1 starIf I could give no stars, I would. I had a HELOC with Quorum in 2021. Payments were never processed in a timely manner and late fees were applied. We finally closed out the account and went with another provider. We received the letter stating the account was closed but they never officially discharged the line of credit. Now we are trying to sell the house and the line of credit is still showing that it's open and available. ************* says we need to contact them to close the account. There is no way to speak with a human and the system no longer recognizes the loan number. I have tried the email feature only to get a response to call the same number that I spent an hour on going in circles. If they had just done the correct thing when we closed the account, we would not be in the predicament. From the get-go, they were awful to deal with. Find out if your lender partners with them and if there is a possibility of your loan ever being sold to them. Avoid at all costs!Quorum Federal Credit Union

Quorum has reviewed complaint #****** regarding Ms. ******** home equity payments, fees, and title recording. Our research shows that when the second mortgage was sold to Quorum from the previous mortgagor, Finance of America Mortgage (FAM), the first payment was forwarded from *** to our Headquarters rather than to the designated payment address to process the payment in a timely manner. This prompted us to call Ms. ******* on 11/16/21 to provide the correct address for payments. Throughout the duration of Ms. ******** home equity loan, all payments were applied before or within the 10-day grace ******* therefore, no late fees were assessed. Our records show the loan was paid in full and closed in January of 2022 and Quorum issued the mortgage discharge on 05/04/2022. However, after the discharge was processed by us, *** filed a correction to the address noted on their satisfaction documents in August of 2022 causing the lien to be re-recorded, which we discovered from lien history from Burlington Countys public records while researching Ms. ******** complaint. Typically, in this occurrence, FAM would contact Quorum to inform them of the changes, as we do not monitor paid off loans. While Quorum had no knowledge of the re-recording caused by FAM, we have since electronically sent a satisfaction letter to the county to record it, which was successfully completed on Friday, October 4th, 2024.We apologize for the frustration this has caused Ms. ******** Although the situation was not caused by actions on the part of Quorum, we are happy to be of service to correct this issue for her.Review fromThomas F

1 starOn hold for the eighth time in 45 minutes. All i need to do is change my PIN number for my card. Eight referrals to another number later, nothing. On hold now for 13 minutes. the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Meanwhile, I have no access to my account. After 15 minutes on hold, the agent came back on, told me she had a supervisor to help, and disconnected me. You CANNOT be serious.Quorum Federal Credit Union

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience he experienced while trying to access his debit card. Upon our review, we found that Mr. ******** had previously closed his card as a result of fraudulent transactions to which a new card was promptly issued and activated. Shortly after Mr. ******** received his new card, it was blocked for two reasons: too many invalid PIN attempts and suspected fraudulent transactions. This required Mr. ******** to validate transactions and reset his PIN. Unfortunately, when Mr. ******** contacted ******************** he received a less-than-ideal experience, including multiple transfers, for which there is no excuse and we will be looking into further to provide coaching opportunities; he was also provided incorrect information by our member service representative, which led to his frustration. We reached out ****. ******** on September 23, 2024, unblocked his card, and provided the number to assist with resetting his card PIN. (This needed to be done by Mr. ******** due to security protocol.) We also called Mr. ******** back to verify the success of his debit card PIN reset and the ensure his concerns were fully resolved. Again, our sincere apologies for any frustration this situation causedMr. ********. We are glad we were able to assist him, and look forward to our continued banking relationship.Review fromMelissa F

1 starWorst choice I made getting a loan from this company. They say one thing then do another been trying to pay first payment for over 5 weeks and they don't know what's going on they say I owe payments I don't owe I send in the proof they still don't do anything then they say they I owe more than my contract and I'm over it I will have my Credit Union take the loan over these guys are frauds and yes I have talk to 6 people 1 special and also escalated it still they can't get it rightQuorum Federal Credit Union

Quorum has examined review #****** for *********************************** and we extend our sincere apologies for the stress and frustration he experienced due to inadequate support from our ******************** ********************** is a valued customer, and we deeply regret that we fell short of meeting his expectations, as well as our expectations regarding service standards. On April 3, 2024, *********** Specialist ***** contacted **********************, acknowledging receipt of his complaint. ********************** informed us that during Quorums purchase of his loan from another financial institution, one of his payments was not accounted for. Research confirmed that the payment had indeed been overlooked during the processing of the loan sale; we promptly took corrective measures by confirming payment with the outside financial institution, reapplying Mr. ********** payment, and making necessary adjustments. We anticipate that the adjustment process will be complete by April 15, 2024. On April 5, 2024, ***** followed up with ********************** to provide an update on the billing error review, which is currently underway. Additionally, we are reevaluating our processes related to newly transferred loans to ensure a seamless transition for all our members. We thank ********************** for bringing this matter to our attention and appreciate his understanding and patience as we work diligently to rectify the situation.Review fromVicki P
