as soon as it arrives, we will be out ASAP to have it installed. Again, we apologize for the issues.

      Rep asked for our deed then $5000 deposit to hold order while checking freight cost. Very strange and unusual practices. Intellibed was found on this website when Mattress Firm confirmed that company was bought out by Purple Mattress and no longer available. One strange practice after another, but when she requested a deposit, scam came to my head and I cancel all my orders.

      We're sorry to hear ************** had negative thoughts on her recent order. She was wanting us to deliver a good amount of furniture to a different address than the billing address of her credit card. This always brings up warning signs of fraud. To confirm her order wasn't fraud, we asked if she could provide proof that the new address was hers. There wasn't any sort of scam. With regards to the Intellibed, it was not purchased by Purple. We actually manufacture Intellibeds at our Mathis Manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City!! ************** received some bad information from Mattress Firm.We'd still be happy to help **************, we just had to have proof that the address she wanted us to deliver to was actually hers.

      In summer of 2021 we bought a set of furniture from ****** (who is owned by Mathis). The rocker/swivel/recliner broke almost immediately. We had it repaired many times. They offered us another chair of equal value with a time limit to pick. While this was during a high peak COVID time, we could not pick one from the showroom floor and had to choose one from the digital book. We were advised the warranty would transfer. The new rocker/recliner chair came. This chair has come apart at the seams. The foot rest broke. It has received multiple repairs. In April 2023, they didn't repair it but gave us a whole new bottom of the chair. Now they will not stand behind a new piece of furniture less than a year old not a repair, but a brand new bottom. Now they will not warranty the replaced bottom with the factory warranty. We had paid for extra warranties but they acknowledge they do not recognize warranties, only the factory warranty. We have called multiple times, have been told that a manager would call us back, and still have not heard back from anybody or received a resolution. We bought the cleaning plan and upon purchase was told there are no restrictions to the use. When we called to use the plan, we discovered it is a third party, not local, and does not cover cleaning the furniture. You cannot get your money back unless it is prorated or unless you wait five years after purchase of the plan, then you can request the full money back. **************** has just said Oh Well. DO NOT BUY YOUR FURNITURE FROM THIS PLACE. LITERALLY, SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE!

      I left a review on ****** but I wanted to ensure the ongoing issues are NOT corrected. I ordered a desk that was almost $2,000. for my office. I needed the desk no later than 3 weeks as I had a new employee starting and not having it would leave me, the owner of my company, without a desk. The Mathis sales rep in ***** knew my concern, which was discussed multiple times during the sale, of the delivery not being available before 3 weeks. He assured me I would get it in time to not leave me without a desk. Well that day came and went and still no desk. This was in June of 2023 and long story short I did not get the desk until December 2023 nearly 9 months later. Not once did anyone answer my questions when I called nor did anyone call me back. The sales rep stopped answering my questions via text and when I called to complain the front desk person treated me as if I had some nerve asking where my item was. They have a nifty annual fee now that I emailed them to cancel in January ****. When I did they asked me why I was cancelling. This is the first time anyone inquired about my concerns, so I emailed her letting her know why. A manager called me back and said they had tried to call me numerous times but I did not answer; however, no one else has had any issue contacting me, I have had the same number since early *************************************************************************************************** for delivery, nor did I ever receive a voice mail from them.I would RUN from this company. I was basically blamed for their lack of service and communication and I would say almost intimidated to not inquire about it. I found they were bullies and I will NEVER do business with them again. The bad part is, if they would have just been honest with me or addressed my concern I would not feel like this and would keep shopping there. They have a long way to go to make it, they will be out of business if they keep on this track. Go anywhere else but here!

      I have never had such a bad experience dealing with a product or customer service in my life. I order a pillow online for a gift. I ordered it on January 20th and received a confirmation email with a confirmation number and instructions on where to pick it up. I go to pick it up on a Thursday and they dont have any order in the system. I go inside and the young lady talks to online sales. They tell her to have me wait a minute and they would call me about it. They saw my order in the system. I waited for thirty minutes and finally had to go back to work. She called them back and assured me that they would call me. Fast forward to Saturday and still no call. I call them and speak to someone who told me if I wanted to drive to ***** to pick it up, they had one. I go up there and no pillow. They dont know anything about it and swear they dont have one. I call back on Saturday and the gentleman said that someone would call me back. I even asked for a promise since I had heard that already. He ASSURED me since he was right there that someone would call me back. Fast forward to Monday and no one called me back. So.I call back and the associate that I spoke to was off and would be back Tuesday. I call Tuesday and hes not there. By this time, I think I must be getting punker. Keep in mind, the birthday was Sunday so Im without that gift. The associate told me that he would call me back on Wednesday and you guessed it!! No call back. I had to call. Now *** just asked for my money back because this is not even worth the frustration that I keep going through. Very very disappointing! No one seemed to care to make it right either, which I think is where they are lacking.

      I ordered from them. Never received a confirmation for my purchase. Went to get into my account to see when my item would be delivered. Said my password is not working. Went to reset my password, they never sent me an email to do so. I have no way to check on my item. They had no problem charging my card and taking my money, with nothing in return. How is one suppose to know if they will even receive the purchase? I sent a message, no response. Why would you not allow someone to check on their purchase or get into their account, but WILL charge you for a purchase, but have nothing to be able to check the status or confirm you purchased anything?CHECK all reviews, before purchasing from a company!!

      Looks like you were unable to access your purchase because the wrong email address was added when placing the order online. In comparing the email address on this review and the email address on the account, there are 2 letters missing. Therefore, this would be why you didn't receive a confirmation email as well. Looks like the bed is being delivered on Thursday, Feb. 1. Let us know if there are any further questions.

      Terrible quality! Only purchase furniture from Mathis if you dont plan to use it. So disappointed I got rid of my 20year old pottery barn table for this garbage. Bought a dining table 6 months ago and used it 1 time for Christmas dinner, two drops if soup fell into table, when I went to wipe clean the finish in both spots wiped completely off to the natural wood. Very disappointing to say the least. I let the issue go. Then a few weeks later a bottle cap was left on the table. Picked it up to find the finish was eaten away to the natural wood again!! Reached out and was told no one can repair it and they will not allow me to return as it is not a manufacturer defect. To my knowledge the manufacturer put a finish/seal on the table that is clearly subpar, so bad that you cant get one spot of food on it. I would argue that the finish/seal is defective, hence a manufacturer defect. The result, nothing they can do, offered me a 10% credit. So now I am stuck with a terrible quality table that I am afraid to use as this table was apparently not meant to eaten from. It would be nice of them to disclose that they use a product similar to that of water based finger paint and that eating at or spilling on it will cause the finish to dissolve. Thanks Mathis for taking advantage if people and offering terrible solutions to your poor quality furniture. We will never shop with this company again.

      Mathis brothers do not support our military members! Their response to “is there a military discount” gets answered from management, “NO they volunteered”! WOW! I volunteered to go to BOB MILLS and got treated with the utmost respect, got a small token of appreciation and I spent several thousand dollars with them! A little respect goes a long way! A little disrespect goes even further! LIKE FOREVER!

      I purchased a la-z-boy recliner and it arrived looking old/used and with huge wrinkles in the material. ******** Amacifen in customer service would not allow me to return for refund. He offered me 15% of the price (close to $2,000.00) or a store credit. I have multiple pictures I could show. This was at the ***** store.

      We hate to hear that **************** is not happy with the special order sofa. We sent the photos to ******** and were told it meets manufacturer standards. However, even though Special Orders cannot be returned, we have worked with **************** and have offered full credit to reselect to something in stock. This was discussed with her on 12/17/23 and is noted on her account. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to be helpful.

      I purchased a bed from Mathis home in **********. The wrong bed was delivered to me. The bed that was delivered was so small, my feet hung over the bottom. When l contacted Mathis home early the next morning. They told me sorry. They have a no return policy on beds. Even though it was there mistake. Now l have no choice but to go ahead with legal action. No one at Mathis home would own up to there mistake. They been dodging me for nearly a week now. So sad, pathetic and unprofessional.
