Refund and Exchange Policy

As of 8.11.23 the website page section stated :

"  BidFTA offers refunds in three specific scenarios only; please read carefully before placing a bid:


Condition or Listing Errors


If an item is listed as “Brand New” or “Appears New” and does not meet our conditioning standards, the item may be returned by speaking to staff at the auction pickup center before you leave. If you leave the auction pick-up center building with your item, it is unable to be returned.


If an item is listed as “Brand New,” “Appears New,” “Open Box,” "Unverified Condition," or “Damaged,” and is not the item that was listed then the item may be returned at the auction pickup center only before you leave. For example, if the item was listed as a chair and the item available at pickup was a desk, you may request a refund. Please remember, if you leave the building with an item, it is not eligible for refund. Missing Items


If an item is not available at pickup, and the missing item was reported to the BidFTA Staff at the auction pick-up center, the item will be searched for by staff. If it is unable to be located, a refund will be submitted. Please wait two weeks for your item to be refunded. After two weeks, please contact [email protected] with any questions. General Guidelines


Items not picked-up from the auction pick-up locations during their posted removal days are not eligible for refunds.


Refunds can be processed as BidFTA bidder credit or using the original method of payment. Bidder credit will be available in your account within 3 business days. Refunds processed to the original payment method will be available within 5 to 7 business days.
All refunds must be requested before leaving our auction pick-up centers.


The purchase price, buyer's premium for the item, and tax on the item are all refunded.  "
