    STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. We paid ahead 3 years, and can't get a return call for the past 10 days... This is the absolute worst comany I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with!!! STAY AWAY!

    Horrible experience! They take advantage of people and provide nothing to paying customers! I had to provide my own technician and pay upfront for the parts and labor. They have not guaranteed they will pay me back the money that I am out. My washer was or is unable to be fixed so they offered me $249.00 that’s right $249.00. An insulting amount for a 3 year old washer. Please do something about this company!

    I would highly recommend to pass on this company. They did not provide me with service for a roof leak and when I found somebody, they refused to pay the claim.

    Worst home warranty ever! They told us that they covered items for same value. Every time they have only offered contractor grade replacements and they NEVER have repair providers so we have to do all the work to try to get things fixed. Also have a contract so we can get out of this useless warranty. They are LIARS. If I could give them a negative rating And still get the word out I would. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THEM.

    3 different occasions bounced me around for weeks before telling me they couldn’t find a tech, then you have to find your own then they paid for less than half the cost at best, and then wouldn’t show any proof of where they got the value from. Absolutely thieving outfit - trust the reviews you read and stay away

    Hopefully this review will convince the reader to avoid AHW at all costs. Over the three years of our contract, they routinely fail to provide required technicians. After waiting 2-4 days for a contractor to be assigned, they respond that none are available in your area. The burden then shifts to the homeowner to find a technician. Usually that can be done within a matter of minutes. Once the contractror is found, it is necessary that the homeowner seek approval. Most technicians want to complete the job and be paid. If approved, the home owner makes full payment and then seeks reimbursement. Payment is promised within 2-4 weeks, but at times requires constant follow up and can take in excess of 6 weeks.
    More importantly, beware that the contact cannot be cancelled for non-performance. If you do, they make a claim on your credit card. If the charge is protested, they convince the card issuer that it is due. The contract does provide that the agreement renews annually, but requires that they inform you of the continuing terms. They of course do not.
    In my most recent situation, I had a garage door opener fail. The contract, of course, provides that it be replaced. After 4 days of being without an opener and being told a technician could not be found, I was required to find my own. I did within 10 minuites and had a contractror respond that day. When approval was sought for the $500 replacement, they advised they would pay only the cost of a new unit only, ie $349. When I complained and threatended to cancel, they denied the claim in toto and charged me for the balance of the contract. Effectively, I paid in full and received no service.
    Arbitration is required. However, the fee for filing the arbitration is $900 to the homeowner and not cost efficent to pursue. I'VE HAD OTHER HOME WARRANTIES. THIS CLEARLY IS THE WORST AND A ONE STAR REVIEW IS NOT EVEN JUSTIFIED. BEWARE!!!!!

    This company is horrible they sent a man out (******* *****) I paid him 150 and has not returned. I contacted AHW they stated that they will reach out he did not respond it’s been 4 days. AHW stated my only option was to find someone pay them 200 and they will reimburse me. I told them that I did not have 200 since I’ve already paid 150 are there any other options. The guy said no because they would have to start the process over. I said ok I need hot water he said this is not an option.

    This company is a disaster and a scam, they stole my money won't send out a repair person and won't refund me for using the out-of-network contract they suggested.
    Don't use this fraudulent and unethical company unless you want to lose your hard-earned money.
    They are not associated with the REAL amazon, they use that also as a gimmick to lure you in thinking your getting a good value, they are bad actors stealing money and should be in JAIL.
