1 starThis company is horrible! They have been billing our company for the last year and when we tried to get a fire inspection for the fire department they said our service was pending. This system has been installed for over a year and we have been making payments the whole time. Every time we spoke with someone they would just transfer us to someone new and they still couldn't figure it out. We had our alarm go off randomly last week and the fire department showed up. So if our system is supposably offline, how did the fire department show up? If I could give them a zero I would.Securitas Technology Corp.

1 starIf I can leave 0 stars I would. This is the most unprofessional security company Ive ever experienced. I cant get a technician out to service my cameras, front door and garage door. I am paying for a service and fulfilling my obligations but they are not. Ive been waiting a few days for a technician to call me to book an appointment but have received nothing. This problem has been going on for at least 3 weeks. Tech support is useless as well as their customer service ***** I stay on hold for no less than 1 hour at a time and get no answers. Apparently I signed an additional year contract when I was under the impression I was signing to the agreed new price. That isnt even my biggest issue, the issue is they cant fix or dont want to fix the problem but want $300 to cancel my service early. This experience has been terrible to say the least.Securitas Technology Corp.

1 starBEWARE of this company. Do not sign up with ******* others have mentioned, many customers were previously with ******* ********************** and had no issues. Once they transferred over to Securitas, it became a full on legal scam. Here is our familys experience the Securitas:We pay our monthly fee which includes additional coverage for any part malfunctions. We have never missed a payment. We had a malfunction with our glass door break sensor and called them to fix it. A tech shows up, says he is missing a part and needs to order it, does not tell us that there will be any additional fees even when asked directly. He then returns to our home, installs the part and has us sign a service form WITH NO AMOUNT on it and then leaves. At that point we are assuming it is covered by our plan which we pay monthly. Fast forward a few weeks later we get a bill for several hundred dollars. We contact Securitas and they say that a missing part is not covered. However, we did not lose any parts, the technician said HE was missing a part and needed to order it. Somehow we are now on the line for this. We have been in contact with several people at Securitas over the last many months and the response has always been that we were not covered for the part and must pay some part of the cost (some part being upwards of $100). Currently they are saying we should pay $400.The bottom line is this company has no intentions of resolving this issue beyond having us pay whatever amount they see fit for a situation we were set up with. The biggest error on our part was signing a service agreement with a blank amount on it, thus leaving us open to having to pay whatever amount the tech and Securitas wanted. Not something you would expect from a legitimate company, but you live and learn. Please do not use this service as they are actively scamming customers.Securitas Technology Corp.

1 starI had to move during a divorce and had no money whatsoever, I tried to cancel my account but they said to do that I would have to buy out the contract for over $1,500, I did not sign a contract with this company, I signed up with a local business for my security system that was bought out by secritas. This company does not care about their customers, if I died they would still keep sending me a bill. They are now telling me that my current balance is double my monthly payment even though I have managed to pay it every month at the expense of being able to eat everyday. Please I beg of you, do not sign up with this company, they need to be shut down, they are nothing but a rip off. I would give them minus 1,000 star's if I could.Review fromEve C

1 starI own a jewelry store- we supposedly had the "highest level" of commercial service from Securitas. We were unhappy with their random, imaginary repair bills and incompetent techs, so in April of 2024, we put our Securitas system into test mode for one week. During that week, we disconnected all their equipment and switched to a different company. At the end of the week, when my system should have come out of test mode, no one at Securitas seemed to notice that the system was non operational! I somehow managed to get a hold of someone who sent me the cancellation paperwork/ procedure, which I submitted on 5/8/24. I never got confirmation of receipt as requested. None of the provided phone numbers worked. I eventually communicated via email with no fewer than 4 people, re sending the cancellation form each time on 5/8, 5/17, 10/22, and 10/28. In October, we received a new MONITORING bill! What, exactly were they monitoring WITH? More emails, more assurances that the issue was being forwarded to their "internal team". Then- last week, we got a letter threatening possible disruption of service (insert laughing emoji here) due to non payment, and threatening to refer to a third party collection agent. But wait- there's more! Yesterday, someone from ********************* called - they were contracted by Securitas to perform our "annual equipment evaluation" This is INSANE! They don't know now if they're monitoring us or not, which leaves me wondering, when we WERE counting on them for security, were they monitoring it then?Review fromKevin C

1 starDO NOT CHOOSE Securitas Technology for your home alarm system monitoring. Foolishly, I stayed with this company for 15 years and throughout that entire time they failed me over and over again. They kept me trapped within a never-ending contract constantly threatening massive penalties! Over one and a half decades, I had about half a dozen false alarms with my system and they NEVER called me once to check in on me! What was I paying $60/month for??? Now that I have sold my home, I have been trying to cancel the service for nearly one month and cannot get a human being to answer their loyalty line, which is apparently the only team that can cancel your service. Any human on any extension that hears you want to cancel just forwards you into a dead-end hold line for hours until you give up! All to say, DON’T find yourself, trapped within this never-ending toxic company that will just take your money and never respond to you! Securitas is an outright scam!!!Review fromKris D

1 starSecuritas apparently bought out our previous security monitoring system and it seriously hasn't really worked since. They charged us $2000 to fix something on our end but the system still does not work properly. I have now tried to cancel the service and they are trying to charge me $475.20 for early termination. I have never signed a contract of service with this company. I would like to be able to cancel but I'm not sure what my steps should be. I was only able to get this far with them through email as the phone number they list doesn't actually reach a human being. 1 starWe have been trying to cancel for months now, nobody calls us back. No email responses. I sit on hold so long and their system keeps hanging up on me. The couple of times I do talk to someone I feel like I get the run around. Theyre still trying to take money from us. We have had to put a stop payment on our account. 1 starI have been calling for days to cancel my subscription with this company and somehow there loyalty department does not work. I want to can't contract and each customer service agent says they have sent the cancellation but the loyalty department isn't available. I have called everyday during the week but somehow I can't cancel my contract. ***.
