1 starThe work they completed was fine; however 5 months after my replacement, the windshield cracked from top to bottom inside the car and they wouid not replace it. They said someone must have hit the mirror in the car too hard and caused a crack. I am the only person who drives this car. Its a total farce. I will never recommend them to anyone. Awful they are not reliable to their warranty.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

1 starI had an appointment set for 6/5/25 to have the windshield repaired in my RV. I drove 100 miles round trip to find out that they will not repair the windshield because it is too high off the ground. The technician said that no RV is even supposed to be scheduled to come into the shop. Well, now all appointments have to be scheduled online, which apparently can't differentiate between types of vehicles. I have called the customer care phone number numerous times before and after my appointment with no success. They said online that they don't have mobile service in my area, which is not true. They have been to my house twice this spring to replace a windshield in another vehicle of mine. I wish I could rate them a zero. The location that I had to go to in **********, **. just barely had space to park a half ton pickup, and I'm in a 40ft motorhome and had to park in a car wash parking lot with my rear hanging in the road. This is by far the most frustrating and shows a lack of ignorance, poor customer service and the need to speak with real people when making appointments. Never again will I ever use this company nor recommend them. Considering all of the complaints and negative reviews, you would think a company of this size would not want this type of scar on their company. This deserves a place in the national spotlight, and I can help them out here.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

1 starSuch a horrible experience today. The tech came out to look to see if it was a stress crack or from being hit because they replaced my windshield 2 years ago due to being hit by a rock and theres a lifetime warranty on it. Nothing hit my car, i just came out to drive and there it was so figured it would be covered. The first tech was a young kid said let me get my pen and traced along the crack multiple times before saying heres the point. Heres where it was hit. I informed him that it was not hit. He then said well it can happen due to heat and the. It expands. I said then that would be covered under warranty? It wasnt hit. Then he said no it was hit. I said i want another opinion. He walked away upset and said he would get his manager. The manager was even more rude. Sad excuse for a manager. He had no tact and was the least bit professional. He didnt introduce himself from the rip was upset. He said this is where the point of impact is. It was hit then expanded out. I said thats not what he said. He said it was due to heat then ended up saying it was hit here. He said oh yeah actually thats another spot i didnt make it that far. It was has 2 points of impact. I said so youre saying it was hit twice? He said yes. I said it wasnt hit when i drove it. He said oh you dont have to be driving it could be from a mower kicking up rocks. I told him i was just trying to understand and he proceeded to stand on the side of my car and said Ill show you. Starts digging his pen into my windshield down it multiple times so much so that there is now literally 2 pen marks on my windshield crack from him as shown in the photos. I said can you please not dig your pen so hard into my windshield like that. He said Ive worked here 15 years and nothing Im doing will hurt your windshield. I beg to differ as there is already a crack and he definitely messed the glass up more. Regardless thats not how you respond to a customer and you dont act like that.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

1 starWe used them a few years ago, and it was flawless. Now they have changed everything to online only, which is a terrible and lazy business model. You cannot speak to any live agent to ask any questions at all (unless you've already ordered service). I will find a local place who actually wants the business! C'mon Safelite...do better. Your customers who made you who you are today deserve better!Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

1 starAwful!Quoted by email for out of pocket windshield replacement Booked appointment online.Several weeks later, informed that new price for windshield is over $700 more than original quote ((evidently, they quoted for an aftermarket glass which is no longer available, only OEM is available, hence the price difference). They should have know that only OEM was available and the price for the glass was more *************, they refuse to honor their initial printed quote.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

1 starA technician replace glass 1.5 years ago and did not tighten the trim around windshield of 2012 TSX. About 6 months later, I noticed driver side trim pop up. I glued so it would not fly off and that seemed to work. 8 months later the trim on passenger side also pop up. I tried to glue it again but this time the trim flew off. I read online it's usual this occur due to windshield replacement and repair person did not re-install trim properly. I called warranty service with Safelite and technician agreed that's what occur and said office would follow-up within the hour. I waited over a day so I called them and was told Safelite decided this was due to 'wear and tear' vs workmanship of technician. I've had vehicle over a decade prior to replacing windshield without an issue. The person gave me a hard time about not calling them once I detected trim was loose. I asked would they have replaced it if so? I'm not clear what the difference is. Do they think I lied about trim coming loose without my doing? The Safelite employee basically said it's not her policy and would give feedback to her manager. Basically they're going to slime their way out of the workmanship warranty for life promise. I encourage anyone reading this to not use Safelite for windshield repair; I know I will not.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

1 starMy experience with Safelite has been terrible. My driver's window completely smashed in. First call was told their computer system was down. 2nd call had to repeat all the information. Car scheduled for window repair, but then delayed because they didn't have the part. By this time went to local glass shop, scheduled within 30 mins., repair completed within 2 hours. I have now hassled for more than one month to cancel Safelite appointment. Repeatedly gone to website to find no way to cancel. Have called both national and local (*********) numbers to be left on hold for so long (>20 mins.) As I write, still have not been able to cancel, feel Safelite aspiration "to getting you safely back on the road" is no where near reality.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

1 starSafelite Chattanooga is horrible. They left shattered glass all over my driveway AND inside of my car. My wife has already cut her hand, and I have a 16 month-old child who recently started walking, as well as a little dog, who I am afraid to let walk out front. I have already called to complain, and they wont even bother calling me back. This is a terrible company, do not use them.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

1 starI would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I've such a difficult time with them. I had an appointment scheduled for May 5, they would be out between 12 and 5 pm. They called around 1 to tell me the window was damaged so I would need to reschedule. I was called by them on May 6 and rescheduled for May 7 at 4 pm. I get there, wait ***** minutes just for them to let me know my window is damaged (again). The manager said she had to outsource it and it would take 3-5 days. I gave them 5 BUSINESS days, so a whole week later, still nothing. I actually went into the shop on May 15 and was told they would call me with an ***. By May 19, I still hadn't heard from them so I go back into the shop and was told someone had nabbed my window so they would reorder and i would get a call on the 20th to schedule an appointment. I was called and was told to come in on the 21 at 1:30. I got there at 1:30, waited for *************************************************************************** to let me know why it didn't show up. 24 hours later i'm still waiting fo that phone call. This whole situation is ridiculous and can't believe this is how they would treat a customer.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.
