1 starImpossible to get anything done with them. My account was deactivated per two reps, then one told me it was just on hold. I have tried to re-enroll, the system will not let me as email is already on file. It has been multiple days of trying to get ahold of anyone. The hours a rep is available is not what is listed on their website. I work full time and cannot get on the phone whenever I want. I have had an account with no issues for over 5 years, but for some reason it was deactivated. I had received emails letting me know to call and update my insurance which I had attempted multiple times, but no answer or call back when I entered my phone number to save my place in line. Just frustrating when you are a type 1 diabetic who needs supplies.Review fromAshley I.

1 starWe used Byram for years and never had any issues until 2020/2021. Most recently, on 8/11/22, I placed an order for my daughters diabetic supplies. I ordered online through my account. When ordering online, you are required to verify doctor and insurance information. I received an email confirmation. On 8/16 I went online to check the status of my order and it was just gone. So, I chatted with a ***. I was told that it was deleted because insurance wouldnt cover it until 8/21. This person placed another order to be processed on 8/21. I received another email confirmation. On 8/28 I saw that the order stated processing so I chatted with another ***. They, for unknown reasons, had still not processed my order. I was assured that the order would be prioritized and shipping expedited. When I asked the *** when I should check back in, I was told that they would contact me about my order. I then stated that I would check in on Tuesday and the call was abruptly ended. Well, we are really low on supplies now so I again check the status online and it still says pending so on Saturday I call. I am told the order couldnt be processed because it was awaiting insurance verification from me apparently because once I verified my insurance and coinsurance, I was told it was in the warehouse. But they dont ship on weekends and with the holiday my order wont be shipped until Tuesday. I was then told with the expedited shipping it could take up to 48 hours. Now, I have had the same insurance for 2 years and my coinsuramce for 1 year. Every time I order online I have to verify it and every time I talk with a *** I have to verify it and all of a sudden this is the reason that my order is delayed by more than 3 weeks since the original order. Not once did Byram reach out to me to try to fix this. I had to contact them every time. My daughter will for sure run out of supplies and theres not a thing I can do about it. Sadly Ive run out of characters to explain my other complaints.Byram Healthcare Centers, Inc.

This letter is in response to a complaint we received on 9/4/22. This issue will be logged in our Corporate Complaint File. Thank you for the opportunity to provide a response. Upon reviewing the notes on the order. It does appear that the secondary insurance was removed in error then added back in which caused a delay. Notes have been added to the account that there are 2 insurances and neither insurance should be removed. The plan does allow orders every 90 days. Automatic reminders are sent out ************************************************************** sprovided to the customer on how the delay occurred. The order shipped was shipped and delivered. Please be assured that Byram is committed to providing high quality products and service to our clients. We apologize for any inconvenience we *** have caused. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions that *** come up.Review fromKAEMON O

1 starI have been with byram for quite some time. It seems like every single month I am getting an invoice in the mail, and I have to call and fix my insurance on file for some ungodly reason. It's like they bill the correct insurance, but they never click save...Anyway, I get another 2 bills in the mail this month, one for ****, one for 550, cool another phone call I have to make for no reason. Looks good, the 550 one gets fixed and they bill the correct insurance, and for some reason the **** bill is actually from a product shipped a year ago, but they decided to only bill my insurance on 08/14/2022. My insurance changed over the 2021-2022 year, so they didn't pay it. Now I'm stuck with a big bill for $**** because my new insurance wasn't instated last year.Byram Healthcare Centers, Inc.

5 starsCannot believe how efficient and helpful ***** has been for my ostomy supplies. Spent 10 years using ******** and wrote a review here that gave 1 star for being the worst company I've ever done business with. Really did not expect ***** to be any better. Primarily because of the negative rating. So far I've been with ***** 3 months and used their online system to reorder. This last order i received in 2 days. All ordering has been without a hitch. When I first signed up with ***** the lady helping understood my dilema. I would rather let my bag drain down my leg than reorder from ********. She sent *********** without any approval, either from my Doc or the ****************** They should charge an annual fee to be a customer! Hope in a year I feel the same. Thanks *****.Byram Healthcare Centers, Inc.

1 starMy son is paralyzed and uses medical supplies from Byram healthcare. about six months ago we started having issues with his supplies being delivered they are claiming they are not receiving faxes back from the doctors office the doctors office has sent faxes over at least six times in order we placed on July 22 still has not been placed for delivery because they claim they havent received the doctors fax. They changed their gloves that he has been getting for three years and sent us very flimsy gloves that cannot be used for the medical procedures he needs to use it for the gloves break off in pieces stay inside his body I have called about this and explain this to them they were going to send new gloves , I received an order with three single gloves in it instead of the order for *********************************************************************************************************************** they were going to send a box of something that they think would be comparable spoke to somebody again today again they have not received the fax supposedly and there was no record of me calling about his gloves that they sent. This is a medical supply company and people that use it use it for a reason these companies cannot seem to get it right and the disabled people are jeopardizing their lives because of itByram Healthcare Centers, Inc.

This is in response to a message we received on 8/11/22. This issue will be logged in our Corporate Complaint File. Thank you for the opportunity to provide a response. ** manager spoke to the mother last week after her complaint of being shorted on the 7/22 order; also about receiving 3ea of a sterile gloves as a replacement that a Byram agent sent on 8/5. Client's mother did mention about gloves ripping so the ** manager did send the 4bx vinyl gloves as the replacement . Client's mother called back on 8/12 after getting the 4bx of vinyl gloves that were delivered, telling Byram agent that those gloves rip too easily and broke off while being used and requested Nitril gloves. We approved 1box of Nitrile gloves since she had the 4bx of vinyl. The mother called back again on 8/15 spoke with another representative and they sent customer 3 more box of Nitrile gloves due to customer mother saying that she is sending back the other Vinyl gloves. Byram group leader did speak with the mother and she explained why she needs the Nitril gloves. Mother says Nitril gloves work much better. Please be assured that Byram is committed to providing high quality products and service to our clients. We apologize for any inconvenience we *** have caused. Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions that *** come up.Lauri

1 starIt has been a complete headache just to order a breastpump. Byram deserves 0 stars. My physician has faxed over the authorization two times and I have emailed a copy of the authorization four times. However, each time I connect with an representative to inquire about the status of my order I am told they need a copy of the authorization from my physician because they don't have it. This has been going on for over two weeks! In the meantime, I have already delivered the baby.During my last call with the representative I made them stay on the phone while I resent the authorization. Once they confirmed receipt I was then told I needed to provide another authorization from my insurance company, which Byram never requested before and is not stated on their website order form. I then conference called my insurance company and they told the Byram representative directly that my pump is 100% covered and an authorization is not required. The Byram representative then stated she needed to contact management because they require insurance authorization. Needless to say, I probably won't be getting a pump any time soon.Unfortunately, both ****** and ***************** contract with Byram only for breastpumps.Byram Healthcare Centers, Inc.

Here is my timeline of events, most of which you can verify via the chat transcripts and email. You did receive the correct documents and it was an authorization because only one document was ever submitted (multiple times), which you used to release the order.Yes, your website states 4-7 days for delivery, but had I not reached out to Byram numerous times and get my ********* company involved my order would not have been released.Physician faxed over order authorization on 7/25/22 and stated I would be contacted by Byram for further instructions to place an order. Did not hear from Byram for a week and went on website to place order on 8/2/22. 8/4/22 corresponded with ********************* via chat and rep stated that the physician authorization was not received. I requested the fax number and ***** provided the Byram phone number, not the fax number. I looked up the fax number on the website and had the the physician fax over the authorization again on 8/2/22 to ************* in addition I emailed the authorization to breast-********************************** 8/5/22 corresponded with ********************* again via chat and rep stated the authorization was not received.8/5/22 emailed authorization to ********************* at ********************************** *** ***** at ********************************** and again to ********************************.8/5/22 called rep *** ***** to confirm receipt and *** stated that in addition the the physician authorization, ********* authorizarion is required to process the order. Had a three way call with **** ********* rep ***** and myself on 8/4/22 and **** stated that ********* authorizarion is not required for breast pumps. *** stated it is required and she would need to speak with management.Emailed *** on 8/8/22 requesting an update and received no response. 8/8/22 had another three way call with Byram rep ***** ********* rep ***** and myself to inquire about status. **** stated that order could not be processed because ********* authorization is required. **** restated that ********* authorization is not required and demanded that the rep put in an urgent request to process the order and overnight it. Breastpump received on 8/9/22.
