    This is Insane. I opened a Checking and Savings Account with this *********************************************. I linked my *********** Checking's as an external Account. As I'm checking out all the features on the app, I notice my checking's says -$1.00 I'm thinking to myself How is this possible, I did two transfers upon opening account. I only sent over a couple bucks. Thank God because my money would be held up. So I call in and now I'm dealing with the Automated System. I'm now directed to enter my member ID. Now it wants me to enter a pin, I'm thinking I've never made a pin. It must be last 4 of ssn. No that's not it. So I try the pin I use for everything, nope not it. I get transferred to a live agent. The guy gets on the phone, I ask him about the negative $1.00 in checking's he says oh ok yea I see that. He says once you get account out of red your all good basically. I say okay, I wont be charged any overdraft fees.. He says no you wont. I also ask how long does it take for transfers to clear he says a few days. Literally he was very rude. I had more questions, but then he says Are we done here(or something similar) no help to a new member. He could care less. I'm thinking okay let me transfer a couple bucks over there, that way it'll be ok. Couple days later I get an email saying I have a notification. I go to the online app my account has been restricted. I've now had account for 8 days, my debit card is in the mail. I have sample checks. Now no access. This is great. I call in I'm told that I need to send in a few documents to prove my identity. I'm being accused of Fraud. The email is from the ***************** What a Joke!! I was told it would take 24 hrs. Its been 5 days. I've heard nothing. Called in 2 days later I was told a different story that it could take up to 30 days. Horrible! I opened this account to start saving for my kids and to get a mortgage in the future. After reading these reviews on all these platforms. Their doing me a favor. I can take my money somewhere else.

    We have reviewed complaint #****** submitted by *************************** (the member) regarding her experience with Quorum, as well as the restriction on her account. ********************** reviewed the call interaction with the member. In that call, the member expressed she was unfamiliar with the account and had some questions regarding her membership as well as the first deposit she transferred from another institution. The call representative informed ************** that she had a negative balance on her account due to the initiated transfer being returned as NSF. Our call review highlighted some opportunities for the call representative to provide clearer information to the member, as well as to enhance some soft customer service skills in resolving customer issues. Training and coaching haveand will continueto be provided to ensure continued focus on these two areas of opportunity.In regards to ************** not having access to her account following the call, Quorum performed and completed a risk management review of the account and relationship with Quorum. As a result of the review, certain risk indicators existed, and Quorum made the decision to permanently restrict the account, which means there are no automated/remote services available to the member. The member is free to contact Quorums ************** Team at ************** to do her banking.

    I been with Quorum for a few years and I must say I never had a problem with them.They have Great customer service representatives and are very helpful. And I am speaking on my experience with them.

    This credit union is a JOKE! Was given a payoff dollar amount effective the following day. Overpaid the amount given by several hundreds of dollars to insure the account would be closed. Nope, we missed Fees and charged you the next month's payment as well. Been on hold for about an hour as they try to figure out what happened. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

    We have reviewed complaint # ****** submitted by ***********************, regarding closure of his home equity line of credit. Below is a summary of the issue and resolution:Mr. ******** home equity line of credit was paid in full and closed on 04/10/2023. Our *********** Specialist, ***********************, contacted ****************** on 04/13/2023 to obtain additional information about his review, referencing fees and overpayment on his loan payoff. However, ****************** declined further communication and said that he does not wish to be contacted again, and that he confirmed that his loan is already closed. Using the information ****************** provided, we found when the loan payoff was received, ****************** did, in fact, overpay the amount based on the payoff quote provided to him. A check will be issued for $993.79 for the loan overpayment.

    Quorum is great. We feel so much more secure with a federal credit union than a commercial bank. Great staff at customer service are always patient and helpful. Rates on interest bearing accounts are great too.
