    This company does not honor any contracts. There is always a loophole for them to not cover your appliances. We have been with them for the past 5 years and they have only honored one of our claims. Our last claim for one of our AC units was denied. The ne claim they approved was not for fixing the unit but for replacing the dishwasher, but we were only given $200. Standard dishwashers are priced at $500 and up. That $200 did nothing. Their customer service is horrible. I had an agent to literally hang up the phone on me. I asked that our contract be canceled, and I was then offered a free service call fee if I did not cancel. What good is that if they never honor any claims. There should be a no star rating for this company.

    This company is terrible and should be shut down for unethical business practices. They do anything they can to not pay a legitimate claim. Never should I have paid for a 2 year policy with a deep discount since I was locked in for the 2 years.
    My latest claim to AHW had to be submitted 3 times before they admitted they received it. Several times they told me they would notify me within 48 hours of their decision, but never did. Then, they denied my legitimate claim saying it was a maintenance issue not covered.
    A prior claim where my technician said my washing machine couldn't be fixed, instead of replacing it with a new machine, as the contract states, AHW offers me $380 towards my replacement cost of $950. I sent a written appeal registered mail to their mediation department in Columbus, Ohio - this letter got returned to me as "undeliverable commercial". My contract states my only other option was to pay $225. to file an appeal with The American Arbitration Association and hope for the best. You can't take AHW to small claims court.

    I suppose that I received a social media ad and I signed up for this service. From the beginning, I was misled (by no fault of theirs) into thinking that they were affiliated with the roving blue vans traversing every street in America.
    That's where the efficiency and dependability ends.
    From the the saga with an ailing refrigerator which they ultimately failed to cover because of their exclusions, I was out $400 and there was still no resolution. Needless to say, we ended up buying a new refrigerator. From the moment I first reported the issue, till I ended up with the new appliance, it was approximately five months.
    The billing system is antiquated and it is a crapshoot trying to contact them, in addition to them not addressing your issue.
    I also had an issue with my stove not heating -- so here we go again....I reported the issue on approximately May 1st and it was just repaired on July 6th because I had to be reassigned three times because their contracted techs never showed - the first lied and said he never had the work order, the second did not service my area and the third never contacted me after I first communicated with him.
    Do yourself a favor - DO NOT GET THEM. And they are not Closed, they simply changed their phone number. Needless to say I am cancelling their service.

    ZERO STARS. Absolutely THE WORST experience I have ever had with any company. I bought coverage on my 2 houses. No claims on 1 house. 2 claims on the other house. Had a roof leak, AmazonHW tried to send out a plumber. I call his contact, to ask if did roof repair and of course he didn't. after about 2 months of them telling me someone would be out, I was told they didn't have a vendor in my area for that. They told me to find my own repair person, pay him and they would reimburse me... This after multi phone calls and emails. So, I got a roof repair co. to come out and repair my roof. AND Paid for it myself.. The frustration was to much, talking to people who you cant hardly understand, having to repeat yourself, put on endless holds. and It amazing when you ask for a supervisor and they get on the phone, they are useless as the 1st guy, so ask for another supervisor, and they tell you they are #1 supervisor. Yeah, Sure you are. Now my icemaker is not working, and of course there is no repair person in the area...so here we go Again. 1 week later, there are no service people in the area.. So I'm here letting you good people know, DO NOT GIVE AMAZON HOME WARRANTY your hard earned money. They have no association with The "Amazon", and apparently they have no service providers either. BBB why are these scammer still able to work in your state. You have over 500 complaints on here about them, an they still give them a Ohio State biz lic.? How about you help out Us consumers ? FYI People, the President of AHS is a Guy named Patrick B******. I've tried but have not been able to find his number. I'd like to talk to him. Bet many of you would too. I hate cheaters and scammers!

    Waited 3 days for a company to fix my AC, They never arrived. Asked AHW for a different company and they said they had to wait 5 days before they could do that. Its 110 degrees out (it’s summer) besides the 5 days to assign a different company, add the time for that company to schedule an appointment and Hopefully arrive this time. I fixed it out of pocket and cancelled. After canceling I asked about a 30 dollars payment they owed me for 3 month now and had been escalated because they never payed from another claim. They said because my contract was cancelled they would not pay that either even though it was 3 month before I canceled. Avoid this company at all cost.

    This company does not deserve any stars. The worst company by far. I got the warranty in January 2020. Didn’t put a claim in until April 2023 and was denied. The first claim was for my AC unit. The second claim was for my washing machine. Said they would give me $249.00. That was two months ago, I still have not received the check. I called in another claim in May and that was also turned down. So I called them to see about my check and they said it was put in to mail on June 22. I called back today July 5 to cancel the contract because I still haven’t received the check and the cancellation department tells me the check still has not been sent out and if I cancel they will not send the check at all. I still canceled because it sounds like they will never send it. That’s 3 1/2 years of monthly payments that I paid to AHW for absolutely no reason. They took my money and provided no service. They customer service is horrible to. Do yourself a favor and run from this company. They also send the shadiest contractors to evaluate the claims. Don’t do any business with them either. The most AHW will pay the is 7 to 8 hundred dollars so they are constantly trying to do more work to get money from you. That’s how the contractors operate so avoid them to.

    This company sounds wonderful One selling you their home warranty but when you call to get service, it takes three or four days and if you decide to go and do it by yourself, it takes three or four days to get authorization and then three or four weeks to get reimbursed. And in my case they canceled my policy before they reimbursed me so I could not get my reimbursement Avoid this company at all costs. There is one salesman and then a plethora of foreigners trying to settle your issue that are difficult to understand and have no idea what they’re doing please please please do not use this company. They are horrible. Don’t be fooled by Mr. S***** promises of everything being hunky-dory when selling you a pop policy .

    Company is horrible. Purchased a 3 year plan and tried using them three different occasions (each time with an HVAC issue) and all claims were denied or not approved or they insisted on telling me that they had no technicians available in the coverage area and to find one myself. DO NOT USE THEM!

    The company should be "CLOSED!!!! They have cheated me out of the Buyout money that I was forced to accept because they wouldn't repair nor replace my Micro-Wave nor Oven! Because I called to cancel the sorry service that I received!!! $249.99 to settle for the Microwave that will cost me $500.00 and $400.00 to buy an oven is $1200.00, I was told that all processing for payment had been closed to pay me!!!
