              We called Shamrock chimney, and they came out the same day on 11/8/23. They did the work the same day too. They installed an incorrect size liner, didnt connect water heater to the correct flue, the sealing on the chimney that they did washed away, and closet is still leaking due to this. The water heater not connected safely which is a safety issue but we are not within code in many areas. We now need to spend money to fix everything to become within code as if nothing was done in the beginning. We had a chimney inspection on 11/27/23 by Ultimate Chimney Sweep who formed us of these issues, and didnt pass. We have reached out to Shamrock chimney many times and have been told we are on the schedule and someone will come out to fix these issues, they never showed up. At this point we need a refund as I dont trust Shamrocks service and have spent more money fixing the issues they created. I have photos that the chimney sweeping company took as well if those are needed to show items were not installed correctly.

              I too am so sorry that I did not read the BBB reviews and do more research on this company, based in *************, before we used them. They were hired to build and place a cap on our chimney. They did a nice job of building the cap; however, did an absolutely HORRIBLE JOB with the installation! Instead of properly securing the cap with bolts, they only used an epoxy glue on two sides of the chimney. Needless to say, after a heavy wind, the cap blew off the chimney onto our roof and caused damage to the chimney as well as the roof. We contacted them several times about the problem and damage and they were totally unresponsive. They never returned calls and did not fix and repair the damage. We ended up having to hire and pay someone else to re-install the cap and repair the damage to the chimney and roof. What should have been an easy project for them, turned into a nightmare for us. If someone mentions Shamrock Chimney in *************, I would run as far away as possible! I do not recommend this company at all. I would give them zero stars if I could!
