1. Ultimate Dumpster sent the wrong details on the contract. To 4 calls to get that straightened out. 2. The dumpster arrived more than a day late from contractually agreed upon date. 3. The dumpster was placed in the wrong location from agreed upon location (50 yds away and blocking my customer's driveway). Driver refused to move it after learning of the mistake. 4. Dumpster has sat blocking my customer's driveway fir 7 days past the scheduled pick up date. It took a call to the police for an abandoned Dumpster to get it removed. 5. Ultimate Dumpster employees dropped my calls more than 20 times while trying to get things straightened out and get answers. Supervisors are not available. 6. Still waiting on final weight and billing corrections.Business Response

On 3/21/25 I called & scheduled a 40" w/ 3 tons for 4/7/25. On 4/2 I saw the forecast for said week, called & emailed to rescheduled for 5/6. It was confirmed via email. On 4/7 they put the 40" dumpster in front of my home. I again emailed them to say that someone didn't get the memo. They apologized and it was picked up days later. On 5/6 I've got helpers around and we're waiting on the dumpster after 2 pm I call and they say that the truck broke down I'd have to wait until tomorrow. I inquired on what the discount would be they said they'll get it adjusted when it's all said and done. 5/7 a 30" dumpster is sitting outside my home. Emailed cs because I'm naive thought it's just a mistake. Cs asked for pictures said they'd get back to me. 5/8 no customer service. Emailed cs cause no other contract has been sent so I don't even know if I can use this thing. They respond saying that my city doesn't allow 40" dumpsters on my street and that I need to go get a permit for this 30". Call, no supervisor available. Email asking pricing questions. Cs emails me 5/9 and basically say I have to take what they sent me and they'll determine later what money I'm owed. I finally noticed the red flags and just asked for a refund to which they said I'd have to pay a hauling fee. I asked how much is this fee for them delivering something I didn't ask for. They got back to me 5/12 and said $325. Also, it better be empty or the are keeping all my money. I cleaned that thing like I owned it. They picked it up 5/15. Tried contacting them getting no response. I'd like the entire $645 reimbursed. If I ordered a large sweater and they send a small I have right to my money back. I don't know how this has to go so far. Can this be a class action suit? They've got a lot of victims. I'd also like if businesses whom have a F rating with the BBB have to disclose that in their advertising.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Ultimate dumpsters continues to push responsibility on their brokerage party. As a consumer, I met my responsibility of contacting the original company I thought I was doing business with. This is simply a scheme to ask customers to pay additional fees. I was told by Discounts Dumpsters (Brokerage Party) that miscommunication between companies is a very common complaint. The business has not resolved my issues and continues to ask me for additional payment.

I called Ultimate Dumpster on 05/14/25 asking if the dumpster could be removed and they stated they had never received a request for dumpster removal from Discount Dumpster. In addition to never receiving a request, they stated that I owed them $420.00 for keeping the dumpster for additional days. After several hours of being placed on hold, being hung up on, or plainly being denied any type of customer service. ********************** Dumpster denied any association with Discount Dumpster and stated that they would be billing me for the additional fee. I am appalled by the complete lack of responsibility from both of these companies and do not plan on paying the additional fee. I would like the Better Business Bureau to address this companies poor practices so that no one else is scammed by this company. Thank you for your consideration.Business Response

Were not Discount Dumpster. We are Ultimate Dumpster. If Discount Dumpster brokered the deal to us, nobody communicated to us any pickup requests and thats something the customer to contact Discount Dumpster about. We picked up when we were actually informed. There was never any initial pickup on our end of the dumpster from the customer until the 15th. Not only does our contract that the customer signed have our contact information but there is also a text thread with the customer they could have replied to for the removal. After speaking with Discount Dumpster they never received any call from the customer for the removal. If they did they would have told them to contact us directly or would have let us know.Business Response

As stated in the previous reply. The customer will not be getting charged anything additional. They disputed the charge this complaint is in regards to. There is nothing further Ultimate Dumpster can resolve about the situation until we get the response back in 90 days. As for whose responsibility it is it seems like there is a miscommunication for everyone involved as Discount Dumpsters never received a call prior to the 15th for removal at this address.Customer Answer

I rented a 30 yard Dumpster on March 14th for $665. It was delivered on March 18th. I requested for it to be picked up March 19th through text saying that storms are coming through & they need to get it right now if possible. They texted back that the request for removal was received. March ******************************************************************* my drive way after raining twice. They finally picked it up the 25th. I received a text April 1st that I was charged for over tonnage with no knowledge they were going to charge my card. I called them confused & wanted to know why. A manager explained to me that it was because of water loaded all in the ************** in the contract. I knew they were lying but I still pulled the contract I signed up and read it to them as it listed no water under tonnage. This was my first time renting a ************** kind of giggled & stated I should have put a tarp over it in the mean time while waiting for pick up. They pick up whenever they finally show up so I never thought to use a good tarp & give them. Being charged $279 now I wish I would have known. I disputed through my bank who later investigated and asked for more info. I emailed the contract & screenshots of text messages. They just charged me a reverse provisional amount May 13. Today, May 14 Ultimate Dumpsters called me to tell me they will charge me again since they received I disputed the amount. I told them I actually was charged it yesterday & she said they can just see I disputed it. Im waiting for them to charge me again since my card is on ********* going to call my bank and dispute again. This company is harassing people and scamming for money by waiting over a week for pick up knowing the tonnage will be higher.Business Response

Attached is the signed contract stating that removal/delivery times are not guaranteed. Being the trucking business anything can happen on the road. As for as removal dates, if you call on the 18th we get the removal on schedule the soonest we have availability. It also states in the contract that Ultimate Dumpsters has the authority to charge the card for any overages that occurs during the customers rental. When the customer called in and spoke to the billing manager I can assure they were empathetic towards the situation and also gave the customer a discount. Which is something ********************** cannot do for over weight fees, due to the fact that this is what is paid out to the landfill when the customers trash is disposed. I have attached that refund receipt as well. The customer may have lost the dispute on their end but on Ultimate Dumpsters end it is still being processed. There will be no additional charges until we get notified from the bank that we lost/won. It can take up to 90 days for Ultimate to hear an update, but again the customer will not be charged.Initial Complaint

I rented a dumpster and placed household clean out items- no furniture- just boxes of papers, a few folding chairs, garbage bags that I could lift (54yo woman) of old toys/clothes and spring leaf cleanup from a 0.25 acre yard. My credit card was charged for an extra half ton of garbage. I reached out to the company to see where/how they arrived at this amount and have heard nothing back. They will not provide clarification on how they calculated this amount. I want to know why I was charged because my items were no where close to 1 1/2 tons of trash.Business Response

Ordered Dumpster on 01/06/2025, the business sent the wrong size I paid for. I paid $498 total. The business showed on website and I choose a 20 yard roll off that could handle over one ton of materials, which is 20 feet long by 8 feet wide, 5 feet high. But instead they sent a dolly type wagon 4 x 6 in the picture I attached. I called the business and canceled immediately! I sent a picture of the correct one I picked on the website they defrauded me. Deception knowing that I person could not be able to cancel an order until they seen the wrong item deliver, you could do it 24 hour before delivery this is the trap and fraud. They have you money and send you anything. Please Help! The business do not want to respond with truth or justice or fairness. The delivery person said the business do this a lot. Working with these people was nightmare once they take payment contract is not valid. We ordered a dumpster for 7 days they are using the day we inquired as a delivery date. Ridiculous they don't bother to look at actual contract. Then say we told driver to pick it up early. They picked it up once I left the house we only had it for 4 days. They come up with there own dates and edit pictures to make YOU seem wrong. We were right to suspect something was wrong because they did take 2 days to deliver and could never get a delivery date. The customer disputed the original charge that is why we requested ***** as the form of payment for delivery. There is also a time stamped picture which I will include, it was delivered on Wednesday 11/27/2024 and picked up a week later. She had the container for 7 days as per her signed contract which will also be included.
