  They were notified of our bankruptcy in Jan. ***** creditor filing date was today. They tried to pull multiple payments from our bank account today-completely ignoring the bankruptcy protections. The local office reached out to the main office in **** multiple times but were ignored, and even they can't reach anyone to stop collections. Apparently this company feels it can ignore federal bankruptcy laws. All these businesses are linked and predatory. Find another way before borrowing. They thrive on your need and suffering.

  Will take you vehicle if you cant pay payment. I paid my social security check for 3 months in a roll. minimum payment paid. Nov 2024 went into pay and they doubled payment which I didnt have and took my vehicle right after thanksgiving. Do not do business with them. Stay away.

  Title was never changed though the state and the fee was higher than the proceeds. No numbers were on contract, was told to sign the title.

  I would NOT use California Check Cashing Stores for a payday loan. You're better off going to ******* ******* (Online or in person) or ****** **** (Online). California Check Cashing has taken money from my account multiple times, even after my loan was repaid. They cannot help you get refunded in store, corporate has to get involved. But they are so busy, cause there's other just like you, who have gotten their money taken too.

  Title Max located @ ******************************************* should be shut down. My mom passed away and I relieved notice she took out a title loan. I went to this location to receive a payoff amount and no one could provide information on letter head only on a sticky note with amount after providing a copy of my mom death certificate which I thought was strange. Amount was paid in September which I was told it could take a few weeks before receiving my mom title back. I called at the end of October and was told still waiting for it from ***. Beginning of November I stopped by location asked about title. I was told it will be mailed to mom address. I said ok no problem her mail has been forward to my address. I contacted another location which I spoke with ****** to make a complaint how this location keep hanging up on me when I call phone# or I receive recording out of office during business hours. All I want is title for my mom truck. ****** apologize for the rudeness and stated they could make arrangements for me to pick up title. I asked if I could get a # for Title max corporate office which I was given a # to speak with resolution department. Resolution specialist claims she was calling the office to check status. This representative told me the location will send certified letter with title next day because Im not on title .. I laughed and explained my frustration with the run around from this unprofessional company. Next day I called location again spoke with very rude manager **** who realized she answered my call and stated f*** .. how can I help you? I asked about title again. **** replied as stated before since you not on title it will regular mailed to mom address. I informed her resolution stated it would be certified mail. ****, No it was regular mailed. I asked when was it mailed she said today which was last Friday. Today Nov ******* no title received from Title Max. What type of business is this company running? Getting over on the elders!

  Me and my finance took a loan out over a year ago and notice that the payoff amount was not going down so we called the location to speak with someone and was told that our loan was for 3 years with a payoff amount of $10,000 even though the original loan amount was $1500 and we were never told that loan term was 3 years @228% APR we were told the loan term was 12 months we feel robbed and tricked.

  If I could give 0 stars to this company as a whole, I would. This company has given me issue after issue. I have been trying to work with them for a while on getting my car back into my possession and to make a payment plan but they are declining this solution. I have been waiting on a call back for 2 weeks from any supervisor and no one is calling me back. I have offered to pay what I can & to make monthly payments to where I can pay off my balance over 3-4 months. They have no understanding or compassion when it comes to their customers in need. There is no empathy for people. There is a huge lack of human decency within this company. My brother is stuck in Florida, he was on his way to move with me because he is my caretaker but my car was repossessed. Hurricane Helene came and I am stuck without power, water, food, & transportation. He is about to be stuck in Florida all while this new storm is coming. I need him to help me. This company does not take care of good customers. ****** ***** is the only person within this company who is trying to help. This company needs more people like ****** *****.

  I paid off my title loan back in July, 2024. I have now made four trips into the speedy Cash location because I still have yet to receive my title. I handed my title when I got the original title loan to them I paid off the loan with substantial interest so I don't understand why it's so hard for them to give me my title back? I've heard horror stories of cars still getting towed despite the loan being paid off. They are offering no solution, they just keep telling me to wait, wait... Why am I waiting the agreement was I give you the title I get a loan I pay off the loan I get my title back? Definitely unfair business practice

  Terms and conditions are not explained correctly. For instance, they will give $2000 they will tell you your monthly payments are $500. What they dont tell you is that $500 just so every time you make a payment to them they keep your $500 and your principal gets higher and higher so for instance, they will tell you in the office, you owe us $2497 so after you start making payments you look at your paperwork and it will say $4737 by then its already too late cause these people already have your title so they will tell you if you bring us $3800 your loan is paid off knowing that most people do not have $3000 on top of $500 payments so you could be making payments forever and never pay this off when they need to be upfront. Were gonna give you $2000 and if you dont pay $2000 back , were gonna charge you $5000 until you pay it back. This is not this is not a fair practice so literally these people can collect $500 every month from you and keep that as interest and the payments will never go down and you will never pay your vehicle off because youll be paying interest forever until you can come up with three to $4000. It depends on whatever they feel like charging you then when you ask for documentation they give you the runaround you go to the website and you cannot access documentation , so you have no access to this when you explain these terms look at you and say Im sorry, but these terms I feel like this is entrapment
