      My daughter had the windshield replaced on a highlander, the tech that installed it didnt have to proper clips to put trim on. They just squeezed them in and they ended up flying of mid drive causing her to swerve. Then when we reached out they keep giving me the run around about the parts are on order. Come to find out after several calls they are on a credit hold with ******. Still no response to when my car will get fixed after several calls. I would not do business with safelite

      Call center and local sites are not communicating. Had to drive an hour just to be told I should not have been given the appointment. First appointment they didnt show up. Second appointment they werent able to make the repair.

      Made an appointment for 1pm. Arrived at 12:45pm. Was told would take 1 to 3 hours. At 4:15pm my car was started to be worked on. Left almost 3 hours after that. Terrible time management. I was there ALL DAY! No regards to a person's time Staff polite but didn't care i sat there all day. Only option given was to leave and come back which was not an option for me. Slow service

      RACIST! RACIST!RACIST!!RACIST *** ******** AND RACIST ****!!I CANT SPEAK MUCH ON THE DISTRICT MANAGER BECAUSE RACIST AS **** REFUSED TO PROVIDE HIS INFORMATION BECAUSE HE IS ON VACATION!DO NOT COME DO NOT SUPPORT THEM IF YOU ARE BLACK OR BROWN!1st time they had a generic glass for my vehicle..I rescheduled..2nd time they called confirmed my appt I arrive and they dont have the glass3rd time they call confirm my appt at 10am, get there for them to tell me my appt at 9am I show them where it says 10am and RACIST **** SAYS its AUTOMATIONITS SAFELITES AUTOMATION NOT MINE!!!!THEY REFUSED TO SERVICE ME AFTER INCONVENIENCING ME FOR THE 3RD TIME!!I WONT BE BACK AND I WILL BE FILING WITH BBB PROGRESSIVE & SAFELITE CORPORATE

      On a hot day, I scheduled a mobile service appointment with Safelite to repair a small chip on the windshield of my leased Tesla. The technician, ********** came to my location to perform the repair.Before starting, he instructed me to cool down the interior of the car, and then opened the door to expose the windshield to hot outdoor air. This caused the chip to rapidly expand into a long crack, rendering the windshield irreparable and requiring full ************** no point was I warned that this specific procedure cooling the inside and then exposing it to heat could lead to thermal stress and worsen the damage. This is not a standard or safe repair protocol. Industry best practices advise against sudden temperature changes on damaged glass due to the high risk of expansion.After the crack spread, I was simply told that this sometimes happens and that Safelite would not offer any refund, discount, or replacement assistance because I had signed a general waiver.I understand that chip repairs carry some risk, but in this case, the technicians actions actively introduced avoidable thermal stress, directly leading to the damage. I do not believe I should be held financially responsible for a full replacement caused by improper handling during a service I sought specifically to prevent further damage.Desired Resolution:I am requesting either a no-cost or discounted windshield replacement through Safelite or partial reimbursement for replacement through ***** or another certified provider. This was not a natural failure it was the result of the technicians actions during a mobile repair appointment on an extremely hot day.

      On July 19th I used the website to schedule my appointment for Monday July 21st. Confident I would get my windshield changed! At 11:50am the day of, I get a text notification saying the appointment had been changed to Tuesday July 22nd! I contacted the number on text and spoke to ****** who tells me the technician has called out! Informs me that the *********** location has only one technician! I asked for a morning appointment and was told the earliest would be on Friday! My mother has just had hip surgery and Im needed! Now today? I get an email at 9am with the technician name of Brayant will be on my location between 12 and 5pm, at 4:40pm I contacted Safelight number in my email and the young lady places me on hold to contact the *********** location and returns to tell me that she will be transferring me to the location but to wait on hold. 1 hour and 10 minutes and nobody came to help me! Ive sent an email while being on hold and have yet to receive a response and that God aweful automated phone assistance sucks! Apparently it does not understand the words **************** or Service or Operator and then hangs up! I will never use this company ever again!

      Earlier this year, I had a very small chip in my windshield, which I brought to Safelite for repair. The initial fix seemed to suffice at the time, but recently, the chip has expanded into two one-inch cracks on either side of the original spot. Naturally, I reached out via their online chat service to schedule a follow-up appointment under their nationwide lifetime warranty, which is supposed to cover further cracking in the repaired area. The representative on chat quickly scheduled the appointment, but at no point did they mention anything about having to pay my insurance deductible or being charged anything at all for this follow-up service. It wasnt until I received the appointment notification that I saw a billing amount listed, which took me entirely by surprise. Moreover, when I called their service center I was informed that Safelite would not even attempt a second repair, and instead would only offer a full windshield replacement and Id have to pay my insurance deductible. This was incredibly frustrating, as the crack remains very small, and the second repair seemed both appropriate and in line with their advertised policy. This reflects a clear lack of transparency and poor customer communication, which is especially concerning given their marketing promises of guaranteed service. It is disheartening to be misled like this - not only about the costs involved, but also about what the warranty actually covers. I trusted Safelites reputation and assurances, and now I am being asked to pay for their failure to stand behind their work.

      Safelite was supposed to come out on July 8, 2025 between 12pm and 5pm to replace my rear windshield. I took off work and waited and waited and waited. At 4:50pm I called and was told I was still on their schedule and the technician must be running late. I waited until 7pm. I never received a call or text. I call the next day and they just wanted to reschedule me for July 11. I said this was not acceptable and my call was escalated. The person put me on hold to try to contact someone else. The call disconnected. She had my phone number but never called me back. When I tried to call back the automated phone system would not let me speak to a real person. I had 2 co-workers needing windshield replacements and I told them do not use Safelite as the customer service is horrible! I am now trying to find another company to do the replacement.

      ****** from Safelite,in **********, came to my home to fix a chip in my windshield. He was very friendly. Called before he came. When he arrived he explained what would be done. He got right to work. As the glass was being repaired he cleaned all the windows, inside and out. He also vacuumed my vehicle. He went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you ******!

      Absolutely terrible customer service. The ***** Arizona location is rude to customers and its been a nightmare trying to get my windshield replaced. I wont recommend this company to anyone.
