      It took over a year and 5 different install crews from different parts of the midwest to get my windows installed to what they say is correct. During this time, Universal had to reorder new frames, new windows, reinstall some windows and finish outside trim correctly. It's now maybe 2 months later, December in St. Louis, and its -6 degrees outside. My windows leak air and moisture is developing on the inside of all my windows. What a waist of 1000s of dollars. Manager Mark ****** even promised a new patio door for compensation. Never got the door, and now he's not returning calls. I don't recommend this product if you live where you might have anything but mild weather.

      I had a little hiccup, my windows were not measured correctly. Make sure the person measuring ooens your old windows go make sure they get the true measurements. My windows had to be reordered but they offered to install on a Saturday so I did not have to take off work again and ai was happy with this solution.

      My doors took a while to come in due to supply chain issues ( no fault of Universal Windows) and they were installed today.

      I am happy I went with UW. Lifetime warranty that can transfer for 30 years to a new owner.

      The three men that installed my windows were all professional and courteous. My windows look awesome and I can’t wait until I can get the other half of my house done.

      We have been waiting for over a year for our window installation to be complete. Our job involves 7 windows. On the day of installation it was discovered that 5 of the 7 windows were measured incorrectly. We opted not to have any installed until we had a complete set. Then the correct sized windows arrived and installation scheduled. Installation attempt 2 we discovered that the 2 correct windows were missing at the warehouse. We opted to install what they had because we did t want them lost again. After 2 months or so with no contact we had to call to find out when we were getting the new windows. Fast forward a few months and the last 2 windows are installed but damaged. Fast forward a few more months and the replacement windows arrive but the latches don’t line up. An attempt was made to fix it on the spot but one of the windows gets cracked. That was last week. Today I get a call asking me to pay the remaining balance on an incomplete job. Was told the cracked window was a warranty issue and it would not be ordered until I paid. The job has not been completed so I do not understand how warranty comes in to play yet. They claim it has but I never said to anybody or signed anything stating that.

      Excellent service and beautiful windows. I’ve replaced all of my windows over the last six years or so. These four were the last. So pretty! Huge difference in quality. I highly recommend Universal Windows. They are worth the cost.

      In March 2022, we contracted with Universal Windows Direct to replace our two front windows. Just before the Fourth of July, they installed our windows but did not complete the trim around one of the windows. The installer told us they would be back the next business day. Months passed. After repeated attempts to get the job completed, they finally came to our house the first week of December but instead of putting trim around our window to match the other window, they put mortar and didn’t do a very good job of that. Now the trim on the windows in the front of our house does NOT match. In the front of our house!!! I found them difficult to work with and difficult to reach by phone. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

      If I were to contact Customer Service again, how will this time be any different from all the other times. Especially when most of the times you wouldn’t even return my calls.

      Sales and installation were great had windows done in I believe 2017.
      But it has been since January 2022 that I am waiting for a replacement.
      This makes no since. They even came out with the wrong window once.
