1 starI signed up for service on 2/28/25 with an installation of 6/21/25 The price I signed up for was $59.99 for 1GB with the 3/6 month free. I added the whole home for $10. My bill would be $69.99 and received an itemized confirmation saying that. I had asked if there was any issue with the late install regarding the promo pricing and was reassured it was based on sign up date. I was installed on time and everything seemed to work fine. Today, 7/18/2025, I received my first bill. I called them because it was $143.65. The customer service rep explained that we had a deposit in the proration we would receive back when we ended our services. That I understand. I then asked to confirm my next bill would be $69.99. She said it would be $75.00 because I am signed up for the $64.99 plus $10 whole home plan. I ended up sending her my confirmation and she transferred me to someone else.This person proceeded to try to sell me on a 3 yr promotional period. It would be $50 for the 1st yr, $64 for the 2nd yr and $75 for the 3rd yr. They offered to waive the whole home for the 1st yr, or lock in the $50 for 24 months but the promotional period would be extended to 4 years instead of 3. Then tried to lower my speeds. The first person did mention this promo but said while services were at will, it would be $100 to cancel within the promo period.When I asked for just the price I had agreed to, the second person said, he doesn’t recognize my confirmation email, couldn’t match it and tried forcing me to the promotion. Ended up with a credit of $75 and leaving the $75 plan I had been assigned originally. Then told me I could not call back next year for additional promotions because I got everything now.
They don’t honor what you agreed to prior to install, change your price without notification,don’t acknowledge their communications and try to force you to take longer term promotions. I didn’t want anything other than what I originally agreed to. I do not trust this company at all.

5 starsCharley M****** and gonetspeed helped us get great internet and free TV content using their service. Lockport native would recommend and have to everyone. I even made $100 bill credit when he came to set up my TV as the installers don't do TV but charley helps. He signed up my neighbors. Love the speed and staying connected. 5 starsCharley M****** walked us through step by step and made sure we changed as this has never happened before. No one else would have been able to do this but Charley is the man! Other people have tried but Charley was very informative and thorough. The biggest thing I loved was the demonstration of how the TV worked. Showing is believing over just telling someone something.GoNetspeed

5 starsCharley M****** did a great job. A+++ he said we could find the TV content we wanted without the bill. With 6 kids we just need something for the kids for them to watch and our local TV. We have every device known to man in this place and the bill with former **** ****** just kept creeping up and I wasn't getting the speeds I was paying for. Now I have reliable and more secure Internet that works so much better and faster. Thanks Charley and gonetspeed for serving Lockport so efficiently. Great customer service like Charley gives is hard to find. He guided us every step of the wayGoNetspeed

5 starsI am absolutely going to stay with GoNetSpeed...even though there's a new "rival" fiber optic internet service in my area attempting to give them a run for their money. Just last Friday, I got a new router installed by a helpful, professional competent and courteous tech who came out to my home. I think the customer service, tech support, communication and all-around professionalism of GoNetSpeed is far superior to their competitor fiber optic service in the Bangor, ME area...
I've had GoNetSpeed for almost 3 years, since they first arrived in the greater Bangor ME area. I'd previously been using a cable ISP which was, at the time, the only ISP option available where I lived. When GoNetSpeed came to my area, it was a no-brainer to switch. One; they were not only a "second option" to the cable service. They were Fiber Optic, a major upgrade. Plus, when I signed up, I got the same rate as I'd previously paid for the cable ISP. So now, just recently, (spring of 2025), I am suddenly discovering another fiber optic ISP company making its way into my area. I heard sales people from this competitor company claiming the speed and internet quality for the price is far better than GoNetSpeed. Yet there was no valid information to substantiate these claims. The competitor fiber optic ISP did, however, offer me a free trial with them. So I figured I had nothing to lose trying it out and evaluating. Less than a week later, I've confirmed the speed and price of the 2 fiber optic companies is about the same. I saw no indicator whatsoever of constant, adamant claims I kept hearing about the other service being "better" than GoNetSpeed. And I have now found that GoNetSpeed has far superior customer service, tech support, communication, reliability and overall professionalism of the people who represent the company. For that reason, I will only bringing business and recommending GoNetSpeed and NOT to their competitor.
