In 2021, BBB Serving Metropolitan New York received 8.2 million inquiries for information about businesses and charities and handled over 86,000 complaints from consumers about businesses, plus over 76,000 consumer reviews. In 2021, people turned to BBB more than 200 million times for BBB Business Profiles on more than 6.3 million businesses and Charity Reports on about 12,000 charities, all available for free at BBB.org.
