Please open all boxes before leaving the warehouse. I also want to love this business concept but the deception is at an all time high.l and continues to get worse. I have taken huge monetary losses and the canned statement they send in response to false advertising is so rude. They state brand new or good condition and the item is incomplete, not missing a small part but half of the product. Their response is you should have checked before leaving. No, your business should just state we sell junk but if youre lucky it may be functional. You cant list an item as brand new and then blame the customer for believing you. This is robbery. Bait and switch. Its a horrible feeling to get home and find out you threw your money out the window. Its just not worth it anymore. I advise against supporting this business until they can put best practices is place like real businesses, and make a solid commitment to customers. Until they do, this is simply gambling, but you have a better chance at the lottery.

Our lotters are not experts in the products they are listing. They would not know how many boxes an item comes in (unless it's obviously printed on the box) they do not know models of freezers, equipment or furniture. They list well over 100 items a day and do not have time to closely inspect the item they are listing. They will take a quick look, assign a condition description to the item, photograph the item, and scan the barcode to populate the fields in their lotting program. They do not test items or inspect them for parts or completeness. That is why it is important to inspect your items when picking up and discuss any issues with the removal staff prior to leaving the building.

For items that have been reported to the removal staff as missing, the warehouse will look for missing items after the removal days have passed for that auction. If the items are found, an email will be sent to you notifying you that it has been located. If they are not located within 4 business days after the last removal day, the system will automatically generate a refund for the item. It is not our responsibility to change policies because a bidder decided to place bids and pick up outside of their usual pick up area.

Also, I am seeing you have re-registered for over 15 bidder accounts- due to your previous accounts being suspended for non-payment. If we are such a shady and horrible company, you would think that you would no longer want to give us your business.

I have shopped at BidFTA in ***************** . I have purchased a a few high items from them As Brand new to get them home to find out they were all just junk . I purchased a air conditioner at ****** and ask for a refund seeing that it was sold as new and they refused to even answer, I bought a fan that was sold as Brand New and all the guts inside were broke , yet again no refund and refused to talk .I also bought a whole pallet of tongue and grove and over half was unusable, sold as Brand new . Spent 700 there . They refused to refund anything at anytime .I was raised that when it says Brand new that is what it is , seems this company thinks that just because the box is taped up its new . I think as a company selling new items , should check to see if it is instead of lying to people . This is not all the things I have bought that I have just tossed in the trash because they refuse to stand by what they sale . Its very disappointing in what we have to do to save money in this economy. Than to be made a fool . Am glad someone is getting use from the wasted money they took

At our core, we aim to provide every user with an enjoyable website experience and the opportunity to secure great deals. To achieve this, it's crucial to understand our item descriptions and lotting methods. We specialize in secondary market items, which can include customer returns, overstock, shelf pulls, or display/floor models. We explicitly state throughout our website, in our terms and conditions, and via signage in our warehouses that we do not test or assemble items, nor do we verify part lists for completeness. We employ five distinct item classifications on our website:Brand New: These items are complete and in their original packaging, often originating from shelf pulls or overstock.Good Condition: Items are free of significant damage or defects. While they may or may not be in original packaging (which itself might be imperfect), some hardware could be missing, or the product may have been previously opened. Minor imperfections like scrapes, scuffs, chips, or dents may be present. These items frequently come from customer returns, shelf pulls, overstock, or in-store display units.Working Condition Verified: This classification is typically reserved for liquidated restaurant equipment, high-value electronics, or appliances. Items have been powered on and appear functional. They often originate from customer returns, restaurant ***********************, or business *********** Is: Items in this category have not undergone thorough inspection and may show signs of use, be incomplete, or have obvious damage or defects. There are no guarantees regarding their condition, quality, or functionality. While we strive for accuracy, actual item specifics such as brand, size, color, or model number may differ from the auction listing. "As Is" items commonly derive from customer returns, shelf pulls, refurbished goods, or store liquidations.Preview for Condition: For these items, we strongly recommend visiting the auction location during designated preview times for personal inspection before bidding. Such items may possess unique specifications, patterns, or wood grains that are challenging to capture in photos. They may have been used or have defects. This classification frequently applies to items from restaurant liquidations, customer returns, overstock, store ***********************, shelf pulls, store displays, or refurbished goods.Refund Policy: All sales are final. Refunds, partial refunds, returns, or exchanges are only considered if an item has been misidentified or its stated product condition is incorrect. Bidders are responsible for understanding the defined product conditions and thoroughly reading all product descriptions and notes before bidding. In rare instances, despite our best efforts, we might inadvertently misidentify or mis-condition an item. Should you discover such an error with an item you've won, please inform an associate after checking out and before leaving the building so the issue can be resolved. No refunds will be issued once you have left the building.Familiarity with these terms is paramount to understanding how an item's condition is assessed. For larger purchases, we always recommend conducting additional online research, such as verifying the number of boxes an item should include, to ensure completeness. All these terms are posted in every auction and require agreement from bidders before placing a bid.

I bid on, and purchased, a car seat that was labeled as an ******* 360revolve. Everything in the listing labeled the car seat as so. All of the specs, descriptions, MSRP, and even the box that the car seat came in was all for ******* 360revolve. But that was not what was in the box. I inspected the item BEFORE WE LEFT THE PREMISES. When I pulled it out of the box, it was the wrong car seat. It wasnt even the same brand, nor was it a revolving car seat like I was looking for. In fact, it was actually worth about $120 LESS than what I thought I was bidding on. I spoke with the manager face to face and pointed out their terms and conditions states refunds would be issued for misidentified items. He said this was not a case of misidentification. Misidentification, according to their standards, means that you received something entirely different. Like if I bought a car seat and opened the box to find a mountain bike instead. His literal words. I assured him that there was nothing in the terms and conditions about varying degrees of misidentification. And if thats how they were going to operate then their policies should indicate so. He insisted that he couldnt do anything and that I should reach out to customer support. Customer support said they couldnt do anything and that Id have to contact the warehouse. They were giving me the run around, essentially. This situation would have been understandable if I had purchased an as is item. But not for one that is good condition. There is nothing in their terms and conditions that states you are playing bidFTA roulette when purchasing a good condition item. This is highly unethical of them. Their customers deserve transparency and honesty. And if a mistake like this does happen, they should own it and fix it. They expect their customers to abide by their terms and conditions, they should hold themselves to that same expectation, too.

This issue has been handled. The item should have been refunded at the warehouse because it was in "Good Condition" and not the same brand of item that was listed. Had it been an "As-Is" item, it would not be eligible for a refund. Their item has been refunded.

I am honestly shocked there is only 23 pages of 1 star reviews. I don't expect anything other than a little satisfaction from typing this and to add another warning to anyone considering this site. While you can tell from their generic copy and paste response to most of these reviews, you can occasionally get a good deal from here but you must be careful and bid only on new or good condition items.(You should stick with your generic copy and paste response because when you attempt at wavering from the script, you really highlight your lack of intelligence and professionalism) If you win new items at a great deal, they tend to be "missing" when you go to pick them up. This really rings true at Florence, Broadwell, and Schoolhouse Rd. locations. The bigger problem lies when you actually have a legitimate reason for a refund and immediately contact them to let them know there is an error such as- you didn't bid on something. They quote and repeat their policies that they could possibly hide behind while reselling and making even more money off of something not picked up(because I didn't bid on it!).
To really put this business in perspective, they are a predatory business that should fall in the same class as a cash advance or rent to own type of business. The only difference is the rental companies at least clean and sanitize the used product they sell! Again, if you are intelligent and understand their system you can succeed at outsmarting their mediocre intelligence and shady business practices and occasionally find a deal and save some money. Proceed with caution. They lack cleanliness, organization, professionalism, and ethics.

Our policies are readily available throughout our website and require agreement to obtain a bidder number. We believe in transparency; all information is in writing, requiring only a moment of your time to review. Given the nature of our business, we understand the scrutiny we face. Employing deceptive tactics would not result in a long-running business and a loyal bidder base.

Another copy and pastry supply I see. You are absolutely correct, your practices and lack of ethics will not result in a long time loyal bidder base. I in fact bid from you for over a year and a half. I made over 150 purchases from you. Up until the last few months, I had minimal issues which is why I stated you can get some good deals if you're careful. What you have done the last few months, and the ethics you are practicing under will ultimately cost you your business. Please consider taking the time to create an original response in the future. Might carry more weight for you.

I purchased a $120 item and open the box and it wasn’t even the item. I tried to show that to the clerk at checkout and she immediately said you touched it but there’s nothing we can do about it. It very much feels like these types of things are intentional with this company

This company does things to try and get one over on people. If you don’t carefully inspect EVERYTHING, you will get robbed eventually. They label things good and you pick up junk. Things that can’t be tested still lose the refund option once you leave the building. Poor service and a money making scam. Very unprofessional!

SCAMMERS. FRAUD. THIEFS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
They put item descriptions of things that aren't the actual item that you're getting! You could pay $100 for a piece of paper inside a box, but the description of the item will tell you that you're bidding on a chunk of gold and tell you it's in "GOOD CONDITION". If you don't open the box and assemble whatever it is while there in their 100° warehouse and a line a mile long, then you are SOL and they will not refund your money! They created these "testing areas" for items to be checked before leaving in order to get the refund if necessary, The testing areas are only big enough for 2 people to check their items. So if someone has 10 items to remove from boxes, and fully assemble in order to assure they're getting what they paid for, then you could be waiting in line for hours in 100°+ warehouse, with no fans set up for customers (only for employees), and they'll close at 6pm and kick you out if you haven't gotten to check your items. Then you're leaving the building with who knows what in your box, and they refuse to refund it no matter what because you left the building without fully assembling your item. It's ROBBERY! It's FRAUD! And the entire place is staffed with illegals that don't speak English.

If you are unable to adhere to our removal policies, we suggest you not bid with us.

But you DID respond and only addressed the fact that illegals are working everywhere within your buildings, that have no idea how to communicate with your customers, so there's no way of getting help while in the warehouse.
Instead of worrying about the fact that you guys are scammers and robbing people - you worry about the word "illegal".
      Tells enough.

Someone needs to report this place to the new for ripping many off. Their descriptions are definately not true. I bought a garbage can that was listed as new and it was bent in many places. I bought a lamp that was listed in good condition and no missing parts. I got home and it was missing a full lamp piece. I tried contacting them and it went no where. I could not look at the testing station because they were closing and this was my first time here and did not know how it worked. I went to.put a desk.together that was listed as good condition and it had broken pieces right on top. This place is a scam and just sells a bunch of junk that you can not use. I will be contacting my local news station to report this fraud. I should of read these reviews before I went to buy from here.
